Very disappointed with the meal last night. The fish pie was exceptionally small and dried up, the gammon steak was also dried up and tough. Very different experience from last time we were there. Did mention the quality of food and got an apology but no adjustment made to bill. We would think twice before taking friends again

Great pub offering a warm welcome with nice chilled vibe and good pub grub. Lovely outside seating area overlooking the beach, but if the weather turns duff, stick to the “old” bar area as it’s full of character.

So glad we booked would strongly recommend as it was very busy on weekends. Great dinning area with super views of the sea. Considering it was so busy ,was served really quickly, lovely friendly staff. Had the cod and chips and partner had chicken and ham pie . Really nice meal Considering all the negative comments on here must say all the meals that were being served looked great . Our meal was fab couldn't ask for more nice food with amazing view.

Love coming here, we walked along the tunnel path from Saundersfoot. Although there is outside seating with lovely views of the bay it was raining so we sat in the comfortable bar area. The drinks were good and food excellent, shame about the miserable staff perhaps a bad day. Definitely recommend

Lovely setting and fast service, however the food was awful! I ordered fish pie, it was a tiny portion - it didn’t even fill half the dish it came in and it was basically just gloopy Mash with 1 prawn and 3 tiny chunks of salmon. Appeared and tasted to be a frozen meal and not homemade. Pretty much paid £15.95 for a plate of Mash, Chips and Peas!!

The inn was a couple of minutes walk from where we were staying. It's a shame there are so many negative comments but it doesn't deter people from going it's always busy! We had toasties & baguettes one lunchtime and personal tweaks to the order were not a problem, service always with smiles, the crab baguettes were delicious 😋 The 2nd visit was for an evening meal and all 10 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Keep up the good work

Went for Sunday Lunch…..a little hesitantly due to mixed reviews…some excellent, some critical. We needn’t have worried. The lunch was great…particularly the selection of vegetables. The food was served on piping hot plates (Why doesn’t every restaurant and pub do this?) and an additional gravy boat came with it…usually you have to ask! Service was pretty quick…even though the place was packed.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! We were on holiday and visited wisemans Inn on 31/7. The food was great, so the following day as its on our way home we decided to go in for our evening meal again. What a mistake. Both nights it was busy, and that's fine, we accepted there would be a wait. We were fine with the hour that we were told. The first evening our food arrived hot and was very enjoyable, although the crab salad was not fresh crab more of a crab mixed paste, it was still good. On the 1/8 it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive, as soon as it arrived (4 adult meals) it was clear it was cold, and it looked dried out i picked up an onion ring and it was cold right through. The buns were like cardboard. So I checked whether the chips / burgers were hot they weren't. Immediately I spoke to a young waitress and said the food was cold, she said she didn't know what to do as the kitchen was busy, and didn't know how long it would take to replace with hot food. She went to get the manager. He was outwardly rude, there is no other way to explain his behaviour, when he stomped over with no greeting or smile, he was probably stressed as the pub was was full with loads of people ordering food. I explained the food had come out cold, he offered to microwave it! Or replace it, but in replacing it we would have to wait an hour. The wait time for food now. I said we had already waited 45 mins which was fine, but that when the whole meal arrived cold I just couldn't understand this, he was just so dismissive, not a care. I said feel it, it looked hideous. The only thing that was hot in 4 meals was the lasagne, as this was in a separate dish from the oven, which was burnt slightly on the top, our 10 year old was eating it as he was hungry, but the chips were completely inedible. I said to the manager so basically we can eat it cold or not get fresh for an hour, he said yep that's your option and walked off! I was so shocked I went back into the pub and asked to speak to someone actually in charge, no one came. The young waitress returned and said that her manager had sent to collect our meals as we were sat not eating them and to replace with fresh and this would be 10 minutes. I thanked her. Our sons had both eaten a chunk of their main despite it being cold as they were so hungry but the chips were inedible and so the waitress also kindly replaced them. When our fresh burgers came they were hot, and the chips fresh. The buns were still like cardboard, and we left these. There was no check back and certainly no offer to make amends in any way whatsoever. The service was simply shocking. I was polite and asked for cold food to be replaced, the attitude of the 'manager' certainly left alot to be desired. A table close by us asked if we were OK and said they were disgusted by how we were spoken to, they said their food was also poor but after waiting an hour they were starving too so just ate it.. I think this pub is very busy (due to beautiful location) and simply can not cope with the amount of food they are trying to serve. After waiting an hour for food everyone is so hungry they just eat it, even if it's poor quality. We were treated so badly for politely raising this, it was embarrassing. I wish I had paid more attention to the poor reviews before, and eaten elsewhere.

Called for lunch and we managed to get a parking space.Between the front and field car park there must be room for 100+ cars. We had a tuna jacket crab baguettes and a toasted tuna and mozzarella gubatte roll. The chips were crispy and well cooked. We all decided we will be going back in the near future. Also a great selewction of beers, lagers and ciders. All this and a fabulous sea view.

Pre booked and pre ordered an evening meal for our group of friends. The meal was good , it was a cold room where we were sat. There was a charge of £50 for the use of the room! This was not mentioned pre booking, so it came as a surprise. The bar was packed on one side and the other bar was fairly busy, but I'm sure we could have been squeezed in (but they would have had to turn others away). To be charged £50 for being put into the function room was very wrong and spoilt the day.

