Wimpy in Three Rivers

Bought 2 x kids meals using Uber Eats priority..took 35 mins to deliver although in fairness Uber did send a 5 pound voucher as an apology..When food arrived it was stone cold but also the kids chip portion was ridiculously small. Spoke to Wimpy Rickmansworth manager who was rude and ignorant and told me “kids portions are small” We have used this restaurant on many many occasions over last 3 years so know exactly what size kids portions usually are from them. Anyway will not be using them again following the rudeness of the manager ..

I don’t often indulge in fast food but when I do, it’s always the Wimpy. They have a good range of veggie burgers and the new vegan burger is one of the best I’ve tried. Chips are always crispy and hot too! I’m actually currently nursing a food baby after another delicious meal here haha. Lovely staff, service is always brilliant, can’t go wrong!

My manager took some of our team to Wimpy and had a fantastic evening, Reminiscing as Wimpy is a childhood restaurant memory for them all. Food was hot, freshly cooked and tasty. Staff were friendly, helpful and this helped to make a great evening. Highly recommend

I was hoping to grab some lunch from wimpy and place I love and the manager refused to let me use the toilet even after I explained I was dining there. Extremely embarrassed Infront of the other customers I explained that once I’d been to the toilet I was going to eat there. He said and I quote “it’s not about the money mate. You should ask first” this was in front of about 6 customers and made me feel extremely sad. I then walked out and refused to purchase food there despite it being my favourite place to eat. Please can this manager refrain from being so abusive and acting as if he owns the establishment. That would be great and I’d love to return some day soon. Sad regards unhappy customer.

Title says it all. This is the worst quality food one could come across. Grey processed tasteless everything.

I spotted a Wimpy in Ricky and decided to give it a go. The chap who I think was the owner was really friendly. He said food would be 9 mins to be ready . Bang on time. I took away and parked up. Opened bag and there was ketchup and salt and 3 or 4 napkins. Chips really hot and burger was alright . I had a shake which I enjoyed. Not expensive and met my expectations. Will pass by again.

We have been going here for a while now and although a little trek from where we live well worth the effort. The staff, and in particular the manager, are always very friendly and polite and the food is always excellent and what you expect from a wimpy.

Visited an old time favourite chain, first time in this branch. Clean throughout although a bit chilly. The breakfast was excellent with the famous bendy sausage, an old favourite of mine. The tea was a bit weak, but overall a good experience. Staff friendly and attentive. Would go again, although a bit of a trek to get here.

Took my son here for his forst ever Wimpy, service was friendly and quick, the restaurant was a little chilly inside but we didn't mind, we have been many times since!

We came here for lunch in the middle of our shift. Excellent customer service. We both had cheese toastier and side salad Well presented and tasted good too Lovely friendly atmosphere. Ange served us she was brilliant. I would definitely recommend everyone to call in here

Late breakfast enjoyable and good service. Modest proportions but tasty, particularly with extra hash browns. Friendly service.

With so many drive thru's and 'gourmet' offerings when it comes to burgers, it's easy to forget an institution like Wimpy. Perhaps it's something to do with the brand that doesn't exactly inspire 'quality'. Our experience of this particular branch completely changed that perception. Firstly, excellent customer centric service. We went with our two children aged 7 and 12 and staff went out of their way to engage with then. Secondly, the kitchen is open. No hiding behind doors, it's happening in front of you. Thirdly, it tasted great with large portions. Quality ingredients with fresh buns, salad, sides - regardless of whether they were/weren't pre-packed, it felt a cut above most burger chains. It is more expensive than the likes of MacDonalds and occupies a different part of the market but interestingly, I think most consumers would think that both brands have similar customer audiences. Our visit changed our views on Wimpy and we will be back again.

Wimpy's are becoming scarce unfortunately. I've been a fan of Wimpy since 1986 but the food I was served here didn't taste like Wimpy's?

