Hmmm but confused on this rating. Firstly I’d like to address the daylight robbery that is £1.25 for Mayo! I mean that’s bang out of order - is it even made in house? I doubt it. Then I come on to the nuggets - decent! Really enjoyed them! Great sauce, great selection and decent value - 7 nuggs for £6.10 - more than enough for dinner. But this is where I get confused - like how big are their wings? Like how is 3 wings enough as a portion(same price)? I’d prefer wings but 3 Vs 7 just didn’t compute. Fries great - £4.50, but I guess that’s life in 2025. Decent pint. Nice service. Good vibes. To conclude - I really liked it! But pricing brought them down from a 4 to a 3.

Yummy chicken nuggets with plenty of sauce options including spicy options like habanero/pineapple. I tried the spicy challenge sauce and I don't think I could compete but I can attest they know their sauces here. Highly recommend! Cool and friendly staff too

Easily one of must try places in Edinburgh. I find myself returning over and over again. The wings are fantastic quality and the sauce selection is unmatched. My go-tos are the ‘Ooft’ and ‘Pyong damn’. The atmosphere is incredibly chill and the staff are awesome.

Best chicken wings I’ve ever had in my life. The sauces are phenomenal and there’s about 30 of them. The hooch with a shot of tequila is delicious. The deep fried tortilla strips are also excellent.

A somewhat hidden place but very worth going to. Their menu does not have a great variety in terms of products, chicken wings, nuggets or their vegetarian version. But you have many sauces to choose from. We loved how well explained the menu is, with all levels of spiciness. We left super satisfied and we really liked the place inside. Furthermore, we think it has a very good price. We saw that there are people who also order their sauces to take them away. Super recommended.

The food was great and service was fast even on a sunday, hope to visit again and try more sauces.

Not what it used to be. Chicken wings were disgusting - didn't taste fresh and were not crispy or seasoned. The sauces all tasted the same and were too sweet. Staff were nice and fast service but would not come back. Sad because this used to be a great place but I struggled to eat my food.

This place is phenomenal. If I lived in Edinburgh, I would be here every day, trying a different flavour or four every day. I have never seen so many flavours of chicken wings with some very unique takes. The staff were welcoming and I loved the quirky decor. I would happily drive the 9 hours to eat here again.

Very good chicken wings with an insane variety of sauces! Wings and sauces were so yummy that we came here for dinner 3 times during our stay in Edinburgh. Mac & cheese and nuggets were good too but wings were the winner. Staff were really friendly and helpful with recommendations. Loved the quirky decorations of the restaurant as well.

Highly recommend stopping in here for some top quality wings and nuggets. The Korean BBQ, genghis khan and tatanka sauces were our highlights. Also the frickles are delish - recommend letting them cool a bit first 🔥 Vibes also feel like some friends got together were eating wings and drinking beers and thought “we should open a wing shop” - or at least that’s what I like to think as its origin story

Standard hipster esque vibes. Me and my pal felt the same about the food. Wings tasted like theyve been in the freezer awhile. Sauce options ok nothing to shout about. U can certainly get better for the price. Unlikely to repeat for me but big groups seems impressed. Try it for yourself ..staff attentive and speedy

Went in got ordered right away, helped me decide some really great sauce choices. The food doesn’t disappoint and the sauce doesn’t disappoint. Fully recommend anyone that wants to try new flavors for chicken nuggets!!

Nuggets and chicken wings in different sauces were pretty good, but mac n cheese for 6,10£ was disgusting. Felt like I was eating macaronies with some cheesy powder on top. Wasn't creamy at all. And also very expensive. Although waiters and other staff were lovely.

Not one to leave bad reviews but I dare anyone to look how dirty the restaurant is when they go in, sat in the corner next to a pillar. Pillar and window was caked in sauce that's been there a lot longer than the one day as the pillar has a fabric cover which I know they ain't cleaning hahahaha!... Price was reasonable considering the location but the service sucked bro, blue cheese was like milk and the honey mustard was just honey with a tickle of mustard... I get everyone has different ideas of how sauces are supposed to be and I get the restaurant can have their sauce whatever way they want... But bro, clean your restaurant!

Everything soaked in crazy amounts of sauce... ruined the food for us, would work way better as a dip. Everything was served in paper, wooden one way cuttlery, drinks in cans. All together not worth the price.

This place is not what it used to be...It was 3 chicken wings for 5.60£ and now 3 wings for 6.90£, at least make it 4-5 wings for such price. There was more choice of sauces in previous menus than now...Also customer services not as great...I'm not sure if they have changed owners but this place has lost quality...It's a shame.

Best wings I've had since Chicago, a bit expensive but bone-in is drum and flat together. Food came out piping hot and insanely fast, staff was lovely. House Buffalo sauce was superb as was the Habanero and Pineapple. My only critique was the Blue Cheese was runnier than I wanted. Highly recommend!

