Good spot for a bit of dim sum and then a quick whizz round the supermarket for asian kitchen essentials. Staff in the supermarket are super helpful and polite.

You will not be disappointed for visiting this place. Apart from shopping in Wing Yip for cooking ingredients for oriental dishes, there is a Chinese Restaurant serving Dim Sum during lunch time and authentic Cantonese cuisine for dinner. If you wish to have a simple quick meal or freshly baked Hong Kong style bakery products, try the Cafe which is located inside the main store. For lovers of freshly made Bubble Tea, Wing Yip staff will be happy to give you the direction to a specialist shop in their store which will prepare the tea in line with your order.

Some good finds in this store, you can generally make a decent saving on products. They have a decent amount of halal meat products from their roasted ducks (Ducky’s Brand) and a 5KG box of chicken wings amongst other frozen snacks from cafe Asia branding. Love the Thai fish cakes from here. Staff are helpful and polite bar this one guy who belittled me and was impolite when I was asking for help, there was an undertone of … I felt from him. Otherwise usually a pleasant visit.

Kind of old fashion Chinese supermarket but has some good things to explore. The food places beside are also good. Shop and eat.

I always enjoy shopping at Wing Yip. It is always so tidy and clean. And of course they stock a wide variety of Asian foods, including fresh produce: meat, fish, vegetables and fruit.

Jin at the customer service desk has the worst customer service, sadly I will not be coming back as she is very rude, been coming for the last 3 years every weekend.

Its the place to go if you love Chinese cooking. Top quality fresh fish and meat, hundreds of unique condiments, well everything anyone would need. Being English its fascinating to visit and shop for authentic ingredients and be Immersed in everything Chinese. Plus you can eat in excellent restaurants on site.

Absolutely demonic parking restrictions. I go there daily to pick up my wife from the vicinity of this building and I promise they I'll fine you every day £100 for parking for 10 minutes even though there are 90% empty.

It has been a few times so I have decided to write a review to warn people. They often import a large quantity of the mushrooms and some have gone bad before the whole batch is sold out. Instead of binning those expired mushroom, they place them in the front for display. In fact I learnt to take from the back rows but was still unlucky a couple of times. So I have on various occasions bought bad mushrooms from them and have subsequently complained directly to the members of staff on my next visits. But each time they just said that I could take them back soon and they will refund me. But who working full-time has the time and energy to run back for a few packs of bad mushroom during the week?! No expiry date is provided on the package. Appalling practice by the merchant!

This place rules! We go regularly to get our noodle and dumpling shipment. It’s pretty expensive but if you’re looking for specialty stuff like potato starch (quite hard to find in this country for some reason), it’s excellent.

Desserts: Braised rice rolls, taro wedges, fresh bamboo rolls, fried shrimp vermicelli, shredded duck noodles.

Great store. Huge place with lots of aisles from rush and meat to snacks, huge range of things to buy. Brilliant, and there are two places, place to eat which is really nice 👍 and a bubble tea place with great bubble tea. Besides wing yip there is a dim sum place which is connected and is delicious, though it has very long queues so book before coming!

When I need larger asian shopping, we come here and we find everything we need from Chinese/Japanese and Korean food. I love the fish and the meat counter. After shopping we always have lunch in the restaurant and a boba tea. There is free parking too.

Lots of things no longer Chinese. Made in Holland or northern UK. Sweeter due to Dutch preference for sweeter things. The more popular it becomes, the more pricey it gets. Till staff are polite and there is NO LONGER ANYONE TO PACK FOR YOU. EVEN if, like me you walk on one leg. Never mistake the accuracy of conversation for being brusque or rude. The language is more precise/consise. They've put up signs in English as well as Chinese in every aisle🤗 They are starting to reduce the variety of selections. I have been coming to wing yip since 2008. More mainline supermarkets are starting to stock some of the same lines and at better prices. There are more corner stores + with less variety but cheaper prices. Wing yip still cheaper than Soho stores. BUT There is another super-wholsaler/ market not far away near blackbirds cross. People will start to go there more as wing yip variety decreases AND PRICES INCREASE. Some parking available. On site restaurant...... Expensive. Better choice in Soho's restaurants as there is more competition and more chefs.

Great Chinese supermarket serving the north London area. It is well stocked. It even has a fresh fish counter. For convenience, there is secure underground parking. Within the same building are 2 Chinese restaurants (one of which is also a Chinese bakery) and a bubble tea place. A great place to pick up your Chinese groceries and have lunch.

My hang out place for food shopping and food. Never fails and free car parking.

Rubbish service. Selling durian to death. I don’t admit it. An ugly Chinese after-sales manager has a disgusting expression. He doesn't deal with the problem. Instead, he angrily says that the customer doesn't understand the rules and that durian cannot be returned. One of the after-sales service staff said that it would be returned to the store within 30 minutes, and they blamed me for not calling that day. It's so fucking disgusting. It takes more than 30 minutes to drive home.

Best place to shop for Asian Oriental food. Great customer service team especially Lily all led by an Excellent Director Junny. They both went out of the way to get my order ready. Very Thankful to both of you and your team.

Large selection of products, but supply is unreliable, although this isn’t their fault. Some products are quite overpriced and doesn’t have some items which Chinatown would have. Cashiers sometimes scan items twice, so make sure to check your receipt before you leave.

It feels like a supermarket suitable for purchasing Chinese takeaway food. If it is a family purchase, the varieties are relatively simple. Personally, I prefer Tiantian Supermarket.

Went for a banquet, we had three tables in total. The food was nice and the service was excellent, the waitress serving us was accommodating and very friendly throughout.

The chilli sauce section alone is larger than a small shop. Possibly my favourite place on the planet apart from Tikal in Guatemala.

Great place to buy everything you need for Great Chinese food

Right opposite the new Brent Cross West, Thames link station. With frequent stopping trains. Wingtip is one of the first North London Oriental food venues. It not only has a great supermarket with fresh and frozen food and groceries but also a restaurant. At New year they had the traditional dragon and drum dance. They are also suppliers to trade so there is a warehouse area at the North end of the shop selling bulk sizes. Parking should not be a problem as there is a car park.

The store itself looks good, but no customer service in this place. The guy guide me to the wrong place twice. After his manager come, he said he doesn’t know the place. If you don’t know, why you waste my time. It is not bad if you just tell me you don’t know rather than waste me 30 mins for nothing!

I went to this Wing Yip Supermarket - Sunday, 25th March. It has been a long time, I haven't been back then. To my surprised. After their refurbishment. I find this supermarket is much cleaner, tidier and well organised. Where is easier to find frozen food you needed. Where are neatly stored. The attendants are more polite and helpful than before. I hope this supermarket continues to improve their customer service. Especially to the individual shoppers. Not shouting like in wet market. Especially it has been so beautifully refurnished. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

parking scam beware! be very very careful parking because the supermarket has employed a very very unfair parking Company which gives a £60 parking ticket if you are not parked straight, I believe this is a disgrace and unfair to their customers, also prices excluding VAT scam, terrible customer service, corrupt and unfair services, food overpriced. avoid, plenty of better and cheaper ASIAN STORES elsewhere.
