Wok in Manchester

We get take out from here regularly, and we have never had a bad meal. The food is always really good quality, still hot when it gets to us. It always arrives when they say it will, or before. And they find our place when it isn't easy to find. Really like this place and recommend it

Not ordered for ages from here but tonight food was on point everything was delicious especially the egg fried rice it was so good you could have eaten it on its own😋

The food is great and as its essentially a takeaway thats good but the guy that works there is unbelievably rude, he will ignore you and has a massive attitude for absolutely no reason. The lady that works there is lovely, its just the guy and maybe if he wasn't so ridiculously rude people would return more often.

Best Chinese food in I’ve had in Manchester! Especially the gyozas! Very friendly staff also, I asked if they could season my wok for me and they were super friendly and accommodating.

One of the consistently best takeaways in Manchester in my opinion. Have been ordering since 2017 and have been seeking it ever since. Terrific.

Came in on a Saturday at 8pm 2 weeks ago. Was stared at by someone working there who looked at me like I was a bull in a China shop. 10 seconds later I was informed by another worker that they weren’t taking any orders 🤔

Asked a simple question can I change my boiled rice for egg fried rice and I'll pay extra got an attitude NO then got back home and my salt and pepper chips were half the size never have my custom again poor

Food is unreal, the best chinese we’ve had whilst in Manchester, and for amazing prices too. Staff are great and the waiting area is nice and cozy as well. We probably eat here a couple times a week

Ordered Salt and Pepper Chips and it didn't disappoint, very good portion size and price point. Service was on point, fella named Frankie went of out his way to be kind and thoughtful. Everything is halal apart from the beef and pork stuff. Which is great news. My go to Chinese place.

Great family owned restaurant with pleasant people working there. I got the vegetarian spring rolls and the chicken over sweet fire rice which was very nice. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I normally have a nice meal but tonight was not sweet & sour chicken was like water cold chips and spring rolls tasted stale has put me off ordering again

I went there yesterday 19/08/2022 for a takeaway I was the first in at 5 pm. I have been ill all last night and today the food they served me was disgusting. threw it away the stir fry noodles were Thursdays leftovers. I will not be returning. I will let my friends know not to buy from that Wok.

Wow… What can I say! What they advertise in their pictures is exactly what you get and that’s what you want! The staff and delivery driver are friendly, I honestly 1000% recommend this place, if I could give more stars I would!

Food was inedible absolutely full of oil or grease I’ve had this before it was nice this time was not happy at all lemon honey sauce was just oil full of oil I had to spit it out I’m disgusted to who made these dishes only review I’ve ever left because it was that bad

5 stars for excellent customer service. I messed up my order and ordered the wrong thing. Thought I ordered prawn toast and got prawn crackers instead. The staff said it was their fault ( it wasn't) and delivered us prawn toast at no extra charge / no delivery fee out of good will. Food is great not too spicy

Seems kind of expensive at first but you get a lot of food. If you get a main you won't be hungry at all after.

Food is freshly cooked and the veggies are cooked nicely. This take away really stands out from the rest as it looks and tastes clean. I would love for this place to do pho.

Our go to place when we fancy Chinese food. Good variety of meals and nice discounts if paying with cash. Also offer variations on your traditional meals which gives it a more modern twist than some other Chinese takeaways. Very nice staff, comfortable in side just a shame they're closed Monday and Tuesday!

Got delivery tonight and the noodles and salt and pepper fries were terrible the noodles taste like plastic and the fries were just pepper couldn't taste anything else 🙈🙈

I don't really write reviews, but after I ordered from Wok for the first time and enjoyed the food that much I felt I had to - one of the best Chinese takeaways I've had and their salt and pepper chips are something else - everyone needs to try them!

My go-to Chinese takeaway in Manchester. Food is always tasty and fresh, and they do some of the best salt and pepper chips I've ever tasted. Their online ordering system is really convenient and makes ordering food a breeze. Food is also quite well priced, the saver meals in particular offering good value.

Best chowmein and chips I've ever had. Restaurant quality food, well presented, excellent service.

I first tried the food from Wok back in January and the food was so spot on that I have been going back ever since at-least once a week. I was gobsmacked when I saw the menu they have such a big variety. Their food is freshly cooked, very tasty and well presented. I would recommend the Sai Kung dish from the Wok Signature range as it is fantastic. The owners/employees were really friendly, attentive and service overall was excellent. I seen them freshly preparing my food as the kitchen is visible rather than already have it half cooked like most of these other takeaways. I would highly recommend anyone reading this to go and experience some proper Chinese/Cantonese food hands down.

I think this place used to be something else and was a bit run down. It's now much cleaner and brighter but also a little bit more expensive. I have chicken sweetcorn soup for starters which was light and tasty not too gloopy which some places can be. Then had the salt and pepper chicken balls for main. It wasn't the cheapest nor the tastiest but it was fairly decent . I would return to try more as I have not found their best fish yet.

Love this Chinese place, best around south Manchester. Little expensive but worth it. Everything just feels nice and clean when you order it. The Ribs are amazing. Soups are great. Never had a bad meal or issue. Keep up the great work. If you love Chinese food i would defo try this one.

Food took an hour and 20 minutes to come, delivery driver was very rude, no fortune cookies, only get about 10 chips in a regular portion and rice was small too. Won't be ordering again

Dreadful. Waited 20 mins while they delivered orders to everyone behind me in the queue until I was left on my own. Gave up and left in the end. If you do bother to wait you'll basically get various flavours of MSG

Ordered chicken chow mein off their just eat website and after them messing up my order once I finally received what I thought I'd ordered. I received dry noodles in a dish with a few lumps of soggy overly processed chicken with mushrooms (which I'm allergic to) and peppers in a slimy sauce. No where on the menu did it state that the chow mein contained peppers and mushrooms. When ringing the Chinese to complain the man on the phone argued back rudely and told me it was my fault for not asking for no mushrooms and eventually hung up on me, leaving me after paying £5.30 for something I cannot eat. Do not go to this !
