One of my local pubs, spent many hours in here. Great selection of drinks and cocktails. Staff are always friendly. Live music on regular. A must visit ❤️👌

Overall very good. Some nice drinks and excellent desserts. Wouldn't reccomend the chicken burger though. £14+ and overpriced for a very dry chicken breast and dry bun. Chips were nice with it at least. Topo across the road charges a bit less for their chicken burger and it's loaded with flavour.

Sign outside said 25%, off food this month. Big 25% on the sign. Went in had food but didn't take 25% off as said was bookings only. It was quiet so don't understand what booking has to do with it. Went to see sign outside in chalk and the bookings only sign is there but the rain has took a lot of it off. I bet few people been caught out by that. I only went in after seeing the sign So won't be back... save your £3.50 and have this 1 star review instead and the loss of a customer. Quite underhanded. Won't be back

Me desperté esta mañana preguntándome si la visita de anoche a Winston’s fue un sueño/pesadilla. Primero llegaré a puntos positivos. Cervezas decentes, precios bien, decoración decente. Eso es todo. En un pub estándar de Blackpool, comparando lo que vimos antes en Central Blackpool este lugar podría haber sido brillante. ¡Pero no lo era! En una visita al baño de caballeros las bolsas flotantes de Coca-Cola deberían habernos dado una pista de qué tipo de pub estábamos en. Sin embargo, a veces, no se puede culpar a los propietarios, gerentes o dueños de pubs y clubes si la gente cuela sustancias ilícitas. Entendemos que la dirección no puede tener ojos en todas partes. Entonces, a nuestra visita... mi esposa visitó este pub el viernes 10 de enero de 2025. Había un dúo tocando la guitarra y cantando. Eran geniales y bastante entretenidos. Frente al dúo había un montón de chicos y chicas que eran un poco peores para el desgaste. Algunos de ellos estaban claramente borrachos y bastante bulliciosos. Si bien probablemente sería una exageración decir que estaban buscando, o a punto de comenzar los problemas, no nos habría sorprendido si hubieran comenzado. De hecho, el solitario ‘gobernante’ parecía estar de acuerdo porque tenía sus ojos puestos en ellos la mayor parte del tiempo. Con la hora cerca de las 11 de la noche mi esposa y yo decidimos pedir una comida para llevar del lado opuesto chino y tomar una copa más mientras se cocinaba. Así que pedí 2 pintas más para mi esposa y yo. La esposa corrió al otro lado de la carretera para ordenar la comida para llevar. Tan buenos fueron los dos cantores que cuando la esposa regresó con la comida para llevar decidimos comprar otra bebida. Fue entonces cuando ocurrió el evento más ridículo. Cuando el Sr. Bouncer vio a mi esposa entrar en el pub con la comida para llevar (completamente sellada y envuelta en una bolsa de transporte) la dejó y nos dijo que no podíamos llevar comida al bar. Le aseguramos que mantendríamos la comida sellada en la bolsa y no soñaríamos con preparar una comida para llevar en un pub y que la comida se mantendría firmemente en la bolsa debajo de la mesa mientras esperábamos nuestro taxi y tomábamos nuestra última bebida. Él no estaba tomando nada de eso y nos dijo que simplemente no podíamos beber en el bar con la comida para llevar. Le dije que no había manera de que dejáramos las 2 bebidas que acabábamos de comprar y que las íbamos a beber y luego nos iríamos. De nuevo, el tonto no tenía nada de eso. Reaccionó como si la bolsa contuviera una bomba. No podías inventarlo. Él fue firme e insistente en que teníamos que dejar el bar. Todo este tiempo estuve ‘discutiendo’ esto con el portero, el grupo que mencioné anteriormente se estaba poniendo cada vez más fuerte y uno o dos ahora estaban reprendiendo al dúo de cantantes. Le dije al portero “Mira amigo. Estamos bebiendo estas 2 pintas y luego nos iremos. Creo que tienes mayores problemas con esa banda alborotada que nuestra comida para llevar”. Sin embargo, tal fue su cobardía que se negó a reconocer a la banda alborotada y se mantuvo en una pareja de marido y mujer. Cansados de su cobardía, mi esposa y yo decidimos sentarnos cerca de la puerta y tragarnos nuestra pinta mientras Colin el Cobarde nos miraba. Justo antes de irme dije “Mira amigo. Está a punto de comenzar allí ahora con ese grupo. ¿No crees que deberías ir allí y ordenarlos en lugar de molestarnos por una bolsa de comida?”. Su respuesta no fue nada y nos miró fijamente. Luego nos fuimos sin incidentes. Fue solo más tarde cuando regresamos a nuestro hotel que me di cuenta de por qué Cobarde Colin estaba obsesionado con nuestra comida. Fue porque lo necesitaba para él. De hecho, medía un poco más de 5 pies de altura, pero pesaba más de 20 Stone. Sí, creo que quería que dejáramos la comida por él. Bueno, no lo hicimos y estamos contentos porque fue encantador. Volveremos al Take Away pero no volveremos a Winston’s de nuevo donde sus prioridades son muy extrañas.

