Wok & Go in Leeds

Came here on a whim, portion size is massive and the meals are very well priced. The staff are lovely and on the whole the meal is very nice.

Cold food,raw vegetables,more noodles and just some meat prawns and 2 small broccoli,rude manager since we start talking she accused the driver all the time,and didn’t care about the fault inside the box,that’s the second time I bought for them and the service is always the same,I hope never ordering for them again,and the manager should respect and give more attention to customer,.congratulations for a bad food provided.

We went to Wok and Go in white rose as they had a sign outside saying 10% off for students and we’d not eaten here before. We ordered our ‘create your own’ boxes and upgraded to have a small side and drink. The lady behind the till wasn’t very friendly and was very quiet. This came to £15.30 for 2 regular noodle boxes, 2 sides and a drink each. The order came out wrong and when my partner took it back with the receipt to tell them that it was missing the chicken, the lady started talking out of her ass and wouldn’t give him the extra chicken we had paid for. My partner came back in a mood and wouldn’t tell me what she had said so can only imagine she was rude to him. You get 2 spring rolls for the side and they are very hot but don’t taste of much. The boxes mainly consisted of noodles and we’re bland. Once I’d finished eating it I felt sick as it wasn’t very nice. We won’t be returning to Wok and Go again as it is very expensive for what you get and bland tasting food, plus the lady behind the counter was rude and very unfriendly.

If you like flavoured noodles come here. The large box is nothing but noddles hardly any meat or vegetables or anything you would expect in wok style food. Their profits must be amazing. What they forget is repeat business is where the profit is. Serving all noodles no meat no veggies bean sprouts etc cuts out the expensive ingredients but means customers feel ripped off. I feel this is poor value for money, poor nutritional value at least they are consistent. I won’t be visiting ever again. I will make it a point of conversation to ensure I don’t recommend friends to come here.!!!

Were in whiterose this was in big eating section. Like noodles so thought a good idea.not great seating though.anyway i chose small combo box with mixed meat and egg noodles and daughter chose medium thin noodle with vegan duck. Wgen ordering the kitchen area you can see through to kitchen which was interesting to them prepare food and looked clean area. Although man cooking did not wear head wear. We found a seat in area and then got our food. My combo box had lovely taste not too salty all mixed meat was ok apart from a very chewy fatty piece.food stuffed well into box worth it. My daughter thin noodles with vegan duck had soya sauce added but made it too salty.i did say to mention to shop but she added soya just too salty. So if we go back we wont order soya saly. Nice food. But seating area not enough and see why people take away or eat ouside . Glad we tried it and probably will try again.

1st time here, the starters are good, the main I had was bland and could do with more filling rather than a box full of noddles.

We visited Whiterose Wok n Go on Friday and although the food was great where I had chicken with black bean and for once u ate the lot it was great hit packed full of sauce and plenty soft chicken, my husband had a regular hot box with should come with assorted meat and a hot taste of chilli sauce, however this is how He remembers it from last time as the meat was source intact he had a hinge piece of beef gristle and besides that just a few pieces of the other assorted meats in total, he is used to spicy food and he said that I could have comfortably eaten his meal and I am a korma level spicy food eater. The time from paying to getting food was quite long and there is no longer soy sauce provided which fir an establishment providing this sort of food is taken fir granted as an accompaniment......why? We would go back again I would have the same and my husband well I am not sure that it’s nit put him off a bit so....... ? My meal would be 4 star but has been reduced for the lack of spice in the ‘hot box’

Needed something filling and vegan for my lunch so decided to opt for a hot box of noodles. The service was actually really nice and quick, however I did ask for no broccoli and I got broccoli so because it was to takeaway I've had to sit picking it out and I really hate broccoli.

Last three times I have been at about 8.30pm when they should be open til 9pm they have refused to serve me and have been in the process of shutting early. Other times have been ok, often they have run out of some ingredients if you want something in the evening.

Nice food, hot, fresh and tasty. The staff were pleasant enough. Not sure why people are giving such poor reviews. I would recommend that you try this place for yourself. We were very happy with both the food and the staff.

