This family run take a way is a little hidden gem in Prestwich. Always a very warm welcome and great tasting food. Well worth a try.

Disgraceful service this evening . Delivery time went well over what they stated on phone . 1hour 40min wait after being told 10mins when called to see where food was. Delivery driver rude and obnoxious no compassion. Arguing with partner over 60p when we paid £30 telling us not his problem when my daughter has health condition and needed food with her insulin which could have been dangerous . Food wasn’t worth the wait everything was over cooked . Lost me and my family as customers . What a terrible way to treat customers. Down hill for them

Used this place for years, great food great service and quick delivery

Used to be amazing two years ago. Had last night, super dry everything, tasteless beef in black been sauce, salt n pepper chicken was boring :( chips were the absolute worst of them all though, felt like a few days old with cardboard texture. Sad times!

This is my all time favourite Chinese Take away. I have a specially made dish (Fish with Black Bean Sauce and Veg) and i'm allowed to choose all the veg I love which they happily add.....the sauce is outstanding and the portion size is brilliant....Highly recommended.

Worst Chinese ever , had bad food poisoning, avoid it like the plague 😡😡

We had hot and sour soup, vegetarian sweetcorn soup, prawn crackers, pak far duck and crispy noodles. All absolutely delicious. We have ordered from Won Sheng many times and never had a bad meal. Can sometimes be a little late on delivery, but not often and only when they are really busy

By far one of the worst Chinese Iv ever had. Chicken or batter might be better was covered in oil. Chips were disgusting, rice wasn’t much better. It’s a no for me.

Definitely worth trying out. It's the second Chinese takeaway we've tried since moving to the area and it's a huge improvement from the other place we had before. Would recommend the chow mein and won tons especially

Tried several times (about 7) to order from this takeaway, via Just Eat and each time bar 1 they refused the order. No explanation given.

This Chinese takeaway used to be of such quality, however, the banquet I ordered this evening wasn't. The chicken & sweetcorn soup had very little chicken and the spare ribs were very salty. The worst thing about the Kung Po chicken was it contained tinned chicken and was a disgusting colour of pink. I won't bother visiting again

I've had some bad Chinese takeaways but this is the worse I've had in my life. First of all, the prawn crackers were soggy and too thin, looked old. Then the soup was just some spicy sauce out of a can and added some badly cut veg. The main was the worse, the tangiest sauce and the no chicken was mainly soggy batter. On top of it all, found a nice long brown hair in the rice. I hate throwing away food but it was all completely unedible.

We live about 10-15 minutes walking distance and we have been using a different one all this time,, so we decided to try the Won Sheng and their food is absolutely very tasty and this takeaway is as good as restaurant standard. I am so glad that we tried their food, this is one new number 1 takeaway.

This little Chinese take away use to be so popular and busy. Now since the new owner (took over few years ago) its gone down on quality of food. We stopped going there.

Good value, poor food. Chicken had a strong taste to it, it was quite off putting. Chips were hard and chewy. Chicken fried rice was okay, no complaints there but once again the chicken letting everything down. Can of coke was great. Sorry but wont be going here again.

Fantastic service fantastic food it's our 1st time at this Chinese take away I highly recommend it you won't be disappointed, the crispy beef was the best I have had .

The vegetarian dishes they do are amazing! If you are plant based you have to try the mock duck and mock chicken. WOW.

I don't write many reviews, but this has been my regular Chinese takeaway for years, so feel they've more than earned it. The dishes are always very good, but their chips are simply the best around (especially if you ask for them extra crispy). I know a Chinese isn't normally judged on their chips, but that's how I judge them, and Won Sheng's are the best...

As a vegetarian I was thrilled to find this takeaway doing mock chicken and duck dishes. I've tried quite a few of the vegetarian dishes now and am absolutely made up that they make them so well. The vegetarian duck pancakes are DIVINE. My family who are meat eaters were also very impressed by the quality of the food. It arrived fresh and hot and the staff are very friendly and helpful on the phone. May now be my go to Chinese takeaway!

The best veggie options of any chinese I've ever been to, and they go out of their way to give great service!

By far the best Chinese in Manchester! Good size portions, always really fresh and piping hot! Quick delivery too never waited more than an hour and nearly always get it sooner. Must try the salt and pepper crispy shredded chicken it's addicting! And the salt and pepper chips are amazing, also the soft stir fry noodles. Literally everything on the menu! Only dissapointing thing is they dont offer free prawn crackers when you spend more than £10 which most chinese places do.

Great Chinese food..fried fish & ginger and duck stuffed with mushrooms and mushroom sauce with sesame seeds in a delicious sauce. Also salt & pepper ribs.. highly recommended.

Ordered duck plum sauce came full of pineapple soaked in batter yuk and black bean beef was poor quality soaked in sauce full of overpowering chilli when I phoned up to complain not interested very very poor wont go back how it can get 5tars disgusting

After chancing upon it one evening, I now travel over 6 miles across the city by public transport just for this Chinese. Sad I know, but that should tell you something. The food is fresh, flavoursome and really, really good. It may be salty on occasion, but I have yet to find its match on the south side.

Nice food but sent an incomplete order. Tofu without the sweet and sour sauce has no flavour.

This Chinese is usually one of the best we've ever had, but the last takeaway was almost inedible - it was so salty that even eating part of it made us feel a bit unwell. Ease up on the salt and we'll come back again!

Great food if they get your order right!!! I've been to this Chinese for a long time and 4/5 times I ask for no veg in Singapore fried rice and they still put it in. WHY HAVE ONIONS AND GREEN PEPPERS IN FRIED RICEEEEEE????