Lovely to find a family owned bar/restaurant , with strong customer values.. this is a particularly challenging time for these types of businesses so even more gratifying to see this one succeeding. Great food, atmosphere , vast selection of drinks, friendly staff and very clean ...

Qué desperdicio absoluto de dinero. Mi familia reservó para la cena de Navidad. Fue horrible. 690 libras desperdiciadas. El ambiente era vergonzoso. Tuve una abuela de 84 años y niños con mi partido. Tuvimos que escuchar a hombres borrachos gritando y usando blasfemias que eran tan impactantes que queríamos irnos. Si no hubiera sido el día de Navidad y hubiéramos pagado por adelantado nos habríamos ido. Cualquiera que esté pensando en cenar en Navidad. No lo hagas. Es un desastre total.

Ok, I will take we are the wrong demographics for this gaff. However if you have Three springs of various ages it is fine and cheap, really cheap. For two of us in our late 50s, avoid avoid avoid.

Went for the festive special had to book and pre order. Food was outstanding and service was excellent. The one thing was that there was a service charge of £5 which was added to the bill which I knew nothing about. I always tip but really don’t like been told I have too.

Went here for Prinks before a birthday meal out. We have enjoy meals here but my husband had booked elsewhere, enjoyed drinks with family beforehand. Atmosphere always friendly.

Visité para comer esta semana. ¡Paga barato y bájate! Pescado "fresco" + patatas fritas anunciadas en el menú. El pescado definitivamente no era fresco, era de un horrible color amarillo. No volveré a pedir comida, un montón de mejores lugares en Highfield Road y en los alrededores.

Great Bar, grid atmosphere, friendly staff, and decent pint of Guinness. The cheesecakes taste every bit as Good as they look. I'd fully recommend this place.

this women came over to serve us but had an awful attitude towards my nana about breakfast because we could not have a small breakfast and had to have a large, there was also a sign outside stating breakfast times and it was 12-2 (we came at 1) and she said how we couldn’t have the breakfast we wanted and then she started raising her voice a little bit and said how she isn’t going to serve us anymore and she didn’t get someone else straight away and so we left and during that the sign was then brought in.

Had two for one cocktails, reasonably priced at £7, tasted great. Cannot fault

Friendly staff prices reasonable

Food was great and just what we needed after night out in town. The sever (young lad) was great and very professional. Prices weren’t expensive like most places in seafront towns I highly recommend going for breakfast and other meals!!!

Well turned out place. Nice decor and friendly staff. Good range of food and drinks available with plenty of seating both upstairs & downstairs. Parking on the road mostly after 6pm due to bay restrictions.

Visiting Blackpool for the first time and we were really struggling to find somewhere serving food at around 8:30pm but Winston's saved the day! Food was amazing, wide choice on the menu and portions were plentiful, staff were fab and the atmosphere was good. Had a great time, thanks!

Visited Winstons for the 1st time since moving to the area. Date night for myself and my wife. Service was fantastic, food was the best I've had since moving here. We weren't rushed and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Cant wait to come back soon.