The staff who served me were rude and dismissive when asked questions, service was poor as took a lengthy amount of time for one meal when the place was empty, my food was 90% grease 10% noodles which they overloaded with sauce that felt gritty and disgusting in my mouth. Had to pour out the grease from the plastic container my food was in in order to make it consumable. Used to love this place however this most recent experience has put me off for good! Waste of time and money, wouldn’t recommend.

Busiest I've ever seen it at the White Rose but only 2 staff on, one going between kitchen and back room, one between kitchen and till. Long wait to get served and then for food - at least I got myself a refill from the drinks machine since they clearly had no time to tell me off! Service here used to be fast and you got a pager to let you know when the food was ready, why get rid of that? After a wait I had another wait just to get my food passed over the counter because I wanted to sit with my family and had missed when it was first called out. Shame, hope they improve. 3 stars for food quality and staff doing what they could do in the circumstances I guess.

We as a family have been longong to visit wok & go for a lomg time and finally we were able to... the lady Taking the orders didnt know anything about the food being served no allergy information was provide by her when asked... The cooking is in a glass kitchen to prevent the customer being hy with hot oil which we thought was great as we enjoyed being able to watch these cooks with such skill The food was bland and nothing short of a disappointment this is basically what i cook at home nothing more nothing less and i feel i could have done a better job! The food was very oily to point halfway through the meal the oil on the noodles is so thick you lose what little flavour you started with. Been looking forward to the visit for a while and we was seriously let down but such a disappointing meal i for sure do not believe its worth £8 each person 2/5 and the 2 is for the the experience of watching them cook

love the concept but we waited ages for our food, the food was tasteless and lacked veg apart from some frozen carrots. Paid for a drink but wasn't given it, they were funny about getting it when I went back to request despite it being on my receipt!!! no refills allowed at the drinks machine so why is it self service?!

O came here a month ago and it wasn't nice at all but thought I'd give it another go. Well what can I say not completely tasteless like before but still not much. The sweet and sour taste was just a tiny hint but nothing to shout about. Everything was cooked nice but just not much taste, I don't know if I will try it again tho after 2 disappointing meals.

I have around 2 Wok and Go’s a week, I love it so much, so much that I was disappointed when the town sites closed!

Had to tell Maxine twice what I wanted as she didn't listening very annoying! Had to ask for peanuts myself but should come in my food anyway. Jewellery on with stone's big no no with food!!!

I come here fairly often for lunch and always think the same thing. The food is great... When I eventually get it. I appreciate that it's cooked fresh but sometimes it's the same person who takes my order who cooks and serves the food. Its more than a one person job. And one time the chef left the place while I was waiting for my food. Never seen that before! But when I get it and eat it I do genuinely really enjoy it. I just hope they improve the service side of things.

Went in today for some lunch and almost instantly noticed that there wasn’t much of any staff! When placing my order, I came to find out there wasn’t much stock left so obviously I asked to speak to a manager to complain!

Just visited to be told that there’s only 2 members of staff working. Neither are chefs! How can this place manage with no chefs?. Decided not to order any food and went to McDonlads we’re I know there are qualified chefs.

I’ve been a couple of times to this restaurant, now usually they have someone to cook the food, this time they had two members of staff on that wasn’t fully trained to cook the food, no manager what so ever but this wasn’t much of a shock, since every time I’ve come in I’ve never seen any sort of manager!

Absolutely disgusting service today!! Will not be returning again, an hour wait when theres nobody there. Could make it myself in that time. One young lad told me that this was his first week and was left on his own. Very discusting manager skills seemed no training has been provided. how can this business stay open?

I've been here a fair few times and always been highly satisfied, until that is last night. I ordered the sweet and sour noodles with extra babycorn. Now everything was cooked nicely but no taste to it at all. The many times i have had this meal the colour has been red and full of flavour, but this time no colour and very bland. The chefs behind the counters were all new and not the normal ones, not sure if this has anything to do with it. Also all 3 of the lad had gone on their breaks at the same time and we had to wait a while before any of them actually appeared. I was highly disappointed esp after having lovely meals from here. Will I return? Maybe but not for a while.

