Great food for here always loving this chinese :) Unfortunately after this evening I had to revise my review for this place. They do have a new member of staff who was very inexperienced but also very curious and lovely. I have been ordering food here for a few years, I have always enjoyed the food. I always order the same food every time. Unfortunately the new member of staff got my order wrong. I phoned to explain this and was told to hold on whilst she spoke to the owner. After several twos and throws was told I can have the food on a delivery with a charge also with delivery charges They had already spolit the order cause I didn't get to have my main. The reaction made it worse. What a shame always love this place but will not be returning

Used this place for at least 8 years Changing the review that I gave Previously , food is ok completely overpriced now more expensive than other chinese Particular to mention If you gonna put the price up on chicken, Fried Rice to nearly £7 might be nice to have a decent amount of chicken in there.Rather than the tiny amount cut up. You've now lost my business.

I’ve started using this Chinese regularly because it’s the closest secondly because it’s delivers and thirdly because the food is always good normally have the yuk sung crispy aromatic duck and a couple of pancake rolls. It always comes on time. It’s always fresh hot and tasty. I can’t vote. It would recommend it to anybody if you’re looking for Chinese Takeaway in the area.

The food was excellent and delicious and we will make sure and recommend this chienese takeaway shop in future

The worse chinese I've ever eaten, ordered chicken curry or should I say lumps of jelly in a curry sauce, totally not edable, how you can get away with serving that is beyond me, I'm putting it back in the container and returning it

A superb Chinese, ordered online for the first time with the Wok Inn, arrived piping hot with generous portions, food was delicious throughout. There was a small issue with the order initially which they resolved swiftly and professionally. Staff were polite on the phone and at the door. We will be coming back! I recommend you try them out.

1.5 hours to deliver food. Cold. Will not order from here again.

Ordered through food hub website and the order came stone cold. Chicken curry still frozen in the middle, no lettuce for yuksung, sweet and sour chicken cold, chicken chow mein cold and my partner had to reheat the rice. Prawn toast was cold aswell. Partner rang the takeaway place and explained that the whole meal was cold and they said to contact food hub for refunds. When asking for a refund the takeaway place said that we had only complained about the chicken curry which was not the case. We spend £40 and had the chicken curry refunded when the whole order was stone cold. Will NOT be ordering from there EVER AGAIN!!! I do not recommend to anyone.

Always good food quick tasty would recommend to any body a few years since I wrote this review and it’s gone down hill to the point I’ve stopped ordering. Food rubbish they don’t care if you complain and it’s dirty.

Good food , Good prices and nice staff.

Called 20 minutes after food was due to be told the driver had left, food arrived 30 minutes later (takeaway is 10 minutes from the house!). Food was luke warm, poor quality, not at all enjoyable, will not go back nor would I recommend!

First time we have used the Wok Inn Takeaway. We were really impressed. The portion size was more than ample and the chicken was very tender. The delivery time was within the hour. We will definitely be ordering from them again.

Food was plain cold tastless, I called them up to get a refund only to be told to go through food hub. The issue noodles and chicken were plain had no sauce or seasoning and was cold curry sauce was congealed. When I spoke to the lady I was told the manager had said it cause I had no veg in my chow mein and that why there was no sauce which i have ordered this before and its been ok and that the curry sauce was like that cause its been in a takeaway bag for a while., She gave me the number for food hub, I had a further 2 calls of wok Inn while i was waiting for food hib chat.Second call was to ask me if we have touched the food which we had put in on plates and my son was trying to eat it, She then told me the manager said if we didn't touch it they could of swapped it...The second call was to offer me a free take away next time I ordered from them which I won't be, So now food hub can't refund me cause the wok Inn won't do it.

The food was great but we got a call (after missing quite a few calls due to watching a movie) from the wok inn to say that the delivery driver was on his way back to the restaurant because he had been waiting outside our hotel for 15 minutes trying to call us but there was no answer. If we wanted our food we would have to pay the £3.50 delivery fee for the driver to come back out to us. This was at 18:15 we ordered the food to be delivered for 18:45 so we weren't expecting the food at 18:00. I told the restaurant this and they said that they forgot to check the delivery time and apologised so I asked if we still had to pay the delivery fee as it wasn't our fault to which the wok inn told me that I did still have to pay for the delivery as it was their policy. I don't belive I should have had to pay for the delivery fee as it wasn't my fault the food came 45 minutes earlier than the time it was ordered for. If I had put ASAP on the order and it arrived 45 minutes early I would have been happy but I asked for 18:45 for a reason and now I'm out £3.50 for something that the restaurant have said is their fault. The food was still warm tho and tasty so no complaints with the chef.

