I've tried nearly all of the Chinese takeaways in Laindon and Basildon, and this by far the best. The satay sauce is the proper stuff I've been looking for; dark brown, savoury, nutty, warm heat, thin layer of oil on top kind of satay sauce. It's in a totally different league to the gloopy, overly sweet, pale brown greasy slop that other places seem to serve up. I'm really not sure why other reviews suggest the portion sizes are small, the food is served in standard plastic takeaway containers, the same size as every other Chinese takeaway in the area. I highly-recommend the food from Wok 'n' Roll and will be returning here many times again in future.

This has always been our Chinese takeaway of choice because the amount of good Chinese takeaways in Laindon is seriously lacking. The last few meals from there have been appalling. Taste is so fatty and texture is greasy. Really gone downhill. Won't be ordering from there again

Not good, portions are tiny and everything tasted bland. Crispy duck was inedible, just fatty mush.

Anyone that goes there should try the mini duck spring rolls with hoisin sauce, and the golden satay noodles are to die for 👌

As always the food is consistently top notch, cooked and served buy real lovely people. I've never minded the high costs as the portion sizes have always been very good, however unfortunately in switching over to cardboard boxes the portion sizes have significantly decreased which is very disappointing. Regretfully I will now be thinking twice about returning which is a real shame after all these years. I really hope they address this as the food really is excellent.

The best takeaway in town. I am their customer for a few years now and I just realised something. These people will do anything for their customers, anything to offer the best food and they never let me down. I don't usually post reviews but they definitely deserve it. Not much meat on the ribs I had and the chips were hard. However, overall a good meal and I'll visit again.

My work colleague Dave brought our order into work, I had the beef satay chow mein, and I have to say this place does the best satay sauce I have ever had the pleasure to eat. The beef was cooked to perfection along with the noodles and vegetables. Will be asking Dave do this again for us. A big thank you from us at London Energy.

I went here to collect a takeaway for my girlfriend, the lady food attendant was very polite and helpful with a good sense of humour and a smiley face. My girlfriend assures me that the food is very nice and has good flavour and are sizeable portions, as she has bought Chinese food from here several times previously. We will certainly be going back here again!

We love this place usually. New year's eve food cost me a fortune and was soggy, limp, cold and disgusting. It got binned and I will not use here again.

It was my first time ordering from here , unfortunately the pancakes didn’t arrive with the shredded duck, we are disappointed. I tried calling but can’t get through.

Great tasting food at a reasonable price! If you use their website you can get 10% off as apposed to ordering on just eat etc. Who charge extra for using a card. Menu selection is very good and the box meals they provide are excellent!

*Updated* The food was pretty tasty but unfortunately we had the wrong order delivered, after finally getting through to them on a busy Saturday night they were genuinely apologetic and offered a refund.

Ordered hot Singapore noodles chips and a curry sauce tasted ok when i was eating it but then i was hit with stomach cramps witch led to being sick repeatedly its not my first time using wok and roll but it will be my last previous experiences was good though in all fairness

First time using Wok n Roll today, very impressed with the food. Tasty, hot and generous portions. You can also see the kitchens and your food cooking, lovely and clean! Ordered via the phone, arrived to collect, made payment and was asked to wait in my vehicle while it was finished packing. Brought it too my 5mins later. Delicious ❤️