Came on a lunch time. Took our order knowing that a customer before us had order toons of boxes ! most people have a hour for lunch. I would of gone elsewhere if id of known. So after waiting half an hour we got told there was no chicken, teriyaki, prawn crackers or spring rolls. Waited another 15 minutes and still we where waiting for one box. Arrive back to my office to hungry colleges with less than 5 minute to eat. Receive one less dumpling after been advised there was suppose to be five and where burnt. There was nothing in our boxes but noddles and scaps of vegtable and fatty and chewy pork. Never stepping a foot in a Wok and Go again !

Tuve una mala experiencia hace varios meses, pero les di otra oportunidad hoy. . . gran error. . . primeras 3 cosas que pedimos que no tenían. . . . . . . solo un cocinero a la hora del almuerzo quiso decir qeues y retrasos, de hecho todo el personal parecía perdido en su propio mundo. . en realidad compré 2 cajas singa. . . absolutamente menos que bueno un par de piezas grandes de carne 2 "x 1" que solía ser tiras 4 langostinos 3 tiras de zanahoria 3 brócoli muy, muy pequeño, sabor suave. . . . . las canciones solían ser brillantes y podían ser admiradas. . . por desgracia ya no

Para la comida rápida, ciertamente tomó su tiempo. 15 minutos de espera para nuestra caja de tofu, podría haber caminado literalmente a Sainsbury's, comprado un wok y los ingredientes y esperé a que el sol fríera la comida en ese momento.

Algunos de los platos no están disponibles en algunos tamaños, aunque se enumeran en el menú. No porque se hayan acabado, sino porque "no hacen ese tamaño". El personal de Surly, servicio lento en un momento tranquilo, precios altos como es normal en un centro comercial. El aspecto y bancos para llevar están bien. buena comida sabrosa al final.

Staff were very rude!! Miscommunication and slacking alot, disappointed with the service and food, definitely will not be returning again.

Bobbed in yesterday to try Wok And Go food and I must say the food was delicious. Big portion size at a very reasonable price. Got chatting to one of the staff whilst my food was being cooked in front of me and he was explaining he has just started managing the shop. Doing a great job! Will be back.

The cashier Maxine really helped me in deciding what to get from the menu, I'm very indecisive and she was very patient with me, the place looked very clean and maxine came up and asked if my food was ok

Went for a Monday treat. Service was appalling, Jordan looked like he’d rather be anywhere else, food oily, too much soya sauce used so really salty and they kitchens not very clean

Ordered the sweet chilli classic box medium size but was surprised at how much I got that I had to leave some of it as very filling. The food was piping hot which makes a change for fast food. The flavour was lovely. Had a good mix of beef chicken and pork. Seating area was clean. Would definitely visit again but more likely choose the smallest box as they really pack a lot in.

My first visit, I called in for a quick lunch with a number of work colleagues who have eaten here before. It’s not my usual type of eatery but thought I’d give it Try. I had the Black Bean Hot Box which I thoroughly enjoyed. Fast service as you’d expect.

Always cooked to order with a good range of options. You can tailor your dish re noodles/sauce/content etc. Staff are friendly. The loyalty scheme is good if you're a frequent flyer.

That visiting wok n go was a taste sensation. I opted for the combo box which was a little under £7.00 !! What I got from that was a very tasty noodle dish similar to a chow mien. The kitchen didn’t look the cleanest of places and the queuing system soon backs up, seating can be difficult to get seated, especially on a Saturday daytime. Overall I would come back but I would say it’s a little pricey for what they offer.

I visited Wok&Go; on my lunch break from work. I have a local shop that is similar but far more superior to this. Everything seemed to be overcooked and had that "over cooked" taste to it also. I was waiting rather a long time for my food (takeaway) which I was rather shocked at as the food here is stir fried. The kitchen was a complete mess where the chefs were not actively cleaning and I can imagine that a lot of cross contamination could occur. It is safe to say that I will not be returning and will stick to what I know as there are far more superior eating establishments in the vicinity of this place.