Came here for dinner on my birthday. Ordered fish and chips. Now we’ve eaten fish and chips all over the country and know what’s good. These were terrible. The batter looked good but was too thick, greasy and tasteless. The fish inside was supposed to be cod but wasn’t like any cod I’d ever had before. It was watery and grey - probably because the batter was too thick it wasn’t cooked enough. The chips were ok and the mushy peas were the best thing about the whole thing. We won’t be returning anytime soon.

We came here on holiday whilst staying in wales. When we arrived we were quickly given a table and sat down. We were asked what drinks we wanted and they arrived in two minutes. It took a while waiting for the bill but overall it was a 5 star experience.

My wife and I have been visiting all the the different eating places across Pembrokeshire for the past 15 months. Most of them have been excellent but this place falls well short. Really poor. We ordered cooked ham, egg and chips, The ham was passable I suppose but the chips were cold and the egg was poor in quality of what you would normally expect. I did complain at the end but it just fell on deaf ears. Another thing, this is the only eating place we have visited where the staff do not come round and ask if everything is alright. I don't think they are bothered as long as they get loads of different people coming in every day. Lovely location but extremely poor in quality and service. If I could score it lower than 5 I would because it doesn't deserve any stars.

We booked ( recommended) and paid a deposit over the phone to secure a table one busy sunny evening. The pub was absolutely full of people but our table was there and waiting in the small restaurant area where we were seated. The menu looked awesome, and we were both a little spoilt for choice but we went with a 10 Oz sirloin steak and minted lamb chops. My partners steak was to die for.. seasoned to perfection and cooked to his liking perfectly too, it melted under his knife. My lamb was equally as good, tender and tasty. We didn’t have a sweet as we were full., but headed outside for another drink watching the sea and sunset still revelling in what we had just eaten. The building itself is beautiful. Lots of seating options and really the place to be on a summer and sunny evening. I recommend booking a table for food! Well worth the wait as last time we were in the area Covid restrictions still applied and it was closed as one person had Covid and they were isolating.. we were gutted! But we got there in the end and it was worth a 2+ year wait.. in my partners words “ that steak was better than Millet and Carter “! And he loves that place! So well done Wiseman’s Bridge Inn!

Positives: Friendly staff, food arrived quickly despite it being very busy, chips were fine. Negatives: My lasagne (£15) tasted uncannily like a supermarket microwave version which had been placed in the metal serving dish and sprinkled with cheese. Given a recent review stating their curry tasted like a boil in the bag, I suspect I'm probably right. My daughter, who usually eats anything put in front of her, barely touched her mac & cheese. My husband tried it and said it was completely tasteless. The accompanying peas which I'd hope she'd eat for a bit of 'health' were closer in colour to grey than green. They looked and smelt like they'd come from a can. I appreciate food prices have increased, but it's pretty unforgivable serving tinned peas when the frozen (much nicer) version can be bulk-bought very cheaply. We'd been told by the locals that the food here has majorly gone downhill recently since the departure of the usual chef, and this was definitely proven right for us. The stunning location of the pub means I'm sure you'll never be short of custom, but it wouldn't take much to make some much-needed improvements. Stripping back the menu, making things from scratch and serving a few simple dishes well would be a good start.

Wonderful place to end the day and enjoy great food and wonderful ales along with a sunset over the bay. Well worth a walk or drive to this little gem. Try to get here early as it is always very popular

Had a lovely meal here whilst on holiday in the area. A varied menu with a mix of seafood and traditional pub classics. Service was excellent. It’s a lovely location right on the beach. It was busy so booking is required.

Visited here twice during our holiday. Fairly standard pub grub but able to eat in the open air. Able to pay by contactless.

The outside tables give a lovely view out to sea. Fish pie was very poor value with not much fish content. On the other hand the prawn salad gave a very generous helping of prawns, unfortunately they had absolutely no flavour.

Over our holiday we called in here. Loads of nice outdoor seating. Great views of sea and beach. Service was good. Staff friendly. Food was nice and served up quite fast considering how busy they were. Got to be worth calling in.

Visited here with the family for the evening and were not disappointed! All the food was delicious but the sea bass and the fish pie were sensational. Also, the drinks were really cheap - I.e. £3 for a spirit and £18 for a good bottle...

Stumbled upon the pub walking from Saundersfoot and went in for Sunday lunch. A point to mention is they're only serving Sunday lunch inside and not to the outside tables, though you can get the rest of the menu outdoors. There were three of us...

Visited 4 times in a week and always managed to get an outside table (we had a dog with us). Every meal was fresh, delicious and plentiful. The views are stunning and the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful.

I have eaten at Black Pool Mill previously and today brought four family members for the Festive Afternoon Tea🎄 The Greeting was Welcoming, all Members of staff that we saw were smiling and very friendly, very refreshing to see. Our Afternoon Tea was absolutely Fantastic, every aspect from fresh bread, the sandwich fillings, home made cakes (especially the mince pies and macaroons😍) with the fantastic display of festive foods on a slate cake stand ( with freshly picked holly) topped it off.. 🎄 Thank you All for a Magical and Delicious Afternoon Tea (& Prosecco🎄🥂)

Booked a Sunday lunch out for family...although we frequently visit The Bar we had never tried their Sunday Dinners. As soon as we walked in we had a lovely welcome from Liam and his team. Our orders were taken straight away and within 5 minutes our drinks and food were on the table. Very generous portions, I've never been out to Sunday dinner anywhere that had the choice of seasonal vegetables we had. Everything was cooked to perfection. Very much tasted like home cooking. Fresh and delicious. We had no room or need for a pudding! With that view, a lovely relaxed friendly atmosphere and decent prices you can't go wrong. Highly recommend. Thank you Liam, we will be returning !
