Wow. This place is great value if you want a quick affordable lunch in green park. This isn’t just your usual pasta, there is so much option to customise you can make it whatever you want. A large pasta for £6.50 is truly a bargain compared to restaurants, would recommend!

Having to find gluten free food whilst at the office is not much fun, but I have discovered that they sell all of their pizzas with gluten free bases - and they taste great, not the usual fall apart in your hand, dry rubbish. Because I asked for their spicy chicken pizza, they even pointed out that the spicy coating contains gluten, so replaced it with the lemon chicken. The staff member even told me where they buy their pizza bases , so that I can buy them myself for making home made pizzas. The only slight downside is that they only do full sized pizzas with the gluten free base (you can buy half pizzas with normal bases), but as I normally have a big appetite by lunchtime that really isn't a problem!

I had a large Piada with Spicy Chicken and salad. Not impressed with the tiny amount of chicken filling used then stuffed out with masses of salad and bloody expensive @ £6.50!!! Not at all value for money. Wouldn't recommend or return. Save your money and spend it elsewhere!!

Went for lunch and regretted It. We had pizza and made to feel it was inconvenient with a tut on ordering and the man on the till acting like it was a lot of effort. The pizza was served and looked like it had been chucked in a box with all 4 slices chucked on top of each other which meant the topping was stuck to the bases. The pizza was good but overpriced along with orange juice, the pizza was £5+ and orange juice over £3.50

My friend introduced this Italian restaurant to me as I had no clue that you can get such nice tasty food in this industrial area. Went there with my wife, and both of us had the same feedback. The food was tasty, the salad was fresh and the staff was even more courteous. The whole experience was excellent. Kudos to the Wolf Team. Cheers.

Went here for the first time last week. You choose salad, wrap etc, then hot toppings and cold toppings with sauces I went for a small salad to start with vegetables. However, as I did not have any meat, I could only have veg and other toppings. This is not what they advertise! I chose cold toppings instead. A spoonful of sweet corn, guacamole, olives and mushrooms and I was done. They didn’t have the sauce I wanted so I chose the ‘ginger’ option. They mixed it all up and it didn’t really touch the sides of the container and they charged me nearly £5 for the pleasure Overrated venue that is convenient, with miserable staff. I won’t be going there again

Finally said they could cook chicken but would take 7 mins I was happy with that as I had time. Manager then tells her no it would be a waste of chicken and his time! Someone needs to remind them That if your open until 2 pm you prepare and serve food until 2 pm not start packing up at 1 pm ! Server was very embarrassed, Manager thought he was god not going back !! Disgusted

This is my 2nd visit to wolf. I had cravings so had to return! Not sure what the mixed reviews are about. You can pick from lovely freshly made breads/wraps, pasta or salad. You then get to pick a meat or veg topping, with sauce, and finally add cheese, vegetables etc. It is a more expensive lunch at £7 for a large wrap and a drink, but it is worth it. The wrap was delicious and packed with food; lemon and herb chicken, roasted peppers and onions, mozzarella cheese, fresh tomato sauce, lettuce and fresh red onion, all added in front of me.

I felt a bit let down by Wolf Italian. In the past I've always enjoyed their pizzas which were a good price but unfortunately, it seems they have significantly reduced the size of these recently. Last week I went back and thought I'd try one of their latest offerings - a Piada. I paid a little extra to 'go large' but the employee still only put the tiniest amount of steak on my Piada - I was really shocked at how stingy the potion size was, and I also found it was cold when I came to eat it. I would have complained if it hadn't been so busy but I can't see any reason that I would return here.

Fantastic coffee and simple fresh delicious food, that's what I know and love Italy for! Well, sadly nothing resembling that here!Being right next to the Tesla charger I often have an hour to kill here but after several visits I can't bring myself to go back, even the smell exuding from it turns my stomach. To be fair I haven't tried the pasta, but a wrap with beef that was like rubber and several awful cappuccinos and sandwiches has been enough to put me off.Doesn't seem to put others off though, at lunchtime you have to queue for 15 mins, maybe because there isn't anywhere else at Green Park.I now go to newsagent next door that sell sandwiches and coffee and have a seating area, nothing fancy but it doesn't purport to be and you pay half the price.