Ordered takeaway from food hub website food arrived cold and had to go in the microwave. Quality of beef in black been very poor sauce was like water chicken chow mein had hardly any chicken in ordered on 25/11/ 2023

A bit to much saltin the food. but fast deluvery

We have used the Wok for many years then the standarsd dropped dramatically. We decided to give them one more chance. But after receiving raw duck that was not crispy. Rediculously small portions for the money in comparison to a similar takeaway in Studley. The standard of food preperation is abysmal. Forgotten orders in deliveries. The manager told me himself "I don't care". Sub standard all round. Will never buy from the Wok again. Avoid at all costs.

Worse £32 we have spent on a take away chicken dry/hard and the chicken curry was watery

Having read other peoples reviews I was pleasantly surprised by the quickness and the standard of food I ordered we had sweet and sour prawn balls pineapple and prawn fried rice, chips curry sauce and pancake rolls and all were piping hot and cooked to perfection absolutely no trouble in recommending this takeaway 👍

They where rude and unprofessional. My food was cold, old and they didn't give me much options but 10% off the next order. I didn't even get to talk to a manager as if I'm gonna order off them again spent £25 and got three 3in 1 trays and some salt a pepper chicken and It was all cold,so cold the curry had a skin on top of it trust me when I say they will be sorry they dealt with this order and this issue might as well close down the business!

All would be ok, except the simple fact.. All the time im ordering same food and every time it taste different.. Addin cashew nuts(obviously extra charge), but no everytime this was added.. And last time it was just "top" ordered "wondering dragon" and received "four season".. But food was very nice thou..

I would rate this no stars. They served me ants and would only give me a part refund. Do not eat there. See pictures for evidence.

probably the worst Chinese take away I have visited in my 49 years. 1 visit was bad, but thought as it was late I'll try again. I ordered Kung po beef which was more like a spicey gravey and sweet and sour pork balls which ended up meatballs in batter. seriously a take away to avoid

Seemed to have gone down in quality in recent times but I tried it again in March 2023 and had a really enjoyable meal so I am going to use them again

Awful Chinese tonight from Wok Inn, really wouldn't recommend their pork in batter balls because instead of using actual Pork they use sausage meat. Never seen a Chinese cut corners like that - completely uneatable and its all in the bin.

Consistently good! - in my opinion the best Chinese take away in Redditch - I've never had a bad meal. Always hot, fresh and totally delicious. The delivery drivers are always friendly too. 100% recommended.

Waited hour half for it to be delivered, We asked for 2 large curry and rice definitely wasn't a large,all they did was leave the chicken bigger, also think they changed the chefs as it tasted way to spicey didn't enjoy it chicken didnt taste like chicken. Don't blame the delivery driver either should employ more delivery drivers

Used the wok for years. Very happy. Value for money, good food, good service, good prices. Last 12 to 18 months…… terrible. Prices up. Food portions down by 2/3 rds. All sauces so processed now. Taste terrible. Noodles one week …. Inch long…. dregs from end of packet? So disappointed and being local, the wok has lost my custom 100%.

Wok Inn was clean and tidy also the food was good, staff were friendly professional manner.

Had chicken and prawn chow main lastnight and prawn crakers which was nice for less than what chicken chow main was tonight.wanted £7.00 that's so wrong

If I could give 0 stars I would was by far the worse food let alone Chinese I’ve ever ordered went into the shop to order it was ready in about 2 minutes which I thought was odd . When eating my food every single item was disgusting the sweet and sour chicken balls were either microwaved or was old chicken and as for the sauce I might aswell of had a pot of tomato ketchup . The rice was stale the chicken curry again the chicken dry the peas stale and was overloaded with onions the sauce had no taste . Don’t waste your money

Always used wok inn and last 2 takeaways are awful maybe change of chef well has to be food completely changed we have same order and its completely different and vile . And maybe change of management. Never again

Been having food from here for years, always real nice food prompt delivery and hot when it arrives. I haven't had a Chinese for around a year started again recently and the food is no where near as good as it used to be and delivery takes well over an hour, I've had 2 now and that's enough. all I can think is it has new owners and new chef's, the standard all round has dropped dramatically to what it used to be won't order from here again.

