Woks Chinese Takeaway in Stockport

Wasted £10 on chips, ‘spring rolls’ and a tub of what shouldn’t be described as sweet and sour sauce. I couldn’t eat it’s everything tasted like mush but also pure oil. Terrible and very disappointing

my first time ordering from wok and I will definitely be ordering more in the future food was delicious cooked to perfection we had duck pancakes all the trimming salt pepper ribs hot sour soup fried rice ok sauce. food was all well wrapped for delivery I'm giving them 5 🌟 restaurant quality food

Chicken chow mein smelled like rotting meat so unfortunately had to bin it. Ribs were good though.

Supposed to get free prawn crackers on orders over £20 did not get any my order was £25.50.

Fabulous food from here! Always arrives really hot, it's fresh and tasty. I've had chicken chow mein, the chicken in this is gorgeous and you get quite a lot of it, no fat and really tasty. Shredded chicken in OK sauce is really really nice, as is the chicken in oyster sauce, also enjoyed the egg fried rice and vegetable spring rolls. I cannot find anything to complain about, the food arrives piping hot, promptly, and everything tastes freshly made. LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Everything was delicious except the beef meat was poor quality.

Fresh food cooked nicely. Not greasy or stodgy like some of the other places I’ve tried.

Very dry no sauce and spent £30 and didn’t get free prawn crackers

Very little meat in the duck and lemon dish, salt and pepper chips did not have a lot of flavour, chicken balls were chewy and the ribs were a bit dry but the king prawn chow mein was lovely

Fabulous food, what more can I say?

Worst Chinese I’ve been to in a long time. Went into the takeaway to let them know about my (sesame and peanut) allergy. The women at the counter re-assured me they’d make sure to do the dishes without. I get home take 4 mouthfuls and one of the dishes has been cooked in sesame and I have a severe reaction. Will not be going back, shocking customer service.

Great customer service, I ordered the wrong item on just eat and called the restaurant to fix it Easily done as they have very polite staff and even got a bonus of spicy prawn crackers. The food was beautiful and filling. we will definitely be ordering again.

Food normally really good and they follow instructions re allergies & choices. However on this occasion they didnt and 1 meal was not able to be eaten as contained ingrediants that person couldnt eat and they didnt send other items requested. Dissapointed and annoyed

Used to be alright, now it’s not great. They don’t have a huge amount of option (not even a mild curry sauce) the chicken is cheap

Incorrect starter received. Ordered salt & pepper ribs but salt & pepper chicken wings were delivered.

Collected a special sweet and sour, half rice and chips last night. I specifically asked for no onions in my meal. Got home and plated up to find onions in my meal! But after a 16 hours shift, I couldn't be bothered to go back and complain and just picked the onions out.

Worth the wait.......wonderful food full of flavour and goodness. We've not ordered from Woks in a few months but will definitely be back soon. Thanks again guys and thanks for the fortune cookies!

Unfortunately no BBQ sauce on the ribs as it was all over everything else in the bag! Polite suggestion please serve the sauce separately. I enjoyed what I ate but was disappointed to find the set meals were no longer on the menu.

Ordered: crispy shredded beef in spicy sauce. Received: rubber shredded beef in spicy sauce. Just pour the sauce on before sending it out for delivery, not the day before (my best assumption) so it all goes soggy and rubbery. Take some pride in your food for goodness sake.

Probably one of the worst chineses I’ve had, didn’t enjoy it at all and ended up throwing in the bin. The food was way too salty and the sauces tasted horrible wouldnt order again

The salt pepper Ribs full of batter and so greasy ., it as all Poor quality and thou whole the meal in the bin.

Really enjoyed the food tonight. Ordered with ‘no veg’ so got a lot more meat and it wasn’t like a veg meal.

£8.50 for special curry and chips and is the smallest portion possible, 1 piece of chicken 1 pork 1 beef and 1 king prawn, absolutely disgusted with this, it must of changed hands because it was way way better 2 years ago, AVOID AVOID unless you like being ripped off!!!!
