WOK 88 GOOLE Chinese Takeaway in East Riding of Yorkshire

Love everything about Wok88. Food is always hot when delivered, portion sizes are large and reasonably priced and all staff are friendly and helpful.

Really nice food and average priced too. we always get the set menu. My kids are fussy and they always enjoy wok 88.

Pricey average flavoured food. Very disappointed that (for the first time at any Chinese takeaway I can remember- ps I’m 60 years old) there were no prawn crackers. After spending nearly £50 for 2 takeaways and the duck starter!

I've tried a few Chinese in Goole and these seem to have the best so far.

We were waiting over and hour for our food and it is not even busy.people who have ordered more stuff than us after us have gotten our food already.we also watched a rat run out of the door after being chased with a broom by a member of staff.this places hygiene is honestly horrendous and will not be coming again.

Good food at a decent price. Had the meal C option for 2. This would feed 3 people easily.

Never had a bad meal from wok 88. I do think it's gone down hill though from what it was. I think it's expensive no free prawn crackers HEART BROKEN. Asked for extra chilli on the salt and chill chips but was non existent.

I placed my order at wok88 and will definitely be my last order! If I could of given 0 stars I would of, I ordered chips sausage and gravy with ribs and egg fried rice, Firstly I requested my chips to be salt and pepper at a additional £2!!!! The chips was plain, The gravy was like they poured a full tub of granules in a table spoon of water it wouldn't come out of the tub supplied, The egg fried rice was like no other I've had before it was almost deep fried I also found 2 hairs in this product! The ribs were really undercooked to the point I almost thought they was going to start oinking at me, So on the whole a very disappointing meal, I left the 2 meals in my dogs bowls and I wasn't at all surprised to find they haven't touched it 🙃 I never leave reviews but this was awful avoid at all costs

First time l ordered food from them, it was nice and freshly cooked, tasted very nice, the shop is clean and tidy, the staff neatly dressed and very friendly and helpful,, overall, l enjoyed my shopping and there freshly cooked food, l will certainly call again, and will gladly recommend this take away,, so thanks very much and hope to call again very soon,, l normally have takeaway once a week on a Friday, so looking forward to next Friday..

Won't be returning it's gone down hill a lot in the last 6 months since I ordered, not to mention the price hike! (Everywhere is going up I underatand) but portion size is almost half of what it used to be and from £9.60 to 13.80 for the SAME and portion size is a lot smaller! For me I won't be returning! P.s sweet n sour sauce is like pure malt vinegar!

I ordered a chicken curry and egg fried rice, portions seem very small comparing to other Chinese take aways I've used. But the thing that stuck out for me was, the 6 small pieces of chicken and millions of onions, it should have been called an onion curry.

Wow, this has got to be one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever used. Staff are friendly and as for the food, excellent, I could not fault it at all, highly recommended

Food was hot and perfectly good, even though the chip portions were bad considering they don't come with the main and cost £3.20 for a portion of salt and pepper chips. This isn't the reason for the 2 stars, it is because of the rudeness I encountered by the delivery guy. He scolded me for giving them the wrong address, despite me hearing my wife tell them the correct information and when you give a post code, only one set of house numbers correspond to it. He was determined to lay blame with us and said he was going to knock and then drive away. Looking at low reviews on here we weren't alone. A shame as we'd probably consider using this place again. The high prices can be forgiven, the but the sheer rudeness can not.

Waited 2 hours for delivery, customer service is shocking when ringing up to check where food is they just tell driver is out with it no proper complaint handling with a discount or anything just argumentative in the phone. Very expensive for the smallest portions in town and very poor customer service. Avoid

Ordered and waited 2 hours for delivery, called twice in this time and was fobbed off on the phone that the driver was out with the delivery. Called back another 30 minutes later to get the same story. Said I just wanted to cancel the order as either you're lying to me or the driver has my cold food with him which I'm not prepared to pay for. Used to be good but terrible these days and customer service when handling a complaint is shocking. Wont be ordering again unfortunately.

Great Chinese takeaway. Very friendly staff and didn't keep us waiting long. Food quality is very good and the portion sizes are smaller than a lot of Chinese's, but are still perfectly reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

We would of given 5 but delivery was way to long from placing the call it took just over two hours for our food to arrive we were starving now the food it's self was lovelly could not fault that at all and after the hubby complained we came to the agreement that we would only pay £10 I would use this take away again but not on home delivary ...That was disappointing especially when sons takeaway only took 20mins to come from a different takaway ..

Used to the best in the area, however the recent price increase together with smaller portions mean will avoid from now on

Been our preferred Chinese for over two years ago but has suddenly and massively gone down hill. Long wait despite phoning the order in a good 20 minutes before collecting. Last two orders have hardly had any meat in the meal, people feeling ill afterwards, very greasy and sweet and sour sauce tasting of nothing but vinegar. Sadly avoid, we will from now on.

Great food, highly recommended, we have used them lots of times & never ever had a bad meal or a long wait for our good. Best Chinese in Goole!
