This hotel has never let me down, my only issue is that it is difficult to get to when walking from the station as a disabled individual. Cobbled streets and narrow paths and slatted wooden walkways can be difficult to navigate but, I know there's little the hotel can do about that. On the whole an immaculate hotel, very professional staff and a great night's sleep

When booking and choosing the meal deal (breakfast + 2 corse dinner) they don't tell you(even after multiple calls) the restaurant is always closed except for breakfast and seems to be a long standing issue (over 9 months)

Shame about the Blubrick being closed except for bookings from guests staying as it doesn't allow for guests to have late evening/night drinks or meals

What I can say about Premier Inn First the hotel is good not a good spot for a hotel tho the signal isn't great especially for WiFi it's not good at all but apart from the room it's self bed bathroom were good decent bed to sleep in nice clean bathroom and toilet smelt ok tidy inside staff when checking are good kind and attentive the inly bad experience I had were going for a evening drink opposite the hotel the pub called the blue brick that really deserves 1* probably not even that as we walked inside we about to order drinks they said the wasn't ready yet so we were asked to wait couple of minutes which I didn't mind turns out we waited 20mins just for them to change a barrel over excuse me it doesn't take 20mjns to change a barrel it's literally 5mins the lady who tried to serves wasn't really welcoming the look how she approaches me as if she thought not another customer I wanna go home came across very uncomfortable in the end I decided to leave and go back to my hotel room and chill out there but all I can say is good hotel but facilities for food and drinks atrocious NEVER RECOMMENDED just head into town for a meal and drink cause that would be ideal if your travelling like myself

Rooms are looking very old and tired... the bathroom is also not in an excellent state of repair. The room was clean but it felt like I was staying in a one star hotel abroad. Compared to the London Premier Inns this was its poor sister who is homeless. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and I'm really balanced in reviews as it's a business You also have to pay for ultimate WiFi which is shocking, I had to hot-spot my laptop from my work phone as the paid WiFi was awful.

Good spot for late night in Wolverhampton. Uber to KK Steel Mill was cheap enough. Parking discounted in reception £7 for 24 hrs at time of writing. Didn't do breakfast. Right next to the railway station if not driving.

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Wolverhampton City Centre and found it to be a solid, dependable choice for comfort and convenience for my short 2 night stay. The hotel is located right near the train station, super convenient. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the staff, and check-in was quick and seamless. The room was spacious and included all the essentials: a kettle, a TV, a work desk, and plenty of storage space, which made settling in easy. The bed was warm and cozy, with great lighting around the room. Cleanliness was clearly a priority, as my room was spotless. The Negatives: The main downside was the noise from above. The floorboards in the room seem to creak quite a bit, and I could hear footsteps as the guest moved around, which became a bit frustrating, especially during quieter hours. Overall: If you’re looking for a well-located hotel with spacious rooms, a friendly team, and essential amenities, this Premier Inn is a great pick. Just bring some earplugs in case you're sensitive to sound!

My wife and I stayed here this weekend for a wedding and reception which was being held at the Grand Station which is next door and hence it was an ideal location with plenty of parking (albeit it costs £7 a night for guests). The hotel room was in need of an update, it was very old, bathroom had mould in areas, toilet was discoloured to an off white colour and it just felt very unclean in general one of the pillows was yellowish in colour. The toilet was impossible to flush needed both hands with whole body power to get it to flush. We got in close to midnight from a long drive up to find a ball of someone’s hair inside the bed covers and other smaller hairs dotted around the bed. We asked for the sheets to be changed and cleaned the next morning but they were not and we were told that the cleaners don’t change the sheets if anything was on the bed, there was only my wife’s pyjamas on the bed and it was evident the room had not even been entered by the cleaners when we got back in the late afternoon because the bathroom was still exactly how we left it and nothing had been done. We were then told that housekeeping had left so they couldn’t change the sheets for our second night. As you can imagine we didn’t have the best sleep for both nights. Having stayed at plenty of premier inns in the past. This experience has definitely made us no longer want to use the brand.

Hotel situated right near train station which is great. Staff really friendly especially Anna. Nice big family room. Clean. Food at restaurant good. Breakfast good but maybe few more options needed. My only downside was that Wolverhampton isn’t great but it’s quite easy to get to

Premier inn hotel is always my first choice of accommodation wherever I go. Wolverhampton is no exception but the only thing that puzzles me was how the hell did they put the main entrance on the back of the building. I find it a bit weird. Overall the hotel room is well kept clean and tidy. The WiFi of premier Inn is always the main problem when it comes to inconvenience. Very frustrating when the WiFi disconnects you every 5 mins. I hope the management team would sort this out.

