The staff here are amazing! I frequently bring my son and they are so good with him. My son really likes Allistar, who goes above and beyond to make us smile. Lovley little cafe, coffee is always great too! Highly recommended

Visited today. Wow what an experience. Ordered a cheese and onion toastie. The lady on the till “Kelly” threw the toastie from the till to the counter behind her for her colleague to cook. I have never in my life seen such a thing! Who behaves in such a way? Clearly no respect and in front of customers! I was speechless. My toastie arrived . Uncooked and Soggy. I took it back to the till area and was told someone else had brought back their toastie because it wasn’t cooked. Really? Turn your toastie machine up then! After they both fingered with it and agreed it wasn’t cooked, no apology given so I just grabbed a ham sandwich, no refund offered. This is the second time we have been and I can definitely say we won’t be returning. We had to wipe our own table, it was disgustingly dirty. The Mocha we also ordered wasn’t even warm. This really needs addressing, do you really think this level (or lack of it) service is acceptable? I don’t. What a horrible cafe. Get a grip.

I had ham, egg and chips. Husband beef pie, Mash, peas and gravy. Both meals were disgusting. Solid mash. Pie was probably Microwaved as pastry was inedible. Chips had been waiting a long time. Cold and hard. Eggs dried. Not much damage you can do to 2 thin rounds of ham. No actual cooking appeared to have been involved. Waiting staff lethargic. Used to enjoy Sainsbury’s cafe. What a let down!

One of my fav comfort spot in the area. Great variety of food, spotless and spacious dinning space, super friendly staff, great coffee to start my day❤️ love the sunshine! Plenty of socket. Love tge place so much its absolutely brilliant interior design❤️

The cafe was dirty , like every table , not even half full, cakes and things on display weren’t fresh .. staff too busy chatting about who on next break .. Definitely wouldn’t rush back

Comically slow and disorganised staff. Amusing to watch them disorganise each other. Almost fawlty towers-esque. Food is quite reasonable and well priced. Atmosphere? Retired folk, kids and business people with laptops trying to look important.

Whent yesterday Saturday the 13th May I had to wate to be served not because of the que but because the staff were taking to each other and not serving very unprofessional the latè was nice shame about the flat white though

A bunch of sockets, reasonably big, pretty busy Though, I get the impression it's acting as people's only cafe in the area. 12 minutes queuing time...

Only gave 2stars as would’ve of given any except for lady taking orders and making the drinks. There was no cutlery and had to wait a while after food arrived and had to ask a few times. Didn’t realise the staff were waiting for the dishwasher to finish. We ordered tuna and sweet corn jacket potatoes. There was hardly any tuna it was mainly mayonnaise with bits of tuna and sweetcorn. It was awful. I don’t blame the staff as they seemed overworked and not enough of them. I blame sainsburys as they must decide the ratio of ingredients used. The meal was only £4 each and feel that sainsburys should review their costing and improve the quality of food served and until they do we will not be returning to this cafe.

Could not be faulted. Every item cooked to perfection. Pleasent surroundings. And extremely quick service.

Oh dear what has happened. Order taking is woefully slow. One server takes orders and also makes coffee and heats snacks. Actually watched the microwave do the heating, then watches the coffee pour. No multi tasking here. Occasionally a helper is brought on to help with hot drinks but they also clear tables. The food is actually quite good when you get it but you could wait 20 minutes in the queue for a coffee or a sandwich.

Oh my goodness what on earth has happened to the food had my usual fish and chips what rubbish hope they improve soon .

Don't think much of the staff, need some training

Call in for a coffee and sit down when I have finished my shopping. Not the best place, fairly lound music, quite often not too clean, tables often not cleared often enough, food spilt on floor etc. etc.

Really lovely food, but i had to ask for a clean cup, n the teapot was disgusting, when I told the lady washing the pots all I got was oh, so went to customer services told them, you could put ur finger in and it came off the pot, she said ok I will tell them, became what u get guys

It took 15 minutes to get served at the checkout even though there were half a dozen staff behind the counter. They served the tea quickly but because it took so long to pay for it, it was cold and tasted awful. A real disappointment.

Slightly pricey for not always decent coffee.

My Slush Puppy was well nice and needed.

Rubbish we ordered two identical breakfasts which where both different & we had to call for the Manager

Very slow service. Not much choice of sandwiches, and if you order hot food be prepared to wait at least 30 mins.

Just the place for a drink in the middle of a shop. Rather noisy so not particularly peaceful. Good choice of food and drinks.

Not a great experience! The lady on the till was rude and unhelpful though other staff were helpful and working hard. The food was not great very hot dishes but food was half cold. Tasted like a cheap microwave meal! Kids chicken nuggets meal had 3 small nuggets a few chips and some over cooked peas! Really not worth the price!

My hot chocolate was tepid very disappointed

Food is average, the toasted tea cakes are amazing but the staff will refuse to tell you where to buy them from,and no it's not Sainsburys,on today's visit I waited 20 minutes for a pot of tea and a tea cake, only two customers there. Prices are average,hand hygiene by staff needs addressing handling food and money with no washing.

Good choice of menu. The wait not too long the quality and price ok. The cafe itself isn't exactly the best for warmth and ambiance. However good disabled and child facilities

Excellent place for home shopping

This was very poor. There was no food left apart from sandwiches but no sign until we got to the sales point. The only available hot food was chips. However as we left we saw customers getting hot food. The staff didn't appear organised at all.

Pleastly surprised with how nice the food was, inconsistent portions though, both my mum and I had fish and chips, one fish was huge and crispy with lots of chips while the other was quite small and not well battered with just a handful of chips, was still filling but looked dissapointing in comparison. Server advised a half hour wait for food but it wasn't that long. Much more enjoyable than Asda or Morrissons cafe!

It's a joke one person serving now announced no food for 20 mins as not enough staff. Avoid its so bad and that's not normal for a sainsbury. Would give no stars if I could.

I have had worse breakfasts but rairly. Tost was soggy and the mushromes had an odd texture. My expectations where low and thay where well and truly met.

It's an instore coffee shop and café, it serves its purpose perfectly. Nothing more, nothing less. Clean, efficient and friendly staff.

Was a nice cafe, good service. Children's meal were well priced and sized. Just a shame they couldn't use real mashed potato. My daughter wasn't impressed with instant mash.

Very modern looking cafe, very comfortable seating. Good selection from actual meals to snacks. Some of the other dishes looked amazing. You can use the salad bar too, or just get a coffee. Tonnes of parking too.