Wolf is a nice place for lunch with friendly and efficient service, usually plenty of seating, and nice food. Pizzas are good, wraps are good, I don't know if it's Street Food or not but you can tell it's Italian because they put spaghetti in the wraps, see. It's often queued out the door at lunchtimes thanks to it being one of the only decent places to eat on Green Park (its main competition is a soggy sandwich from WHSmith next door) but avoid 12-1 and you can get served fairly quickly. It's a bit like Subway where you move along the line choosing first your wrap, filling, then toppings. Unlike Subway the food is tasty and the ingredients are high quality. Unfortunately, unlike Subway you are limited in the number of toppings and the food is vastly overpriced, probably down to the lack of competition in Lime Square. £6.25 for a wrap with three toppings not including any drinks or crisps (£7.25 for a larger wrap with an extra topping). I asked for sliced olives on top of the wrap but was told it would be an extra quid for that, even though if I'd reassembled them I might have achieved two entire olives for my £1.Overall there's a good selection of tasty food and you could easily fill a week's worth of lunchtimes there without getting bored of the food, but you'll pay through the nose for it.

I had their pasta sitting in the square outside. It was one of my most pleasant recollections of the trip to Reading. The Wolf has a range of vegetables, add-ons and sauces to choose from. Each one i tried was delicious, fresh and well-made, be it the olives, the peppers or the falafals. It turned out to be the most scrumptuous pasta i have ever had. I loved it so much i went back another day. Even for vegetarians they had huge options which one doesn't always find. The service is polite and friendly and the price very reasonable. I would surely go back there next time i visit Reading. Even those who are not-so-fond of pasta would come to love it if they tried the Wolf.

Went to Wolf on a whim this Saturday. We weren't looking for anything in particular, we were just really hungry after a shop. I really liked the name of the place so decided we should go for it.I was blown away honestly. The food was SO GOOD. I had a British Steak wrap; can't remember what they call it but it was amazing. Had it with peppers, a parmesan type sauce and diced cucumber. They do this neat little thing with the wrap where they season it and warm it up on a flat grill. Whatever they do it tasted great. My wife had a vegetarian salad with Falafal. It was nice for her to have lots of things to choose from as she is a vegetarian. In the end I was very surprised when the food was so affordable. Didn't expect it to be such a bargain (for the quality)Thanks for a lovely lunch!

This place used to be much better. I went for my lunch just now and the portion sizes are about half of what they used to be, the food wasn't seasoned properly and they now give you half the salad, but charge the same. The dressing also appears to be watered down. The staff are also not particularly interested in greeting you, or making you feel welcome. It's a real shame. I recently tried Wolf in Reading town centre after seeing queuing out of the door every single day. I went for spaghetti with lemon and garlic chicken, pomodoro sauce with sweet peppers and mozzarella! It was absolutely delicious. I went large for an extra £1 as I am especially greedy but I think next time I will just get a regular. I heard it is 70g of meat as standard and 120g if you go large, so quite a difference. It cost me £5.95 for the large portion which I thought for a large portion of pasta with chicken sauce and extras was really good value, it was fresh and so tasty! I thought having the stations set out where you pick your base, then meat, then sauce etc was great and moved the queue along reasonably quickly.I will definitely be back again!

Small portion of meat to top the pasta or salad base which we ha chosen. Only allowed to add two salad items (including cheese) to the top or pay extra, very small scoops used to put these items on the plate. At £12 for two people with one drink I wish that I had went to subway etc so much better value for money.

Great presentation of the restaurant, however my concerns started as soon as they used weighing scales to determine exactly how much penne pasta I would get for my money!Next followed with my selection of meat, I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but you could have fitted the quantity of the meat serving in the hand of a 2 year old!Next you are presented with a great array of salads and accompaniments (that normally are given away in abundance in other establishments) only to be told you are allowed 1 option (this is because of my 'base' which was the pasta option) and that the rocket was free! Oh great I'll have 15 handfuls please just so I can get value for money. The service was slightly chaotic and built up like a traffic jam on the motorway towards the cash desk. All in all, I would strongly recommend your hard earned cash (£5-7) and visit other establishments such as M&S, Picnic or Subway.

I'm unaware of how long this has been open for so I'm going to be a little generous with a rating of three, and put it down to teething problems. From the outside, the whole place is very inviting and the decor is stunning. The whole concept is a little Subway-style in the sense that you kinda choose what you'd like as you go along. The idea is great. So far, so good. I decided to just get a pizza, so I placed my order and then the lady behind the counter had to go and find someone who had a walky-talky to convey my order to the chef upstairs. A bit weird and time consuming, but whatever. I was the only customer in the store, and there was seven or eight members of staff behind the counter so it was a little too crowded and everybody was getting in each other's way. There was no organisation. I had four different people ask for my order, and three different people try and take payment from me once I'd already paid. Eventually, my pizza arrived and more than made up for it all. Probably the best pizza I have tasted in my life - very Italian. This has the potential to be great, but there's a few tweaks that need to be made in order to get there.