Best wings I had in my life and I been to a lot of countries

I loved this place. I have never been to wing spot with such an array of heat levels and types of hot sauce on the menu. We only went to heat level 7 out of 11 which was plenty for us. There are some seriously hot wings available here so choose carefully. If you're into wings this is an absolute must visit.

I've been on a couple dates here with my girlfriend and it's always nice food and a fun vibe, I like having been able to sit at the same table every time too cause it's never too busy.

The chicken wings were of decent size and crispy. In addition, you were given a generous amount of sauces... which might not be the best thing if you "accidentally" ordered the hotest sauce in the house. 🔥🥵😖

The old place was better and when they did strawberry daiquiris. The food and milkshakes are phenomenal

Great discovery for us. I loved the concept, you order wings and choose the sauces, the service was great and we also liked the place, when I return to Edinburgh I will return there.

At first I thought that the portion will be small but I ended up super full. There were 2 of us and we order 1 portion of wings, 3 portions of nuggets (quite big for me), and mac n cheese (moderate portion but just enough). Our sauces of choice based on rank: 1. Dance in the blue flame 👑🔥🧀 (it was very spicy even for my asian tongue, it burned your lips but balanced with the blue cheese) 2. Gene parmesan 3. Mardi gras madness (not really spicy but the dry rub attacked my nose) 4. Chickano (the most basic flavour IMO)

I hadn't been to the new place and especially the new outdoor seating area is so beautiful! I'd prefer better seating than wood benches. maybe add some throw pillows. Wings amazing as usual. took my friend for the first time and she was hooked! was a bit sad there's no chimichanga anymore.

We order according to how the menu is and the waitress gave something completely different. We ended up with an order we didn’t want to have and without the sides we were meant to get.

As amazing as ever - just had a couple of tubs of takeaway on the Mile. Nom! Plenty of napkins in the bag too - very mindful! Sadly Sauce is no more & please be aware that the venue has moved a few doors down from where it was / some of the pictures show but still quality as ever!

Been coming to wings for years. Great selection of sauces literally you'll find no where on earth with a selection like that. Great service, great advice. Also as a geek the decorations are amazing!

I visited this restaurant twice in less than 24,hours the food is tasty and the two girls that work there are the most beautiful girls I’ve ever seen in my whole life this is my favorite restaurant.

I love chicken wings and this place does some of the best sauces I've had in the world. So many choices too. Nice and cripy wings covered in your choice of sauce and or rubs. Seriously you've not had wings til you've been to Wings. My family are also all geeks and this is definitely a place themed to our liking in terms of decor too.

The price is a bit higher for the portion size, but the food is tasty, and the staff is very friendly. The interior of the place is also interesting.

Lovely little place with a great atmosphere. The food is great but be warned the portions are very small and it's not great value for money. The mozzarella sticks were over a fiver for 4 sticks, that is just atrocious!

I came across this restaurant when I was tired of eating in England. There was no service spirit in this country's cuisine, and no matter where I ate it, the taste was a little strange. But this store is different! Basically, the menu only has fried chicken and nuggets, but you'll be surprised by the variety of seasonings. A variety of flavors are available, ranging from flavors that appeal to everyone to unique (but addictive) flavors that may appeal to different tastes, so you can enjoy tasting and comparing multiple types. Great place! Highly recommend it! Wish we had a place like this at home. I will definitely come back again. The two gentlemen (Aidal and Tam) that served us did an excellent job and was professional.

Great food, loved the dry rub chicken wings. We tried the taster of the hot flaming wings challenge as suggested by the lovely serving lady ( she was right to test the hot sauce first )... whoever who did the challenge and succeeded, you are either professional or have a need for pain, crying, and / or sinus flush 😂. Loved the time. It's a bit on the pricy and cost approx 25 per person, but that's after eating stomach full and few beers.

This place is lovely. We found ourselves here during a heavy rainfall and we felt so cosy and warm inside. The food was lovely we left nothing and we will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming to Wings Edinburgh since I was a wee lad, and it’s a belter! The variety of wing flavours is unmatched, with over 90 sauces and rubs to pick from. The place has a proper vibrant, fun vibe with quirky art and themed tables that give it a unique charm. The staff are always friendly, and the service is 10/10. It’s the perfect spot for a casual meal with pals or family. Honestly, these are the best chicken wings to grace this fine Scottish soil. Wings Edinburgh feels like home to me. can’t recommend it enough!

Don't eat here, it's too expensive for a small portion. £6.50 for a small little bowl of 3-4 small wings. If you want to be full, u would need to order at least 4 bowls. And the taste is just the same at what you will have in any fast food chain. Feel like a scam to me. All in the picture costs us 18 quid.

Menu is really easy to understand and follow (staff able to assist). Recommend booking a table.