The burgers were amazing, very filling and I would say better than McDonald’s!! The waffles melted in my mouth. I haven’t had a decent waffle since I was 5 ( 5 years ago ) . Yes I am ten, don’t judge me. Though I go wherever I want as I am 5 foot 6. I live in: Rhodanthe The Vale London N14 6HN England

Asked if the meat was halal as wanted to eat and know from my memory these people look Turkish so I assumed they're muslim. When I asked he rudely and bluntly said "This is a UK Food Chain bruv" Which is fine, although not true. Wimpy was founded in America over 80 years ago and have plenty of halal services in USA, it's original home. Anyway, I asked why he is speaking to me so rudely and he replied "I like being rude, it's how life works" He was laughing and rude then played videos down the phone to my sister when she called to speak as he had threatened to call police (For no reason). The manager is a disgusting piece of work and he knows it, I grew up knowing these people as some of my family ate here all the time and to be treated this way 18 years later is disgusting! Do NOT reccomend this place to anybody they will not treat you nicely unless you are doing everything their way, driving down to buy and not complaining. If you collect and then find out something is missing they will not care! Sorry but it is not acceptable in UK to act this way to anyone, let alone customers!

Rung the store to ask if their branch was halaal as I couldn't find out on their website and was given to the manager who said "this is a UK food chain bruv". When I asked why he felt the need to be so rude he said "because I like being rude, it's how the world works" and was then played ridiculously pathetic videos down the phone for 2 minutes until he cut off.His lack of intelligence, his ignorance and his lack of professionalism as a MANAGER is beyond a shock in this day and age. Unreal.I've visited this branch on numerous occasions and the manager is often just sitting drinking whiskey at work! He looks like he's on drugs and not 100% with it majority of the time, which is a shame because the rest off the staff are lovely and the food is ok, but the manager is a put off. I've asked in McDonald's if they're halaal before and was given a more professional response! Do NOT recommend this branch, give your money somewhere else where a little bratty, uneducated, ignorant yout isn't the manager!

After visiting the Ricky festival me and a mate stopped at this wimpy for a trip down memory lane .!! The place was quiet so we placed our order and were seated straight away ! The burgers were nearly as I rembered them 40 years. Back !! All in all good although a bit pricey !! The loos were clean as was the restaurant .will return sometime .

My youngest has wanted to come here for ages , often asking when we drive past if we can go in. We I gave in finally and we went on s school snowday. The food was ok but the staff were really lovely and friendly and very attentive with the children. Plus it was great value for money!! We will be back x

This is a family favourite for special treats. Good, fresh food, friendly staff and a really clean restaurant. Only downside is that the music tv could be turned down a smidgeon as it seems to be on more for the staff's entertainment.

After a very bad experience at the steak night pennsylvania Rickmansworth I went to the Wimpy .what a meal outstanding staff spotless clean will be going back again A credit to the management.

Took the Grandchildren for a treat, they loved it and the staff were lovely, really helpful. I only had a toasted tea cake and coffee, but the kids ate all their food so no complaints.

Food is always cooked from fresh, very tasty! Staff are very polite, professional and friendly! The atmosphere is so relaxing!

Having childhood memories of Wimpy I was surprised to see them still in business. Can't be many of them left now and it's easy to see why. Times have moved on, sadly Wimpy hasnt.

Even though this branch is not local to us, we always make the effort to travel here due to the amazing staff. From the moment we walked in with our child, nothing was too much trouble. Even when we were leaving they gave our child...

Traveled all the way from sunny Blackpool just to try out a wimpy burger, well it was more than worth it very friendly staff they were brilliant it was my girlfriends birthday so we went with her sister and dad and they lit a candle on a cake for her can't fault these guys!! Also the milkshakes are the real deal

Went here as the kids wanted a quick lunch, yup it's a Wimpy alright, standard menu, standard food, standard decor.

When I first visited in Nov 2016, it was good.& I rated it as such. I went back mid Dec and it was, honestly GHASTLY! The food was so overcooked, it was inedible. I'm a lousy cook, but even I can do better than that! AVOID this place, or put up with dreadful indigestion, if you can actually face eating the food! Don't waste your money or your time going here!