Spot on great atmosphere great food went on a quiz night didn't partake as we where just in area for food but was a great atmosphere and if we lived in Blackpool would definitely be a local staff super attentive and venue is really nice and comfortable place to be

Winstons is a nice bar, staff are ok and its clean. But the afternoon tea that is served is not worth the money and the quality is very poor. The scones with jam and cream. Are pre made with squirty cream. We asked for scones without cream, but the staff said there were no more. The cakes are prepacked from aldis multi packs which are about £1.30 for 12. The sandwiches were ok and the potatoes are random but ok. Overall for £10 I feel this isn't value for money and the quality of food is very poor. When mentioned to the staff they weren't very accommodating about it, and unfortunately they didn't seem bothered. Overall experience wasn't great.

Decided to go as previously been for Sunday lunch . Sunday lunch was lovely however this visit so disappointed. Bland food , lacking flavour, burnt and small portions. The only plus side was the nice staff. Not sure would try food here again as much nicer places near by .

The food was decent, nothing special tho the egg was undercooked slightly for my liking and the price was a little high for what it is, the staff are the saving grace, the lady that served us was so lovely and welcoming.

Went to Winstons for a meal tonight the food was very substandard soup was luke warm and the mane meal was the same and tasteless we've been in several times before and the food was very nice unfortunately wasn't offered any discount for this last meal wich was awful thus will be are las visit to winstons

Went again today (11th Feb 24) for the £10 deal. Had garlic mushrooms and lamb. It was once again very good 💖 Went again today (6th Feb 24) booked the bottomless brunch. £35 each. I had chicken goujons and skin on fries (does come with beans but I didn’t want beans. I wanted to pick) 2 hours of unlimited Prosecco, front line cocktails, house gin (lots of flavours)or beer (not sure which coz I hate lager/beer) The service was awesome 💖💐 had the best two hours! Food was freshly cooked, very hot and tasty! Worth £35!!! Highly recommend Went today (sun 4th Feb) Bookef and ordered off the £10 meal offer. Had garlic mushrooms which were very hot and tasted lovely. Could just do with a tiny piece of baguette to dip in the sauce tho. Chose lamb Sunday dinner and it was delicious and very hot. Just the right size to leave me full but not uncomfortable. One roast potato, cabbage, carrot and swede mash, mash potato, Yorkshire pudding and fall apart slices of lamb. Beautiful! We also went in the evening on 31st Jan. had £10 offer with soup as a starter and lasagne. Again, served very hot! 😃 tomato and chorizo soup was packed with veg. Lasagne was amazing. Ordered skin on fries on the side. Had a cocktail too!

I always get past this place for a reason,so we had breakfast here this morning.i had burn sausage and bacon.not happy about it:(the atmosphere is gloomy,one of the waitress is having breakfast in front of us,and hearing her says she did not want to be there.price high for small breakfast.i wish they improve service and food.

The food was terrible , breakfast mushrooms were black , bacon looked like it had been microwaved. The burger was a tasteless lump of solid meat , no seasoning on a stale muffin , not even a proper burger bun. The brown sauce was the weirdest watered down with vinegar .

An absolutely fantastic place. Food service and atmosphere was great. We were a party of 4 visiting Blackpool for the weekend. All 4 of us really enjoyed our food. Amazing quality for the price we paid. Also already recommended to friends. And will definitely be back next time we are in Blackpool.

The visit was for a casual catch up and Sunday lunch spoilt by tepid food & poor service & rude staff. From the moment my friend and I walked through the door none of the staff acknowledged us. We stood a good 5 minutes waiting to be seated. I had booked the Facebook offer menu for 2 at 4.30 Sunday. I said to the young man who took us to the table and he clearly said your menus are already on the table. He came back took our order of starter and mains were fine. He cleared the mains plates and asked if we wanted desserts. We asked what the dessert on the offer menu was. While he went to find out we said we would have two coffees. He never returned to the table. We saw him leave with his coat on. We asked another waiter if we were invisible because we were being ignored. We finally got desserts but at no point did either of the waiters take any of the empty cups or glasses off the table. When we came to pay the bill it had been put through at normal menu price. We refused to pay it. The young girl on the till and the waiter just repeatedly said you have to pay that's what you had. You didn't book for the £10 menu. By now all tables close by were staring at us. Never have I ever been so embarrassed. To be fair the meal wasn't hot and the waiter didn't do a check back. All in all a very disappointing visit. The girl eventually just put the meal through on the offer price plus drinks. We have been many times before and had a lovely meal,however this visit will be our last. I am thoroughly disappointed with the service and food this time. It wasn't overly busy when we arrived most tables were on desserts.

