Wok This Way in Dundee City

Got some chicken noodle soup with a bag of spring rolls ...the "soup" was congealed jelly with noodles and chicken 🤮 and the spring rolls were bland and undercooked. Won't be back this is the second time this place has let me down

Ordered a take away last night, got home to find out they had got the order wrong.....After telephoning the shop, they sent someone out with extra food. We don't live in Dundee and are quite a distance away. I'd like to thank them for their service... Mistakes are made , but they went over and above to rectify the mistake. Thank you .... We will be back.

Ordered for the first time tonight, Ordered a Super Meal which was great value at 13.80 for a starter, full main, full fried rice and a desert fritter. I think ordering online is where the issue came into play; had choose a sweet and sour chicken in batter as the main expecting exactly that with onion, pepper and sweet and sour sauce however, on the online menu it asks which sauce you would like as you can pick chicken, beef (etc) and just add curry, satay (etc) but no choice of sweet and sour sauce. I took a chance a picked satay hoping I would be tucking into a sweet and sour with onions and peppers and may or may not end up with a sauce. Unfortunately, what came was a tub of satay sauce and a bag of chicken balls 👎 me and my partner were starving so we just ate it anyway. Satay sauce was banging, lovely flavour and nice bit of heat! Rice was good, chicken balls were crispy and fresh! Salt and pepper hashbrowns were an interesting choice, I would have them again and on top it all came about 15 mins after ordering! My one complaint is that we absolutely did not receive the main we ordered and were expecting. I hope the restaurant can look into this issue with ordering online and either add sweet and sour as sauce option or reword things when it comes to the Super Meal and it's promise of a sweet and sour main.

Dreadful takeaway. My last two visits were a disaster. On both occasions I ordered a King Prawn Szechaun. First visit I was given some kind of noodle dish. On both visits, I took the food home to eat. I wasn't overly bothered at this point Second time I at least got the prawns. 5 pawns, bulked up by three times as much, almost raw, onions swimming in a bed of thin plain curry sauce - definitely not Szechaun. And bizarrely, no rice. This time I took the food back to be nastily told that I should have checked before I left..... no apology, no attempt to rectify. While I was there, another customer came in to complain there was no can of coke in his order. He got the same brush off. If you do use this business, check and check again that you've got what you ordered before leaving. Better - avoid completely.

Wok this way has been more disappointing..the food I received was undercooked the chips where disgusting and sauce look.like water down and of soap. Other components to food where very under down which I threw it away in bin. I have contact them with this and no contact back very disappointed it used be a really good takeaway before new owners took over. It's bad.

Genuinely don’t think I’ve had anything so greasy before - the curry spring rolls… I think I could honestly have shallow fried something with the amount of grease that came off them tbf. The chow mein was seriously bland, don’t think there was even salt or soy sauce on it. Very disappointing as this was a treat & I completely wasted food & money.

Last 2 orders have been terrible , first one the food looked like it had been cooked in old oil , the rice was a dark brown , 2nd one was greasy and flavorless, the chicken was rubbery and bland. both orders were binned as uneatable

It's getting a bit expensive every time I go it's a different price. You ask for chips and gravey, and they give u barely any gravey, so the cost is going up but getting less

Just came here for some food, the staff member, "kelly", was very kind, helpful and went out of her way to help me! The food was good and relatively inexpensive!

Had salt and pepper special chow mein last week it was really good ordered it again last night it didn't even taste the same don't know if they got the order mixed up but should be a basic thing to get right next time I'll need to check in the shop as the basic chow mein was tasteless

Not very tasty, but you got a lot of meat! But for simple fried noodle, 8.3 pounds are experience

Just ordered for the first time. I did order at 9:20pm on a weeknight. So maybe there staff was crippled or just simply retarded? Crispy beef.... Chewy soggy & not fresh Crispy Chicken balls... soggy and not freah Lemon chicken.... 5 stars! Not crispy but fresh. Rice and chow mein was 3 star. Over alli would order again but would confirm that all food be cooked fresh. Mark

Everytime without fail i order from here and it’s constantly the wrong food and im paying for stuff i don’t even want to eat? learn to read your own menu waste my money everytime i buy from here

Food was cold tonight and the rice was a bit dry normally its fantastic but not tonight

Visited tonight for the first time in ages however it will definitely be our last. Prices have increased considerably and when commented on this was informed it was due to the cost of living crisis which is unfortunately affecting us all ! I was even charged 10p for the bag which I felt was a bit below the belt ! Ordered Lemon Chicken - chicken was like rubber and definitely not in a lemon sauce but a sweet and sour sauce … special chow mein was greasy and lacked taste. Pocket £16.10 lighter .. wish we had not fancied chinese tonight and had our usual amazing Indian further along Charleston Drive which has not increased prices and has remained loyal to its customers !!!

Not the best, fast service so they get a star for that but food isn't great.

Have used this takeaway for years but today, chicken was like rubber. Unfortunately will now have to vote with my feet!

My family really enjoyed our latest meal, I found the chicken slightly too salty for my taste but enjoyed it as well. Didn't have to wait too long either so this may be our go to Chinese takeaway.

Went in and asked for chips and chicken came out really hot and tasty great customer service felt really welcome defo will be back

Bitchin' ribs. Just stellar. Everything else we've ordered there is also very good, but we'll always order 2 or 3 portions of ribs (I love the salt & pepper, hub loves the Peking sauce).