I couldn’t believe my eyes yesterday night when I visited wok&go; in white rose shopping centre. I am a vegetarian and i was in the queue looking at the chefs make the food when I saw one of the chefs pick the meat with his hands then straight to the veg n picked the veg up with the same gloves. As I got to the counter I asked the lady working does the chef use the same gloves to cook meat and pick veg up ? The simple answer in any food establishment should be no as it’s a food hygiene issue the answer I got was errs I don’t no I think so but I am not sure honestly I was put of my food I got my order and chucked it in the bin as I knew the veg wasn’t even safe for a vegetarian to eat never going back there again and I highly recommend any vegetarians to avoid it

Great service and friendly staff, lovely food at reasonable prices. Nipped in today to grab some food having never been here before or even aware this place existed, definitely retuning next time I'm in town

Just had a Hot and Spicy Wrap for £5.25 from Leeds White Rose.

Glad I didn’t read some of the reviews here before trying this place as may have put me off. Ordered Pad Thai and it was delicious. Freshly made, very hot and tasty. Chicken was breast chunks and was lovely. I had it with fried rice and portion size good. Order taker was friendly. Would I come back? 100% yes. Tuesdays was 2 for 1 meals. £6.25 which I was happy to pay just for me, but would have been amazing value if 2 people, as price would have been the same.

I love this kind of place as it makes a good, simple evening meal. However, this place seems to be staffed by a bunch of disinterested teenagers who can't get a simple order right. I've been three times:

Me and my boyfriend visited for the first time and we were both very happy with our food.

Was amazing a few months ago and then in the last couple of months they've gone from letting chefs cook to now having pre made sauces which are awful, greasy, salty lack of freshness.

I was shopping by myself so didn't want to sit down to eat at the restaurants in the white rose.

Had the Tai Green noodles and it was vile. Ended up with stomach pains and frequent toilet visits!! The bottom of the container was full of black nasty looking oil. My other half also ate from there and became ill

Went along for a quick stop as me and my partner was hungry. And everything was spot on. Service was amazing , friendly and helpful even advising me about sauces with fish, ( I'm a vegetarian) and my partners who doesn't like sea food was advised about sauces again. Food was amazing. Hot, big portions, and cooked in a reasonable amount of time. The place was spotless. Every chance the staff got he would run out and clean up. CANNOT RATE HIGH ENOUGH!!Please bring one to Devon!!

Very slow service and food not of a high standard and expensive for what you got. Staff rude when dealing with a complaint. Would not return or recommend.

I come to Wok & Go often on the food run for my office. I am usually served by Tom - an amazing employee who goes above and beyond always very friendly and smiling. the food here is fantastic - our whole office loves Wok & Go!

'Create your own box' is good value for money. Egg noodles and fried rice are my all time favorite .

Highly rate wok and go. Beautiful fresh food and the staff are great ✌get yourself down there you won't be disappointed especially for the sea food options

My food was amazing and really tasted as it should, my other half's food had a really strong smell of burnt cooking oil. This was enough to put my partner off and take the dish back to be given a full refund and a apology. Can't complain at the service just a little crazy when busy.

I don't get to visit Leeds often but I love seeing the happy faces at Wok & Go. Always great service and fantastic food from a nice team.

Went here to day food was amazing and fun to watch being cook was little delay on our food as ticket was miss placed but manager was so helpful and so happy to help us I would really go again and advise others to go as food was filling and good value and tastes amazing

Great food but they clearly can't cope at peak times which is why I am leaving a second review. Employ more staff! Not only did they lose our tickets, we waited 35 minutes (for noodles!) and other people were getting their food before us who were served after us! So yeah management, employ more staff for busy periods, you're going to lose custom if not, and we go a lot!

I ate at Wok & go yesterday, the service was good, food was really good value & very tasty, but what really stood out was that later I thought I had lost my purse & when I came back to look for it the personnel were outstanding, one man in particular whose name I should have asked was exceptionally supportive and arranged help from security staff for me, fortunately I had only misplaced my purse, but the experience was made easier by the much appreciated support, Thank You

Pooped in after a bit of retail therapy. I wanted some thing different than the usual fast food. This a lovely little place,away from the hustle and bustle of the food court. Had a small box of noodles, spring rolls and soft drink all for £7. BARGIN. A little bit if a wait as it was been freshly prepared today n front of me. Worth the wait it was so tasty.

