Wing Wah Takeaway in Wolverhampton

I would not recommend eating here. The food is extremely mediocre, the waiters and other staff are rude, they will generally laugh in your face if your ask for anything unusual (although to be fair, it's part of the culture). They only serve soft drinks in plastic glasses normally used for children. I do not normally write reviews but the persistent experience in this place warranted one. I would strongly advise not visiting Wing Wah and at the price they are charging almost anywhere else in the city would be a better choice. The food is simply rubbish. Everything has the same flavour and I am inclined to suspect huge amounts of MSG is used in everything. I am sure they even put it in the soft drinks and desserts. I would award this zero stars, but I can't I have to give it one star. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

i ordered online , food was amazing came quick while being piping hot. curry was AAamazing

The staff was rude! The food was raw and vile and it tasted like dog food. I understand that you are cooking dog meat and cat meat but at least make an effort to make it taste nice! Me and my brother got FOOD POISONING! And now I have to have special medication as I have a medical condition that makes me very very very sick and I have to go to the hospital and stay overnight and I expect a refund! And and apology from the staff!

I eat from this place at least once a month & it’s always great. Singapore fried rice & spring rolls are the best

Honestly wouldn't order from here again. Fried Rice was bland, beef curry looked like cat food and the colour was really off-putting. Chicken balls were greasy and flavourless. Cheap but I'd rather pay more for better quality

First time order mix meat in black bean sauce ex spice tace like water with bold meat 🍖

Ordered salt and pepper ribs, got tasteless ribs mixed in chili powder, no salt and pepper seasoning, no TASTE at all, phoned and was told that's what I ordered even after eating this for 30 years from the same place ... never again, binned the lot. I gave them one last go, ordered the ribs again, not sure whats changed but they just tasted of garlic, too much garlic! Horrible food.

Takeaway what more do you expect

After spending £60 plus ( as had families round) … no taste to it at all except salt 😡 Fried rice was watery & mushy, everything was vile won’t be using this place again .

They used to make it nice the woman lied to me about the price eventhough i knew it hasnt changed and she increased it and the food as i could tell was not made properly minutes after i ate the food i had diarrhoea. The rice was sloppy and looked as if an animal cooked it. Pardon my rudeness it was not good i was dizzy for the whole evening

Best Beef Curry - Egg Fried Rice ever! And really good on price, always so tender never chewy, this is the only place I will have my beef curry from....give it a try you won't be disappointed!

I've just had a chicken curry from here , the chicken was watery , not much taste in the curry and the prawn crackers were soft ☹☹☹☹☹ wasted £15

Amazing little Chinese takeaway, always eat from here every Saturday and food is always good and is at our front door in half an hour usually. Only downside really is that it’s cash only but don’t let that effect the rating!

Ordered special curry it tasted dreadful. Very gloopy and thick and hardly any taste. I wondered if they have changed the chef because Wing Wah is our usual takeaway and we've never had a problem before, their food is usually really nice.

Ordered on the weekend, food was average but felt overly greasy and my stomach was not feeling great the next morning. Just checked their food hygiene score and they are 1 star rated. Just wish I had known before ordering. Don't think I will be ordering again sorry.

Great chinese reasonably priced and always piping hot

Food is nice , actually ordering it now , but I have something to share with you , something that happened a couple of weeks ago coming from this takeaway , I ordered my stuff from there before , and took it home, when I got home I got it ready set it all out in front of me to start eating , I sprinkled salt and vinegar in it first even know there was already some on there, and then suddenly my chicken balls sudennly started moving and growing so I was creeped out by this and confused , the chips then started to make noises and jumping into the rice , this was all happening at once , my chicken balls then pulled out a knife on me so I ran , and all the chips and rice came chasing me down the stairs with there army and chicken balls where shooting at me like cannons , they invaded my whole house , so I got out and stayed away for a bit , they where all gone when I came back , phew !! That's the story so be careful when you get there food

Just had my food delivered, I order from these as they are quick and the food is lovely. I get a phone call from the driver telling me he's downstairs ( I live in a flat) and that the buzzer isn't working yet I had visitors an hour ago and it worked, collected my food off him to then press the buzzer myself and my partner said the buzzer went off therefore lying I don't appreiate liars, and shall not be ordering from here again

At one half decent it's gone down .... my order was salt and pepper chips Large Chicken curry Rice Chicken balls Order received 2×Normal chips Small curry And chicken balls How's that feed 3 and the order sent worked out cheaper than order ordered,second time in a row they messed up,so time to look for a new Chinese to order from after been a regular customer for years
