With a plethora of places of eat in Clapham, Willows really does stand out, the menu is curated to perfection, with a perfect blend of small plates to pick from. The sirloin steak is delicious, the cocktails - in particular the Bakewell martini, are to die for. If you save room for dessert, I recommend the malted white chocolate mousse. 10/10 service from Juan and I will be returning very soon.

A great breakfast concept, where you pick all the components and build your own board. Every dish was delicious, and service was quick and friendly. They also do a great boozy hot chocolate, which was excellent.

We had dinner at Willows last night to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We’d been before for their gorgeous brunch but had never experienced the evening menu and o-m-g everything was to die for. The butter beans were sensational. The sirloin steak was mouth-watering. And the cocktails were divine! I couldn’t stop with the cucumber margaritas. My friend had an apple pie flavoured cocktail which was also delicious. Service was also 10/10 - staff were so friendly and beyond accommodating. Already planning our next trip!

There is no shortage of places to eat in Clapham some good, some bad and many mediocre. Willows has been around for a while now and I'm not sure quite why it took us so long to give it a try. I'd viewed it more as a brunch spot than a place to have an evening meal which I suspect was the reason for having not visited sooner. Anyway, to the meal - you pick from a list of 'smorgasbord' plates; hot, cold, greens and sweet (desserts) priced from 5-11 pounds and between 3 and 4 plates per person the recommendation. All the dishes we chose were very good, but the absolute highlight was the Baron Bigod cheese dish. Gooey warm cheese with honey and rosemary to dip sourdough bread into. It was bloody lovely. Service was first class and you can see how passionate and caring the owners are. Most surprisingly was the bill - less than £100 for 6 plates, a bottle of wine and dessert. For Clapham Old Town that's an absolute steal. Will definitely go back.