Wanted a change from the usual everyday rubbish so decided to get noodles, had a pad Thai box, large is a lot of food so be careful

Been here several times and it always hits the spot. I usually go for a pad Thai but this time had the spicy mee gee seafood box and it was amazing!

I stopped here on my break at work as I love Asian food so thought I'd give this place a chance. I wish I hadn't bothered. The staff were ok, but not very helpful, it was obvious it was my first visit. Food took a long time to be prepared and when it arrived it was flavourless (I opted for the green curry box) the curry was really watery and didn't have much chicken or veg in it. The only good part was that the food was hot and a decent portion. I won't be returning.

Great service, called for a lunch wrap however machine not working. Was given discount on lunch box as a good will gesture, very pleased and egg noodle sweet & sour was great. Never disappointed when visiting Wok & Go fresh, hot and Very tasty.

I called here to try it and I wasn't disappointed. I had a make your own box and it was really tasty. If passing or in a hurry would recommend calling in.

We were in the White Rose Centre and we thought we'd give it a try. The menu was easy to work out and there were decent choices available. We didn't have to wait long for the food and at first we thought the carton it arrived in was a tad small ( we went regular ) but it held loads and we were full at the end. My only gripe is that the seating area is a little cramped. We would definitely go again though.

My son works in white rose shopping center, so when I have to drop him off at work I like to go for my lunch as a treat. I love the noodles for wok & go but its the staff that bring me back time and again. If this is ur first visit they will be friendly and accommodating (I can be quite picky)As I they know me quite well I am always greeted with a smile and a how are u today. Its really nice having that extra bit of friendlies great customer service.

Today 25.10.16 at 11.45am, stood waiting to be served after viewing menu. Walked up to counter to order. Man behind counter took a phone call instead which took ages. He then proceeds to clip the order to a bag and takes it to the kitchen area. Instead of coming back to serve me he continues messing about with orders and packing bags!!! What is wrong with this picture, man needs training in customer service.

Stopped off here for a quick bite. I chose the 'make your own' regular box of vermicelli noodles, chicken and Pad-Thai sauce. My wife had the same but with teriyaki sauce. The cost was around £15 including one side (5) crispy dumplings and a coke. Contact less payments accepted.Verdict:*****Service (noon) was quick*****Food was very hot and fresh*****Staff were friendly ***** Price was good - one regular box and a side is enough for two.****Location is near the entrance/ exit and in autumn a cold draft can be uncomfortable.Tip - Save your leftovers in the box them came in and ask for a bag to take it home. :)We'll visit again - great value and quality.

There is a lot of choice, the food is fresh and hot. If you are not sure what you want just ask.If you haven't got long to eat it is Quick and reasonably priced.There is seating area and it is nice and clear.

My experience was better than expected and I will definitely be back! . My Singa box was recommended by the really nice young chap on the till (brown, curly hair and pierced ear) I have to say it was spot on. There is a lot of choice and he was extremely helpful. The eating area was clean and had a great atmosphere ,especially the music. I was given fantastic customer service and it was nice to be asked, whether everything was ok with my meal. He also gave me voucher for the new wraps wok n go just started doing... Very tempting!