It's a Premier Inn. You always get a comfy bed in simple clean surroundings. The pub next door is good, I had dinner and no complaints. Staff were friendly and helpful. The area was a bit a rough around the hotel so I definitely was not leaving the hotel at night but had a good night's sleep in the hotel.

The hotel has that Premier Inn standard. It was OK and I loved that my daughter had her bed and oh she loves it. When I requested for an iron they brought it with the ironing board and I was able to look tidy for my event without an additional cost. There is parking space but after an 1 hr there is a 3pounds fee.

My wife booked a room at Premier Inn to do a photoshoot for my birthday in our room. We invited the make up artiste and the photographer to meet with us there. When we got there, the make up artiste was allowed to go in with us when we lodged in but shortly after, she left to pick up one of the tools she forgot to come with. While we were waiting for her, the photographer got to the reception and called that he wasn't let in. So I went to the reception to ask them what was the issue. They said we are not allowed to be more than two in a room at a time. I was very surprised because we didn't know all these before we booked the hotel especially because the only reason we agreed to book the room in the first place was solely for the photoshoot and not for relaxation. The reception at that time insisted that he couldn't go in as these are stated in their Terms and Condition. What was in these terms which was shown to us only stated that not more than 2 'occupants' would be allowed in the room but it didn't state the word 'visitors' are not allowed, so it felt very awkward. I asked that the receptionist(s) give us other possible option and they said we could set up at the lobby which was what we did eventually. I must however mention that while I and the photographer were looking around for options beyond the reception, the make-up artist came back and walked in to the room where my wife was without anyone asking her any questions. On getting back upstairs, I saw the makeup artist and wondered how she got back up and she said no one asked her any questions. And since she had already started my wife's makeup before i got back, I simply didn't bother asking them to go back downstairs as i felt she was allowed in. The makeup session continued in our room upstairs for a while (about 2hrs:30mins) while the photographer set up and started taking my shots first while we waited for them to be done. Once my wife and the make-up artiste were done, they came to the reception where this shoot was happening and the make-up artiste passed the front of the two available receptionists without any questioning at first. When she now walked back to talk to us, one of the receptionists then asked her at that time if she was with us and she honestly said yes. It was at that moment that the whole trouble started and we were asked to leave the hotel as we had 'violated' the hotel's conditions without being allowed to sleep in or get a refund. The receptionists also threatened to call the police because we chose to ask questions on why we as guests were asked to leave and not just the makeup artist and the photographer alone. This I believe is so unfair and I believe we were treated unjustly especially as we had paid 51 pounds for the room, lodged in at 4pm and were asked to leave 5hrs after. It occurred on: 25/03/2024 This meant that This upset my wife and i really bad and it affected my 40th birthday plans terribly. Our moods were seriously damped and our mental health was hugely affected. I believe strongly that we suffered racist abuse from the receptionists. This is because, despite not being told that there are no visitors allowed to visit us before we booked or checked in, we still apologized and tried to appeal to them to consider but they kept insisting that we did something wrong and we had to leave the premises and even threatened us with police. My wife is still upset as i speak. We deserve our full refund, an apology from Premier Inn, and compensation for ruining our night and my birthday

Absolutely shocking. Although the train station platform is only 50y yards away from the hotel it took me over 25 minutes to walk to the station! What the hell is that all about? It's a bit like living in a 4th world country! Unless you've got a car forget it. Otherwise if you try to walk, it's a muggers paradise! The hotel ain't great either.

None of the windows in this hotel open, meaning the air is so unbreathable I for one could not sleep. Additionally, my room smelled so extremely of bug spray that the air I was breathing felt chemical. The air con kept coming up with an error message, but while it seemed to work it didn’t really make the air any less dense. Eventually, as I couldn’t sleep due to this, I opened my room door to let some of the slightly fresher hallway air in - but almost instantly had someone come and close the door, as it’s a fire door they wouldn’t allow me to keep it open. Never mind breathing, let’s worry more about inconsequential door definitions! Absolutely terrible, and the guy closing the door was not helpful at all either as i told him I couldn’t breathe all he said was „I need to close the door“ - no offer of having a look at the air con or helping me.

very basic and just gets the job done. no rear exit to the train station so you have to walk all around the station becoming a 10 min walk even though it's literally right next to it

I had a nice room. Clean and spacious. The BIG problem with this hotel is WiFi. The WiFi is terrible. I actually had no Internet at all for the first 3 days then when I finally got connected its slower than a 1990 dial up connection. Takes minutes to load up a picture. The other BIG problem is that the second you enter the hotel you lose phone signal so you can't even get online with your phone. We actually had to stand outside the hotel to order a justeat. A workmate actually ordered their ultimate WiFi and it didn't work.
