Wokstar Takeaway in Glasgow City

Hay tal variación en la calidad de la comida china en Glasgow y pensé en darle una oportunidad a Wokstar sin grandes expectativas. Sin embargo, el sabor, la calidad y el costo de sus alimentos superan con creces cualquier cosa que haya probado en años. Había escuchado de otros que eran buenos, así que estaba encantado de que fuera verdad... Los rollos de primavera vegetal son enormes, llenos de verduras deliciosas y auténticas. Tuvimos un curry de langostino rey, de nuevo excelente con un poco de salsa Satay. En esencia, esta es ahora mi comida favorita en Glasgow.

Amazing food, definitely the best Chinese takeaway on the Southside of Glasgow. The quality of the food and the service is excellent, it was well worth the wait and it always is. We are regulars, and for the reasons above we always will be. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🧧

Wow just wow. I’ve recently moved back to Scotland and live 10 minutes away from Wokstar. Its been highly recommended by friends of mine so tonight I made my first order by phone and the staff member was so polite and took my order . On arrival it was so busy however even though it was busy the owner came out to meet me as it was my first time . This was so nice of him . My order was collected on time and I must say the portions were huge . The food tasted absolutely superb , especially the Beef green pepper black bean sauce . The beef was so tender and not one bit chewy . All full of flavor too. The breast chicken curry is also a winner and again very large portion and of course quality chicken in this dish . The curry sauce also tasty and full of flavor The Satay chicken spring roll starter was tremendous and the sauce that accompanied it was delicious. Salt and chilli chips. Black pudding balls. Chicken wings were also lovely. I will definitely be using Wokstar from Now on. Thank you all and I look forward to trying out more delicious dishes from the menu

Fabulous take away on the south side of Glasgow, the one pot meals are amazing and fabulous amount for 1 person, staff very helpful, chef is 1st class

There was lots of food so portions are good (but most takeaways are like this) though all the food was too salty!! Had been recommended this place by a friend and it was a bit of a let down. Also very few veggie options

Food was sensational, so fresh and the duck was particularly amazing. Service was great and staff friendly too. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be our regular Chinese takeaway from now on.

Use here quite a lot and is prob best I’ve had from Glasgow.. salt and chilli squid is good and quality of the mains are always good too. They deliver fast

Foods always been the same great quality year after year. Quality chicken, not the cheap imported stuff used in the rest. All fresh food made from scratch including sauce base paste etc

Rude staff. No professionalism. They have an opinion that you are not interested in and they tell it to you anyway because they think they're right and proceed to tell you you are wrong.

Have just finished a chicken In garlic in a white wine sauce with fried rice. Omg its was amazing. Plenty of chicken and the sauce was lovely. Garlic with spring onions with a nice creamy sauce that was not to over powering.

I have been visiting Wokstar since it opened, the food has always been top quality and consistent. Service is friendly and fast. I have actually moved out the area now but still get food every time I pass or are visiting relatives. Would recommend 150%

He estado yendo a este chino durante los últimos 3 años y nunca he tenido una mala experiencia. Andy y todo el resto del personal siempre es atento y la comida siempre es excelente. Andy parece que después de sus clientes leales es evidente ya que siempre está lleno. Ya va he tenido la oportunidad de experimentar un montón de platos nuevos y encontramos algunos nuevos favoritos. No podría recomendar este lugar.

My favourite take away by far, food is tasty and cooked fresh. The portion sizes are huge and there's plenty of choice on the menu. Andy is forever trying out new dishes which are always delicious can't recommend Wokstar more!

I live 20 odd miles away and travel in every few weeks for food from the wokstar! Always had amazing food and amazing service with great portion size and price! Would recommend to anyone!💕

He estado pidiendo comida de alrededor de 2 años para Wokstar y nunca he tenido una mala comida. Todo es fresco, llega rápidamente (cuando la entrega de mi trabajo en Govanhill) y gustos fuera de este mundo. Que bueno de hecho viajo el 30 minutos de Airdrie a recogerlo cuando estoy en el trabajo. En varias ocasiones me han dado platos gratis, lo cual es muy de agradecer. Me resulta difícil creer estas críticas negativas, ya sé que la calidad de la comida de Wokstar. Espero ansioso mi próxima comida desde allí

Food is always fresh and tasty! I have been a regular since they opened. Yes sometimes there is a wait but you won't be disappointed!

Pedí de este establecimiento un sábado por la noche. Acepté que los fines de semana pueden estar ocupados, sin embargo, creo que una espera de dos horas de la que solo se te informa después de confirmar tu pedido y pagar es inaceptable. Cuando llegó mi comida, pollo al curry y patatas fritas, sal y chile alitas de pollo y sal y trocitos de chile que estaban poco cocidos y no comestibles, coloqué lo que siento que fue una revisión justa, reconociendo lo que era bueno y malo sobre mi pedido. abrupta una respuesta sarcástica de su gestión. Ahora vivimos en una época en la que las empresas se abren voluntariamente a comentarios positivos y negativos, y si no puede llevar ambas a bordo quizás no deba trabajar en el servicio al cliente, basado más en la actitud de la administración de lo que podría haber sido uno en calidad de comida califico mal a su establecimiento

What can I say the food is great. Have tried so many different dishes. The peking ribs are to die for. Plenty of lovely sauce and plenty of meat on the bone. The chicken curry is very good as well.

Este clasificado #1 comida para llevar en nuestra zona en comer, así que decidimos probar. Pedir a través de comer solo en 7:20 pm nos dijeron que tendríamos que llegar a las 8:30 pm (de domingo por la noche no puede esperar este largo, así que pensé que estaría feliz, pero llega antes de este esperar hasta 830).

Tengo que decir que si te encanta gambas entonces tienes que probar este es absolutamente deliciosa, te dan tu salsa dulce y agria, pero normalmente sólo tengo tal como es. He probado otros sitios pero Wokstar son mucho más superior. Me alegro de que puede conseguir una comida como sólo un entrante.

Luckily this food place is so near by me and I use them twice or more in a month They are superb If you like hot food then try shredded chicken with green chilli

I found this takeaway when I was visiting friends one night and we ordered from it on just eat the food was fast and the flavours were the exact same as you would expect in the main big restaurants in Glasgow. When we're at my friends we always order a wok star you have got to try the salt and chilli chicken amazing. U recommend this takeaway oh And you get free fortune cookies

Order from here the other night and the salt and pepper chicken is a must! Nicest salt and pepper chicken in Glasgow. Followed with the Peking chicken with noodles, also lovely!

Love the food. Its great value for money. Large portions. Prompt service. It is in my opinion one of the best Chinese takeaways in Glasgow.Highly recommended

We have used the takeaway on several occasions and this is finally the last straw. The food is good, the price is good but when you wait 1hr45 once and then 1hr 40 you begin to get fed up. I have never got my food within the hour so the quality and price becomes secondary when you are hungry. We have always said ok we will give them another go, but not anymore we will try elsewhere