Saturday 3rd Sept. I understand that Saturday's are busy for all stores. Quite a long line but I didn't mind. The tone of this review is set by the disappointing attitude and mood of Marek/ Mavec who I think is the manager. There's a sign inside Wok & Go that encourages customers to let others know of our thoughts. I'm not impressed that this persons mannerisms clearly showed he did not want to be at work. A lot of yelling of order numbers and huffing at customers. When I arrived at the till to make my order, I stood there for two minutes with him in front of me doing something inside the till. That's fine, but at least acknowledge your customer's presence. A little "give me a moment' wouldn't hurt. Then as I gave my order, he couldn't understand where I was ordering from. I repeated that I wanted to make my own box, "what?", I pointed, "The make your own box". Then Mr Marek decided to roll his eyes at me. Great. Then he attempted to upsell the order with a drink and spring rolls. It may be worth noting that you're very unlikely to succeed in up-selling with a sour attitude toward customers. Then came the moment for me to pay and before I could even start to count the coins in my person he already began tapping his fingers against the counter- thanks, that'll definitely make me go faster. This order was only a few minutes long and honestly makes me not want to eat here again. I've been to Wok&Go in other cities before and I'm sure it's not that difficult to give decent customer service.Another note, I realised that the gentleman who had served me was at the end of his shift and had sat at a table with a laptop and still proceeded to yell out order number from his seat outside W&G?? You're in a bad mood, go home.I don't like writing bad reviews but the sign in the restaurant told me to let others know what I thought. On a good note, I still love eating boxes of rice and chicken from W&G, just not this one.

Visit to Leeds with my Girlfriend and we had decided go have lunch at Wok & Go well the title of the shop should be Wok & wait. The server kept wandering off and doing other stuff while there was a que i think it took 20 mins to simply order. The server was obnoxious and had more excuses than a politician. And when i commented that they need more staff he said they could not afford it. The floor was filthy with food. The noodles we had was from three make your own so noodles chicken sweet chilli. It was not too bad and was reasonable value for money.

Long wait (about 20 mins) to take order despite being at the front of the queue for about 10 mins and there being no reason not to come and take my order. The server was rude and made excuses for everything. The food was OK but nothing special. The place itself was dirty, sticky floor and chairs covered in food. Drinks machine had no Vimto in just soda. Won't be returning.

I usually buy from here when I visit whiterose but this will be my last time I go. I was placing my order my phone rang it was my hubby was just going to tell him I'll call him back and the guy who was serving me spoke rudely to me. Then walked away. Didn't even give me a chance to explain. So I left put me off. Would be different if I was having a full blown conversation.

Eaten here at least 5 times now, every time we go to the white rose! The service is quick, the food is always fresh, hot and tasty. We always get a meal deal which is reasonably priced. My partner is a vegetarian and sometimes struggles to find something to eat but Wok & Go have a veg option on their menu which is good!

Come here often for food, came for lunch with my boyfriend and yet again the food was amazing! The portions are huge, definitely worth the price. The spring rolls are gorgeous, so nice and crispy. Would recommend the hotbox for anyone who loves spicy food. X

Placed my order. Last forgot my order so placed it again. Wasn't given the right order number. Food was wrong when it arrived. But they happily replaced it. The food was good. But the staff were not on form.

Had the pad Thai 'with chicken and vegetables'. Opened the small box but noodles crammed in so good for money, but halfway down the box I did wonder where my chicken and vegetables were..? It was all just noodles. Was delicious but needed more chicken n veg. Don't think I'de return

Fantastic food as always, this branch never lets us down, Michael who serves is really friendly Knowledgeable and polite. Because of this we will now visit on a Tuesday.

We went to Wok & Go in the White Rose tonight, and weren't dissapointed. We both had the black bean box with beef & were impressed that this was freshly cooked in front of us, and only took a few minutes.We were served by Michael who was really friendly and helpful, my husband asked for no Broccoli which he asked the kitchen to do for us, no problem. This is a refreshing change from all the other fast food outlets, and because the food is cooked to order, it's still hot when you get home! Will definately visit again!

Went for the two for Tuesday lunch which we thought was great value. This seemed to be the only Asian inspired restaurant in the white rose so they definitely have a great opportunity to target customers like ourselves who prefer that type of cuisine. Food was tasty but we did notice that due to the salt content we were thirsty for hours afterwards. When you order your food you receive a number for your order and we understand that the staff refer to numbers rather than people, as inevitably in busy times this is the best option. Being referred to as a number however, whilst being the only people in the restaurant did feel quite hostile and reminded us that we were in a fast food environment. Next time would we go for our less preferred burger bar? Undecided as of yet.