Absolutely awful 1 & 1/2 hrs on a Sunday evening (booked at 5pm) Given a time of approximately an hour but hopefully 45 minutes, rang up after an hour 10 to be told it's on its way 30 minutes later food turns up and it's at best Luke warm Horrendous and staff don't care when you speak to them about it Do not eat here

Collected my meal. Cantonese beef. I got a box of grizzly beef strips indercooked onion and carrot in a overpowering sauce. Inedible and therefore a waste of money

Without question, this was the worst meal I have ever had the misfortune of ordering. We were regulars here a few years ago so, for a family birthday celebration, we decided to try an old favourite. First of all, part of the order was missing. I called to inform them, the lady on the telephone was lovely, polite and helpful-the management/ owners... Not so much. Heard nothing but shouting and was then asked if I was sure the items were missing! After negotiation, it was agreed a driver would call to us to bring a refund. After dishing up the food, we found we had been sent the wrong food! - and what was correct, was burnt and greasy beyond belief. Called back and again, the lady on the telephone was lovely. Had to explain in depth the ingredients in the food we had been sent because the manaagement/ owners refused to believe we were telling the truth! The poor delivery driver has just come back to us to bring the refund for the missing items. We have had to bag up the incorrect food for him to take back for it to be inspected to prove its wrong! Utterly unbelievable. Fingers crossed he returns with the refund as we've no intention of going out to argue the toss in the middle of a pandemic. I will, however, continue to call until the issue is revolved. Can't stress highly enough how wonderful the driver and the lady answering the telephone were. Positive feedback ends there though, I'm afraid. Please do not waste your money or order as a meal for a celebration - you will be sorely disappointed and more than a wee bit annoyed! Only leaving one star as its impossible to leave none!!

Me and my partner decided to stop off here and get a Chinese last night as there wasn't much of a que, we had a pork chow mein, sesame seed prawn toast and chilli and salt spare ribs between us.... What a BIG mistake! We are both in agony, cramped up with the same stomach pains today and constantly running to the toilet... We won't be eating from here again!! No wonder there was no que!

Regrettably, for the first time after many years I have had to endure the day after the night before. Normally the food is great but the bout of food poisoning I have experienced Saturday was painful and has put me off the chilli garlic chicken for some time to come and has had an effect on our takeaway choices. Chinese is off the menu! It's all down to the care and attention when preparing food. If you can't get this simple order right, where else is the detail to hygiene being flouted. Not happy!!

Coming home this evening from seeing our new Granddaughter, we decided we couldn't be bothered to cook a meal and decided to try this takeaway for the first time. I truly wished we hadn't. It was diabolical! All the food was grossly overcooked, with the sesame prawn toast being like charcoal and the fried rice indescribably bad. For a Chinese takeaway the prices were up at the higher end of the scale whereas they should be at the lowest end. Extremely disappointing is the kindest thing I can say!

We had a takeaway from here last night and it was excellent. The young lady who served me was lovely and polite, the food was prepared quickly and it was delicious. Even my mother, who is the worlds fussiest woman loved it! Will definitely eat from here again.

Delicious freshly hand cooked food, full of flavour. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I tend to order and collect in person, be mindful it's cash only for payments.

This is my go to Chinese takeaway. I do not go anywhere else. As Chinese takeaways go this is my favourite hardly ever have any issues. Food is always hot and taste great.

Had a chew mein last night and found what looks like a pen top and the sweet and sour chicken coating was soft and not crunchy the sour was runny .

The food was so bland,the food was not hot and the food was dry. The food was rushed because normally it's a 6 minute wait but it was only 3 minutes but the food had no colour. Went here 3 weeks ago for beef in black bean had 1 piece of meat in it then went again tonight 24th August ordered a special chow mein got it home no prawns in it so I phoned them and asked wot u get in special they said chicken pork beef and prawns I said for the second time my food is wrong I've got no prawns in mine basically they didn't won't to no I asked can I speak to manager to be told he was cleaning and would not speak to me 15 mins before this when I was there they was sat on sides eating food basically if u order from here don't expect what u ordered when u get home terrible service

Burnt food and they ask you to get ir out the bin to show them when you have sraped 5 dishes in the bin and 3 out of 5 are burnt and you use them all the time and this is the first time you have had to complain but there only excuse is we are bizzy gutted this is a treat for us

I have used this shop for years tonight they missed off curry sauce and noodles from my order, I rang to explain, they had the cheek to tell me if I want the missing items I will have to pay for delivery!! This is one long customer who won’t be using the wok inn again. How rude!!!

