Johnnos Pizza is the hidden gem of Reading! The pizza here is always cooked to perfection with a crispy base and just the right amount of toppings. The staff are super friendly and the service is incredibly fast, even during peak hours

Wraps were great, arrived early and hot, polite & friendly delivery driver. Good food, great value. No complaints.

20 minutes late but app said it was delivered 15 minutes before it was! not great

The restaurant seemed good as called when they didn’t have something and replaced it but the delivery from when I got the notification to say it would be delivered to when it was delivered the food was cold has to reheat it before eating

SCAM !!!!! Rang them they answered and told us to order via Uber eats they answered the first time. After this we ordered nothing was delivered and they have not answered the phone strange that they still haven’t answered they have my number and have no answered even though they are open

Ordered from here. Delivery never arrived - the delivery man never attempted the delivery, he had called but never rang the doorbell or came down the drive or simply left the food and let us know via text he had left it. We text the delivery man to ask what’s happened and where our food was - he simply said to call the restaurant the next day (it was very late at night). When I asked why he never even attempted the delivery I received no response. I have tried to call the pizza place on numerous occasions and there has been no response, I will continue to attempt.

Never received my order and the delivery driver has blocked my number. Waste of £50. Delivery driver never rang doorbell, I have a dog and he didn’t bark

The food delivery was 5 mins late, and when the food got here it was rubbish. Nothing tasted nice; we had a slice of pizza each (2 slices total) and then binned the rest.

Chicken was literally RAW and i didn’t get the rice i ordered. Arrived an hour late by some dodgy blokes in a greasy as hell bag. Well done - you’ll get far in life.

Pizza was ok. The base seemed like a frozen ready bought base and was a bit chewy with not a good crust. Toppings were fine. Curly fries were soggy on arrival, perhaps a change in packaging could help with this. Ordered from here due to desperation but next time will probably just starve x

Impressed with the variety! Whether you're craving pizza, burgers, or wraps, this place has it all. Tried their chicken burger and it was amazing. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the bun was soft and fresh. Will be back to explore more of their menu.

ordered a mix kebab with a naan and a bottle of coke. i recieved what looked like left overs of scrappy doner and 3 small pieces of chicken in a tray with a cardboard pitta... i wasnt happy at all. also gave me pepsi rather than coke which im not overly fussed about but still wrong. To add to this i placed order at around 20:30 and recieved at 22:10. disgusting

I ordered chicken previously which was nice ordered a kebab and it was not nice and felt like paper

overcooked burger strip, bearly any salad and lettuce totally brown. pizza would be nice if it's not stuffed with over salted feta or goat cheese, can't eat it.. called restaurant, it's difficult to talk to them when their English language is not enough to understand what I'm talking about.. so half pizza not eatable and this way is very expensive and not enough food..🙁

food arrived over an hour late, and wasn't very nice nor hot the chips were awful. the pizza dough was like bread. the wings were nice though. I called once and they said they were waiting for a driver. asked for an update about 15 minutes later via text and they pushed the delivery time even later.

The delivery was due between 19:30-19:50 but arrived at 20:18. The order should have had salad and fries but came with only rice. Food tasted good but was late and not what I ordered.

We ordered from Johnnos as a way to support local businesses, but am sorry to say that we were really disappointed. We ordered chicken burger meals and some baked hot wings. The burgers didn't taste very nice, the chips were dry and the hot wings needed to be cooked a little more as they were soggy not crispy. The delivery was really quick, but I assume that was because live pretty close and we ordered during a quiet time. The delivery driver was also polite and friendly. I think a little more care and attention to the ingredients used and how the food is prepared would go a long way.

I ordered pizza from here and it never came! After waiting half an hour past the time it was meant to arrive they sent me a notification of a later time. Then to my amazement after being late an hour and a half cancelled my order. So disappointing and unprofessional. They’re undeserving of any stars and only get the 1* because I cannot leave a review otherwise.

We waited 2 and a half hours for the pizza to be delivered and when it finally came it was stone cold. We asked for a refund and they suggested they would just send a pizza free of charge to make up for it. After calling them numerous times I’m still waiting for my pizza 🤷‍♂️😂

Never disappointed I had lovely pizzas and garlic bread from here and really nice bit of chicken in the burgers, chips always on point one thing I really enjoyed eating last week was johnnys new own made beef burger, you can tell they take pride in getting the favour just right.

The staff are so kind! No problems apart from the one time which they sorted fine no issues, definitely recommend the cookies are amazing 😍

Ordené desde aquí anoche y estaba escarbando en mi comida a punto de ponerme un chip en la boca que tenía una mosca, tiré mi comida para luego encontrar otra, así que Dios sabe cuántos estamos volando en el aceite. están usando Pedí papas fritas, no mosca frita, la forma en que el restaurante lo manejó también fue espantosa, he disfrutado de aquí 3 veces las otras 2, pero esto estaba muy por detrás de los estándares básicos de higiene, ESPECIALMENTE con las circunstancias todos estamos tratando actualmente con (Covid) ¡Evite este lugar a toda costa! ! !

My order was over an hour late I refused it but was told to take it so they didn't have to throw it out and to call them in the morning to complain to them. I called in the morning to be told I accepted the food so can't really complain.

Best pizza in RG, beats Dominos in texture, taste and price. Only criticism would be the garlic and herb dip, very sweet with little flavour.

Opened till late and was very easy to find. The pizza was fresh and very tasty. The staff was particularly very friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend this place and will visit again.

Ordered 3 pizzas tonight , all cooked to death , dry and cold , total con job , why anyone would think it was ok to let alone cook this and then actually put this in a box and send it out is beyond me

Nothing special, £6 for a burger meal, burger was nice, but no sauce or salad and no drink. (From justeat) Pizza also ok, felt mass produced and shop bought. Considering prices aren't too dissimilar to lots of other takeaways in a 10 mile radius, there are several other better places to order from. Wouldn't order again.

The food arrived on time and hot and they driver was polite. The burger was good and not over cooked but obviously was a fairly standard commercial patty. The chicken wings were breaded and because of being wrapped in foil were a bit moist instead of crisp but that is more due to transport but again it felt like they were commercially supplied product. The pizza was okay but the crust lacked any distinct texture or flavour and yet again felt mass produced. I like to try independent pizza shops hoping to find something special but while Johnnos was okay I will have to continue my search.

ordered through just eat as too late for regular place as a delivery. 5 out of 6 stars on just eat. came quickly, tasted like pizza and I was hungry. Probably would not order if I had seen the previous review about being dirty place with scratchy bloke, but joys of being lazy.

First time having food from these guys. I am a coach driver and was stuck at a school all day and had no lunch so ordered through just eat app. Food came really quick, was piping hot, bottle of drink was lovely and cold (best bit as very hot in full uniform sat in sun). It was absolutely gorgeous food as well, way better and cheaper than other 'main' brands. Will definitely use again if out this way again anytime.