Having had some spare time to kill on Friday I decided on some retail therapy and of course this needs to include lunch. I’ve never been a big fan of main stream fast-food options and generally favour the likes of YoSushi or Wok&Go.The medium Combo Box that I experienced on Friday fit the bill nicely. I was tempted by the large box but the medium option ended up being perfect and contained plenty of roast pork, lean beef, chicken, prawn, shrimp, broccoli and vegetables. I couldn’t fault it.Michael was my server and I’ve seen him working there regularly. He’s always chirpy, friendly and happy to help and although the card reader on the front desk was having a major tantrum just as he was coping with an influx of customers the poor lad did a grand job of working around the problem.

We ordered a 'make your own box' meal in which we chose vermicelli noodles, tofu and curry sauce as an extra we also ordered vegetable spring rolls. We was served by a gentleman named Michael who at first messed our order up due to a lack of attention and concentrating on shouting out numbers for other people's orders. Michael apologised by offering us a complimentary loyalty card which I accepted with thanks. Once our food arrived I opened my box of noodles to soon find I was chewing on a piece of chicken, as strict vegetarians we was very angry and disturbed by the whole situation. I brought my food which was hardly touched to the counter to again be served by Michael who was very unsympathetic to the situation. He told us that if we would have mentioned that we was vegetarian when ordering that our food would have been cooked in a separate pan to those of animals. I was discussed at this comment as we ordered a meat and fish alternative and I presumed that the chefs would find it appropriate to cook our food in a separate pan, this is a very popular method used across many food chains that I have visited. Michael agreed to refund our bill back to my mothers card which she paid with but I do not believe we have received justice for what happened today. Both me and my mother have been strict vegetarians for many years and this has been a very sad day for us both. We was not happy in the slightest how the situation was dealt with receiving no apology from the chefs who were stood In front of us but yet an additional offering of a loyalty card as some sort of incentive to keep us quiet as the queue was building up. I have since emailed wok&go's head office and await a response. I will never go back to this company and would recommend vegetarians to stay away!

I was at Wok and go the other day and was the best meal I've had in the white rose centre! There was excellent customer service from Sophie which made my experience better. She recommended to me to have the combo as I didn't like spicy foods and this was the best choice for me. I will definitely be returning due to excellent customer service!

Located just outside the Merrion centre in Leeds, Wok&Go offers Asian-style fast food. According to Wok&Go's website, 'Our kitchens are open so you can have a front row seat to the theatrics of sizzling woks and your tossed, flipped food unfolding in front of your eyes'. Their language is spicier than their food, but it is fresh and tasty. Their advertising makes it sounds like a spectacle, however, you will be disappointed when all you see is someone cooking your food in a wok. Wok&Go do offer a particularly interesting menu for its location; competing against the likes of McDonalds, Burger king, KFC, and Subway. So, if you are tired of processed chicken or questionable pieces of cow, Wok&Go is the place to be. Referring back to their website you can get an excellent idea of what is on offer, 'flavours of Thai, Malaysian, Indonesian, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine in the form of wok tossed noodles and rice boxes, soups, salads and sides'. Their 'Classic Boxes' are fantastic, the 'Hot Box' is particular my particular favourite: containing roast pork, lean beef, chicken, broccoli and market fresh Asian vegetables all wok tossed in spicy, original chilli sauce recipe.When you are comparing Wok&Go's food to its local competitors, hands down they are the best; delicious freshly cooked ingredients with incredible portions, I challenge anyone to eat a large box and leave nothing. Service is OK, not to be compared with restaurant level service, but I have always been greeted politely and served quickly. Finally, the price; Wok&Go is fairly expensive, but again, when compared with other similar places, the price is definitely worth it.

Had my first ever wok & go experience and Michael made it extra good as he was friendly and served us with a smile, will return again

Had my first Wok & Go on Friday and I was not sure what to order and I explained to Michael what I liked as I do like spicy food but not too hot where I cant enjoy it. Michael recommended the Hot Box but maybe not to have the chilli flakes in so I agreed to this. I must admit it was the best meal I have had in a while and the service was fast and prompt and I enjoyed watching the chef making the food. I will definitely be back

Visited with a friend whilst out shopping. Even though it was less than an hour to go to closing Michael gave us excellent service and the food was fresh and piping hot. Very good experience.
