Ordered a couple of side dishes to go with meal I cooked, always use Winns.Very disappointed this time, the pancake rolls with meat had no meat, lots of cabbage and large sticks of carrot,@ £3.20, i had 4,also had prawn toasts what a mess they were 1" thick pieces cut from a baguette, hardly and prawns but loads of sesame seeds there were 6 peices in the bag and cost me over £6. Total was £20.50, I think after 10 years of using Winns I'm going to find a new take away, very disappointed.

Delivery driver mutted under hes breath as he walked away * thanks for the tip * i shouted and said what did you say and he said *i said thanks for the tip, its compulsory to tip*. I informed him i payed by card and had no cash so cant tip and he threw a strop and walked away still sulking. I Called the restaurant to tell them what happened and they said that it is a acceptable normal response by the driver for me not giving the driver a tip. Maybe pay your drivers a fair wage so they dont have to beg for tips or add a tip feature on the website. Or just dont expect tips. Ridiculous

Avoid. Every Saturday we ordered £60.00 worth of food and one time food was missing. They accused us of lying about it on the phone and delivery driver was rude... We have never experienced such negative service. So much for supporting local business. Take your money elsewhere as there are much better quality Chinese takeaways nearby - One Takeaway in Benfleet is fantastic.

Just love this Chinese the food is amazing. Always fresh and staff lovely too. Only annoyance is cash only if you go int get takeaway

Beef Chow Mein had a strange metallic taste..avoid. Duck was dry like leather. Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong style was ok, egg fried rice ok. Garlic Butter chips were soggy and tasteless. Disappointing overall and won’t be ordering again.

The food and service was absolutely spot on. Best Prawn balls ever!!!

Going down hill as we ordered two meals from here and one, a special fried rice we had to throw away. It was grey in colour, barely warm and looked like it had been microwaved. For the price i would expect much better

Have recently moved to this area, first time tried Chinese food in this area, food is delicious, drivers deliver on time, food is hot and tasty when arrived, definitely will use again.

The egg fried rice was awfu, and there was no egg to be seen. Won't be ordering again

Great choice on the menu, staff were very friendly and food was delicious! Also reasonably priced. Delivery was speedy & you can pay by card on delivery. Only disappointment was the vegetable spring rolls which did not have much filling and some prawns still had shells on. Overall very yummy and will be returning!

Amazing takeaway place, great service & food. Very polite and friendly. Food is amazing at affordable prices. - Be Aware... they only take cash, so be prepared to run to a cash point if you need to eat and don't have cash..! 🤣 I wish they've had some tables so you can sit and eat there as the only option is to takeaway. First time using Winns and I wasn’t disappointed. Made an online order for collection and it was nice and easy. The food itself was really good and I struggle to find a Chinese takeaway that’s consistently decent, hopefully Winns will be my new goto for a Chinese takeaway.

My parents moved to Leigh in Nov and were looking for a decent Chinese takeaway. We tried this on a whim and wasn’t disappointed. All dishes were excellent especially the chicken balls & Singapore rice noodles my folks now have a reliable local. Staff gave my son a free coke which was a nice touch. Seems a lot of people only bother with bad reviews and I’m surprised more people haven’t commented how nice the food is as it was right up there.

I was recommend to try this Chinese takeaway by several people, so I took the gamble and try them, wow I wish I had know this before as it was amazing best service and fantastic flavoursome food. I will be a loyal customer and most definitely recommending to my other friends and family ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food is fantastic, customer service is great. Can't fault them. Their food is the best in Leigh-on-Sea. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Of you haven't tried them your missing out.

On a whim I chose Winns Takeaway, Its been around since 2003 and they say its the oldest Chinese in Leigh, Service good, Food....Never seen Pineapple in Szechuan Dish, but you will get Pineapple at Winns, Prawns had a gassy taste, far too much Red/Green Peppers, a disappointing dish, Fried wings also had a unusual twang in the batter, Crispy Beef contained no visible beef and did have a stale taste sadly, good ribs, Cash only no card payments, checked after and Hygiene rating low, can't recommend.

Food is nice however, their prices have drastically rocketed since the last time I ordered... last month! The meal I ordered for my family of 4 has gone from less than £50 to over £60. After challenging this price, they told me this apparently due to "covid ramping up the prices of meat on the market." They then had the cheek to slap on a delivery charge for a 5 minute drive! This is my preferred takeaway but I won't pay these high prices, especially in the current economical climate. Please reconsider your pricing.

Ordered quite a few times and can’t understand why that a extra £1 is added onto bill even though it’s above £12:50 delivery charge. I do enjoy the food and sometimes takes a while but writing this review as very very disappointing as waited over one and half hours for food and payed through PayPal. Called and told there is a problem with the computer and order taken over phone. So going to wait another forty five minutes to an hour. So so disappointed and sadly this will be the last time i ordered and will go with another local Chinese. No let’s give extra bits or next one on us. Bad management decision as will lose customer base.