Came in with my family to try out Wimpys as we were in the area. I have to say, upon watching the staff whilst waiting for our food to arrive and even between conversations with my family, this Wimpy branch beats a lot of service's I have received!!The staff make you feel welcome and comfortable, treating each customer like they were known to them for years. They made us laugh and smile which is uncommon in restaurants. The manager was hands on with orders and we could hear him talking to the little toddlers, giving them balloons and stickers. Food was served very quickly and tasty with the sauces they offer with the burgers. The menu has a large variety so their is something for everyone. The chips are super tasty and now I think I may drive over just for that!!! I would def recommend them to my friends and other family members as I know they won't be let down by the food and def the staff. :)

Great place - food, staff, cleanliness, service - all excellent. Staff will help, it's wheelchair friendly. There's a happy atmosphere about the place. Toilets spotless. Food v nice especially the bacon!

I used to hate Wimpys with their overcooked food. But this Wimpy is the complete opposite! Food is fresh, of excellent quality and cooked with care. Portions are a good size and absolutely delicious. Staff are great too, friendly and cheerful, especially Claudia. No problem is too great for them, they are never too busy to check that you have everything you want and that the food is to your taste. We keep going back, it's so good!

I visit this place for the first time with my family due to a recommendation from a friend. I highly recommended the international grill its was massive. Good atmosphere and it a children friendly. I must also note the staff are very much on point ensure we are happy with our food

I suffer from anxiety but I meet up with my best friend here whenever we get the chance but try to visit weekly. I was made to feel at home the minute we stepped through the door which put me immediately at ease. A lovely welcome as soon as you arrive and outstanding food and service. Staff are fantastic and nothing is too much for them. The best Wimpy ever visited. Thank You.

This is by far the best wimpy I have ever been too! Everything about it is brilliant and I am now turning into a more regular customer because of it. The staff are always beyond exceptional, I am always felt welcomed and wanted whether I am popping in for a coffee or going in for a full meal with some family or friends. The service is always perfect, regardless of the time of day. It can be almost full and I never feel I'm waiting long for my order. I find the restaurant always has a nice atmosphere in and around it, and it's brilliant to go into a place where it is always looking spotless. The staff are always quick to clean and it shows. I don't think I've ever been in the place and there be a glass or a plate still lurking on a table. There's not many places I can say that about. Lastly, I don't think you can beat it for value for money. It's not expensive at all when you compare with like for like restaurants. Overall, in case you haven't realised by now, I think the wimpy here is exceptional. And I would recommend it to every single person I speak to if they want a tasty simple meal which is quick and convenient. I cannot speak highly enough of it.

It's a long time since I have visited a Wimpy but the food and service were excellent and they have differentiated themselves from fast food outlets with table service and good quality .

Staff always happy and helpful spotless clean excellent food a lot better than the big M and the coffee is proper not like some out of a machine.

We live in Hayes and travel to Rickmansworth Wimpy - Josh Claudia Jess and all the staff are fantastic, the banter is good, atmosphere is friendly, food is amazing. Everything is spotless. Children are always welcomed and they love it - Once you have been once - you will go back for more.

We went here before the Ricky Boat festival....what a lovely surprise, great service, fast food of a quality much better to its American competitors.....genuinely felt the need to review....we will be back.....(:

Staff are brilliant with kids and make your visit fun. They also look after the parents offering free refills on coffees ! Good choice on the menu and prompt service

Nice to come here when you fancy some fast food that's not from one of the bigger brands. The menu range is very good and there is even a seated service if you fancy eating in.Service was good although the waiting time for your food is a bit slow compared with what you expect from a fast food joint.

I had been to the hospital visiting and fancied something quick on the way home. I called into the Wimpy on Moneyhill Parade. I was offered. Coffee while I waited! The burger was hot and tasty. Well done guys

Good old fashioned restaurant, staff are incredible and very friendly every time we visit. They do not make pancakes normally but made them specially for us this Shrove Tuesday. Very happy and will always return

all the old favourites that have been around a long time & some newer ones we love it & so do the grandchildren

Myself and my son go there from time to time. I know it's only a wimpy but it's always a great experience with very friendly staff and good food

Took my children here for lunch while in the area, my first Wimpy visit since the 80's.Fast food with great service, kids loved their burgers & little kids menu was a hit with my youngest. Great choice and the milkshakes were old fashionedly good!Waitress was lovely, very attentive & was great with all the children in the restaurant.
