Excellent food and service, talkative staff. Welcoming atmosphere

I had to leave a review as I've bin looking for a good Chinese for 2 years after moving house, an I have to say I've now found it wok 191, the food was amazing came piping hot and good service. I will 100% be ordering from here again, best Chinese I've had in a long time.

best chinese ever recommend sweet and sour and chips also they have the best chicken ever always try this chinese the best in are area by far everyone should try it

Poor showing on this evenings meal, delivered cold then have the cheek to offer 10% off next meal , no thank you , will go elsewhere in future , .

Had an excellent food experience. Phoned before I ordered as to whether they'd swap out an option in a set combination, it wasn't an issue. We did have a missed item but I phoned and subsequently checked and it hadn't appeared on the confirmation so it was possibly my error. Everything we received was absolutely lovely, including the 3 free items, which were vegetarian so everyone could enjoy. Can't complain about anything, brilliant 👏

Best Chinese food in Urmston by far. You defo get what you pay for....quality every time.

Ordered from there regularly but got chicken in black bean and mushrooms but sauce was just bland and no black bean or even chillies that's usually in the meal which is disappointing for the money you pay !!

Starter was wrong however they did bring the right one when I called them but the main wasn’t nice at all.

Ordered a take out as usual. Asked for hoisin sauce with our vegetable spring rolls instead of the chilli sauce. Chef said not possible. Ordered half a crispy duck and Japanese udon noodles with chicken and mushrooms. Told it doesn't come with mushrooms. Meal arrived, no pancakes with the duck. Phoned them up and was told definitely in the bag. After a while they agreed to spend some pancakes. Lady arrived and said that the pancakes were in the bag. Never had this problem with them before. I was thinking that they may have changed hands.won't be going there again. Ruined our evening.

Great food. Great portions. Paid for delivery but didn't like the attitude of the deliverer, who moaned about the distance he had to come, and did I know Wok191 was in Flixton. Had delivery before without problems. Put me off my food for a while.

We've eaten from here twice now, both times our order was delivered earlier than we'd been told. But more to the point the food is 5 star delicious. I would recommend the Fillet Steak in Thai Green Curry, it's the best we've had and the portions are huge. Oh and the Singapore Vermicelli is gorgeous and definitely enough for 2 people ! Once again we ordered our dinner tonight from woc 191, food was not warm, it was hot, the portions were huge but most importantly all of the food was absolutely delicious. Outstanding customer service, both attentive and kind!🌹🌹 I would definitely recommend this outlet, and we will definitely return. Thankyou Woc 191 once again.

We've ordered from Wok191 many times now, and their customer service is outstanding. Had a slight problem once, which was sorted out quickly, without any fuss at all. Food is always delicious-the portions are huge! Delivery is always quick, and when I've collected I've never had to wait - my order was ready for me straight away. I won't order Chinese from anywhere else, Wok191 are brilliant 😊

Excellent food and delivery took approx 15 minutes. I rate the chicken satay skewers and spring rolls as 10/10. It was my first order, but won't be my last.

Their Salt and Pepper special and 3 supreme XO chow mein are the best I've ever had, great delivery too. Very happy.

First time ordering online through WOK191, was not disappointed. Food was delivered on time and piping hot. I recommend the special curry, certainly not stingy with the portion and plenty of Meat, I will definitely be ordering again, Thankyou.

This is my favourite Chinese place here in Urmston and I have the bigfoodie order history to prove it :D My definite favourites would be the hot&sour soup, chicken chow mein and various fried chicken dishes, but I'm never disappointed whatever I order. Everything is always high quality - delicious and filling. Customer service in this place is unrivaled. As I usually opt for collection these are short but sweet interactions at the counter with very friendly staff members. Never had any problems (well... that's not true - one time I caused a problem by stoling some other customer's order, but thankfully the lady giving out the orders realised it and was very polite about the entire thing, even though I caused a lot of unnecessary confusion :D) All in all, I can't recommend it high enough. Like someone else in these reviews said - we are lucky here in M41 to have a place of such quality ;)