Fantastic food always delivered hot

Got exactly what I wanted this time, & how I like it. Must have changed the wok cooks again.Not been for months , as said myself I'd never use the place again.

We ordered from here for the first time and we were not disappointed. The food was hot and tasted really nice. Only thing I will say is that they use a lot of onion. We would definitely try them again. We couldn't fault the sweet & sour chicken Cantonese style, special fried rice and chips :)

Took half an hour to eventually place order. Waited a further 2.5 hours for the food to turn up When it eventually turned up, the order was wrong, it was cold and worst of all one of the dishes had s blue plaster in it and another smelt like vomit. Would not recommend visiting this place unless you are a hygiene inspector

I am very upset with the food it was vile and they forgot my prawn crackers. And my food was cold. And asked to speak to manger and they said he was at a wedding not and my boyfriend had 4 ribs when I asked for a large not good don’t order from here

We have used this take away before and it was great . Clearly something has changed ! We waited over 1 hour for a simple order and when it arrived it was disgusting . Sweet and sour sauce like wall paper paste . Noodles with clumps of unknown powder and special fried rice you had to construct yourself - rice in one tub and extra ingredients in another!! Totally horrible . Please don't waste your money .

Very quick service friendly and helpful staff loads of meals to choose from menu offers delivery service to your house or u can pickup your orders.

Poor delivery times and food dry. always forget the free gift of prawn crackers. driver said it's down to management and to be fair drivers always offer to bring some back but no point half an hour after you had your meal. would of given it no stars but not an option. I have waited up to 90 minutes for delivery and when you chase they blame the drivers who are not to blame and always polite and courteous. they need a new employer as they don't deserve to have yo deal with the complaints as not their fault

Have been ordering from here for few years now but tonight was definitely the last time. After repeating 3 times the first item of my order (vegetable spring rolls) and the woman who answered saying sweet chili sauce (I didn’t mind since it’s not always easy over the phone to understand) she put the phone down on me. I have given her 10 minutes as she confirmed my number prior to that but clearly she had no intention of taking my order so I ordered from Summer Palace and they made my day. Both food and service provided by Summer Palace were outstanding.

terrible.... waiting over 2 hours for my take away and when it finally arrived ther was a meal missing. when I rang up to complain the rude girl on the phone said it wasn't her problem and put the phone down. terrible never use again

My meal arrived and the chips were completely inedible they smelt disgusting were full of grease and looked like they had just been sitting in a fryer for a week cold and vile so had no option but to cook my own meaning none of us could eat our meal together. extremely disappointed

I have used the wok inn since it’s opening year in year and I suspect every time the franchise changes hands the food has declined in quality....... I have just returned home with my recent purchase to find the worst food offering I have ever encountered from anywhere it was disgusting so I’m afraid that I’m done with Wokin YUK!!!

Good Food Hot Good Service Would Use Again

We’ve ordered from here lots of times and is normally nice with quick delivery. Last few times they have missed items and tonight was a total joke! An item was missed meaning one of us couldn’t have anything, I asked for 1 fresh chips and 1 fresh rice to go along with the missed item but was assured the missed item would be with us in 3 mins. After ten minutes they still tried to promise me the one missed item only! They came with my money back eventually, but by the time I’d phoned 100 times (engaged all the time) mine was cold and inedible too. Two hours passed and now we have to cook something, thanks for a great evening 😡

Tut tut tut. Not happy with these boiis. I wanted a nice dingy Chinese and had expectations for a nice evening. Little did I know i had set these expectations too high. Disappointed is not expressive enough to even describe how betrayed I felt upon delivery (delivery was fast though. Congratulations on that fast boy you have) I ordered some chips which DID NOT COME. WHY? WHY? We also ordered chicken chowmein and received REGULAR chowmein. Excuse me good sir. Not nice. Would not be ordering from here again. Good day. Much disappoint spicy boiz