Excellent wings! - Crispy outer (not soggy), and not overdone inside. Huge list of flavours, sauces and rubs to choose from. Helpful staff. Quirky comic book wallpaper and similarly themed decorations. Being in Edinburgh's Old Town, the venue is a tight space as one would expect in this part of Edinburgh. The bathroom facilities could be improved. I've been back a few times.

The whole wings were amazing. I ordered the boneless nuggets because everyone raved about how crispy they were. Mine were not crispy at all. The flavors were really wonderful, would have been over the top good had they been crispy. The staff is top notch and the atmosphere is fun!

Disappointed. I was looking forward to Wings based on the reviews but my experience was not great. I was seated , items on the menu weren't available that I was interested in. Wings were decent , and sauce. Fries were fine. All was out within 10 minutes of ordering. Was then told they needed the table so the whole experience was about 25 / 30 minutes from seating to bill and very rushed.

Mediocre for the price, 3 wings for £5.90 is kinda crazy. The fella serving us was great but we were sort of rushed out the door by another member of staff and half of the stuff we wanted wasn't actually available on the menu, I understand transition periods but at least make the customer aware

This is me and my friends favourite place to meet the food is amazing they have spicy and non spicy options also always helpful and very fast service. Looks really cool inside my only issue is they need to clean the tables a bit better adter each customer sometimes it is very sticky.

Site has moved down the road so be aware when trying to find it, sign says wings and beer and you can see it from old building. I cant help be sad though the old place had such charm and the new place dosnt match up to the old atmosphere but i hands down guarentee the menu is as good as ever and they have added fried shrooms and frickles to menu yum! highley recomend. Love this place amazing atmosphere, great staff fantastic food, can't fault it. Menu is simplistic and with an abundance of sauce options it never gets boring. The drinks are equally different and creative its just such a lovely eating experience.

We arrived around 7pm on a Saturday, firstly there were visibly open tables inside and were still made to sit outside which was forgivable until the latter disregard for customer service. We were initially seated next to two rowdy tables, with no relation to each other. They were making controversial comments to and about the hostess, which arguably is not the staffs fault, but still from a company standpoint they should not have been allowed to reside at the premises. Next, we ordered and the food arrived within 25 minutes. The food, subpar and dry. The quantities followed suit. The mac and cheese is straight out of a canteen, and the sauces were drinkable with a straw. I found it wild that the nugget portion only equated to a portion no bigger than my hand, I completely do not fault staff again and think it is a company issue. To round this forgettable experience off, there was a lack of competency when it came to orders. When I went up to the bar to pay, I was surprised by the added charge from another table sat adjacent to us. If I hadn’t of noticed, I would have been charged an excess of £25. Therefore, i don’t believe that the food is worth the price they charge and the service is subpar.

Great experience, the wings are good, amongst the vast array of sauce and rubs available (90+) I've tried about a dozen, special mention to the Mardi gras and Thunderstruck sauce. Word to the wise, the wall of flame isn't for the faint of heart. Beer selection is great 👍 Staff is super friendly 🥰

I was here ages ago and loved it. I brought my family here last weekend, and despite changing the venue (2 doors down the street) they are still the best. Geekfest with a simple premise of good, simple food and great beers. Perfection.

This is a really cool place if you like chicken wings. Do may veriations to choose from. And if your into hot wings there is a large selection of them too from hot to insane. Areas inside are decided up into really cool areas such as Dr Who, Jerasic Park, Star Wars and do on. They even gave retro games consoles downstairs like the Super Nintendo and Mega Drive. If your into chicken wings and even a little bit geeky you will love it here. Really enjoyed our visit and will go again when next in Edinburgh. We revisited today after 5 years. It was in a new location just a little further down the sane street. But still great as always. We tried the milkshakes this time they are great. Service is still excellent too.

Visited for the first time after several months and its moved down the road. I hate to say this after being a huge wing fan and eaten here many times, however tonight was an extreme let down, fries and wings were not cooked the way they use to be. Crispy. chips and chicken both soggy and underdone. The sauces were ok, only thing that saved it. I'll go back and hope for a better experience.

Genuinely some of the best wings I've ever had. Good chicken, cooked to a delicious golden brown, with a diverse array of delicious sauces. I highly recommend it.

Has to be the best chicken wings in the UK! Wings are a good size with plenty of meat. Cooked so the chicken is moist yet has a light crispy coating. The choice of topping is mind blowing. They all sound amazing! Long John Silver is my recommended topping. I need that recipe in my life!!! Don't wear your best top... Your hands and face will be left sticky.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere and delicious food

Everything was so good!! Portions is great. Tried the chicken wings, chicken nugget and the cauliflower. Service was amazing. We ask for a recommendation for the sauce and they are very attentive. The cauliflower was amazing with the “tie something sauce” i forgot the name but it was a sweet spicy sauce. The mac and cheese also taste greats. Much love!!