We ordered through the big foodie website that Wok 191 are affiliated with. It was stated that the food would be delivered within 60 minutes. After an hour and a quarter, I called to see where the order was. I was told that the order just needed one more item packing and it would be on its way. After a further 25 minutes, I called back to cancel the order. This is the second time this has happened. This takeaway is obviously taking too many orders that it can't cope. It is making no effort to contact customers who have been waiting too long. The order cost me £24 and now I am having to queue on the bigfoodie website to speak to someone. This evening has been ruined by Wok 191 and I'll never be returning.

Have been looking forward to a chinese take away for so many weeks and we were not disappointed this evening. A delicious meal enjoyed by all!!!

Utter disgrace rang for a delivery order and was told 45 minutes. Rang after 1 hour and told it would still be another 10 minutes. It was 5.30 on a Wednesday night so didn’t understand why such a wait. When I spoke to them they said they would do delivery for free instead of the £1.20 charge. No sorry or nothing and even put me on hold to serve a customer in a shop. Was always told to shop local but never using this Chinese again.

Lovely meal as always. High quality and huge portions. Many thanks too for the lovely Christmas surprise, very generous, I love it.

Could not recommend enough! Amazing food & service. I had a bad week last week and ordered from here for my tea, when the food arrived I realized I ordered the wrong thing, so I called up to order the correct thing and they didn't charge me! Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Parking outside shop, free delivery £10 & over, and out of all the Chinese take outs in urmston, this one is by far the best. I use it 2-3 Times a month and I'm all ways happy with the food and service..

Same standard as a city center restaurant. I wouldn’t even entertain any other Chinese takeaway in M41. Really really great food. Also the lady who takes the orders is lovely, customer service is top notch. We are lucky to have a place of this standard in Urmston. Try it! You will be happy you did.

Just a reply to Dawn Curtis below.... Hi We have replied to you on the phone and we have also replied to you via email. I will explain it again if it didn’t make sense. When you called the first time, stating that you placed an order 40 minutes ago online and that you hadn’t received your meal, our staff explained to you we have not received an order from you today. Instead, they asked if you could just tell them your order through the phone and get it sent to you straight away. On that day, we had a period of time where the signal wasn’t great. Your order was unfortunately unsuccessful. The system sends confirmation emails to customers if successful and at the end of placing an order, it should leave with a page stating an estimate time for when the order is ready. Neither was received by Dawn- therefore unsuccessful. Therefore our resolution was that we would get it cooked for you straight away so you wouldn’t have to wait any longer. We do recommend that customers call us as it is the easiest option. Otherwise make sure that you have received your confirmation email. In the past, where customers are unsure if they placed an order, they would normally give us a call to make sure. Thank you for understanding. Wok 191

I am extremely disappointed at how this company dealt with a complaint. I placed an order on their online booking system. I waited over an hour with no confirmation email. I called Wok191 to be told they didn’t have the order and it’s not their fault and what do I want them to do about it? I was also told by a very rude man I’ve not even waited that long and they can’t understand what the problem is. They then got someone who claimed to be a ‘manager’ who spoke in a very false and condensing manner. She told me I am one of ‘them customers that just like to complain’. I asked for the owners details and was lied to and was given the wrong info. I was also shouted at and told if I don’t like it phone the police! The whole experience was extremely frustrating as had they taken ownership and apologised I would have accepted this. I have since contacted the owner twice with no response! I regularly order from this takeaway but obviously my custom is not appreciated which is very disappointing. Hopefully no future customer will need to raise any concerns and if they do they will be dealt with in a very inappropriate and unprofessional manner.

Lovely food. Never ever not been 100% satisfied.

They sometimes take ages to deliver on Saturdays (for example) but the food is the best Chinese food in Urmston for sure. Chow mein is lovely and the ribs delicious.

I eat here all the time and I think the food is great. The services could not be better and if you meet a asian kid called Henry working there, be sure to give him a tip.