Cracking place to both eat and relax with a drink

My Fiancée saw the 2 for £10 January offer, so came here on Sunday. We arrived early, which wasn’t an issue, and was promptly taken to our table. I ordered the meatballs to start followed by the roast beef Sunday dinner, my fiancée ordered the broccoli and Stilton soup and the roast chicken dinner. The food was exceptional. Extremely tasty and neither of us could believe the value for money. The service was fantastic too. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of our waitress, but she was extremely attentive and a credit to Winstons. Will definitely be coming back!

Been in for some drinks a few times and staff are lovely and always great with the drink recommendations! The drinks are beautifully made and tasty (this Jammy Dodger one is especially delicious) and the food is lovely! We got some of the small plates and they were absolutely divine.

Nothing wrong with the staff or service however food was very basic and bland.

After managing to squeeze into the tiny gap between the bench chair and table we placed our order with the polite and friendly staff member. The garlic mushrooms weren't inedible but were the worst I've had in a long time. The cheese and onion pie was awful. It was dry and tasteless, and the chips weren't even cooked very well. My partner told me her dishes were similarly disappointing. On the upside, the broccoli and carrots were fresh and cooked to perfection.

Great venue. Good quality food. Can't fault the servers they were fab. We went on a whim on a Sunday, and they still managed to find us a table . 5*all the way.

Lovely afternoon,food great, beet reasonably priced, good atmosphere.

Absolutely shocking place. Visited here with family for breakfast. Food was gross, and the service from the cellar man was horrendous. I gave one star for the service from the waitress as she was lovely and tried her best. Rude male server who should stay in the cellar and not serve customers. We will never come back. Pancakes from a packet, not even homemade anymore! I don't recommend this place at all. Avoid at all costs.

7 piund a surcharge absolute rip off

Always come here when we visit Blackpool. Last time I came I was disappointed but gave it another try. The chips and wedges were like they'd been cooked weeks ago absolutely disgusting food. Definitely changed ched within the last 2 year. Told the waiter about the chips and wedges nothing was donr and still put service charge on! Think the good reviews are probably staff or locals. Avoid warmed up microwave frozen rubbish

I thought I would go to Winston's for something to eat last night quiz night I was shocked in disbelief when I seen most of the tables empty with the sign reserved on them so I couldn't eat at all I stayed and had a drink just to see how long the people would turn up to claim that tables over an hour before people started to claim their tables I've seen two pregnant women having to stand up because they couldn't sit down anywhere as they was there for the quiz and all the tables was reserved even though I seen them talking to a member of stuff about their disappointment they were still not offered a seat absolutely disgusting Winston's get your act together and stop reserving seats and tables for people that don't turn up for hours on end no wonder you're a failing company

very weird and outdated place. an entire restaurant and bar dedicated to winston churchill?? screams UKIP and union jack tattoos to me. food was bland, cold and soggy. chefs clearly don’t know how to prepare a decent dish. lady who i think is the manager seemed rude and nasty as we overheard her speaking to staff members like they were dog muck. cocktails weren’t prepared properly and bar staff need more training, everything seemed to be thrown into a boston tin and hoped for the best. avoid, very gross place.

Staff handled a complaint (complaint not needed as the family emptied every plate then kicked off about the food) with grace and amazing manners. Food was top rate, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating

Great quiz on a Tuesday night. Bar staff very pleasant and polite. Great choice of wines and beer! Food is also very good with a wide range to pick from :)

Full English breakfast was definitely in need of some decent produce and cooking , All the produce was cheap rubbish , sausages undercooked, mushrooms were weird possibly from a tin they were a strange grey colour. Eggs were tasteless pale battery hen eggs and the toast was half bread half toast for £9 it was terrible. Staff were nice , just need a better chef and some half decent produce.

Brilliant drinks , the staff especially Joe and Chelsea are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is always good.
