Willow Garden Chinese Takeaway in Peterborough

Used to use willow garden years ago but have just had 2 recent visits. The food was fantastic both times and will be visiting again

Awful food far to salty 😫 won't be ordering again

Just ordered duck and rice Rice and chips with sweet and sour sauce One the duck was just fall of fat barely any meant on the dish Rice and chips the chips was covered in sweet and sour sauce literally the chips was mostly hard

Absolutely cracking food and the staff are really great I've ordered a few times now and I must it's always on time and always piping hot and ive also used them as a teenager as last post said and you really can't tell the difference in quality since 30 years ago truly fantastic

This Chinese has been here since I was a teenager and that's 30 years ago, the food was good then but now......... its of the scale just ordered the 10' Salt and Pepper Box for around £14 , now I would say if you like to try a little of everything order this , there's enough for two people, what do you get, spicy chips, salt and pepper chicken, spring rolls, 4 chicken balls, fried rice spare ribs, now I can eat and I couldn't finish it on my own, try it you'll love it

We have been using Willow Garden for years & honestly think they are one of the best Chinese takeaways in Peterborough.

Would not recommend. The meat was chewy and overdone, the chicken balls were small and the chips just weren’t nice.

Munch box is really tasty and good value only problem here is they are so tight they don't have enough drivers the food takes hours to deliver so if ur in a hurry or starving order something else or collect it yourself..overall food is good though

Found it very greasy lacking in flavor. Not the best Chinese Take Away that we've had. Had to throw what was left and that was most of it out. The place itself looked clean, the young lad who served me seemed not interested but more interested in what ever he was watching onscreen. He wasn't rude but no people skills.

It states free delivery on website menus yet they wanted to charge me. I said when they take it off I will pay but not when they advertise its free.

Got a big order tonight £100 + worth for my family and spare ribs where burnt and ships went cooked and chicken balls where like chewing a brick horrible food ask for a refund they wanted me to go in the bin and bring the food back not a chance never be using these again

Cheap, good food for a take-away.Big noodle dish portions. Recommended for a local takeaway in Peterborough. Can get quite busy on delivery orders at weekend evenings so give it plenty of time.

Quality of meals varies each time, not the cheapest place in the city and does not accept card payments.

Alright while they getting your money, but if you have a problem with the food or order, will that's when you get to know the real owner. Customer is wrong at this place what we say is wrong, we don't know what we've ordered so you as customer has it wrong..... Then you get to hear the real people they are arragant and rude. Please if this is your first time go elsewhere.

They are delivered wrong food. Not very tasty and small portion.

Don’t take card payment at the shop. But phone orders can be by card.! Waste of time. How about a notice in the door??? That would help!!

Good variety of food well cooked

Food is good, competitively priced and quick when you call in to collect. The staff always seem friendly and there is a small waiting area with papers to entertain you while you wait after ordering.

We have used this Chinese take away for over 25 years and i can honestly say with the brilliant service we have had over them 25 years from all previous owners but this one is the worst! Our food took 2 hrs for delivery then arrived cold. They offered to discount my food by £3. Will never used these again. Just eat app gets you a better bargain and deliver food on time.

awful food, crispy shredded chilli beef so severally burnt! Chicken balls were small overfried and looked as if we had been given scraps. This food was very dissapointing! Will now stick with my old faithful happy dragon will not be buying from willow garden again!!

This is the best Chinese I've had in Peterborough. Food tastes great all the time. They deliver on time if you prefer the home delivery option.

Had not eaten from here for approx 15 years as it changed owners and wasn't very good. Thought I would try it as time has gone by and it may have changed but still wasn't very nice so would never visit again. Sort to the owners but it is my opinion.

First time i have ordered from this place tonight and im.not 1 to write reviews but my god this was the worst food i have ever eaten i litually put it in my dogs bowl and he didnt eat it the chicken wasnt cooked properly the bbq sauce was so bland more flavour in water . The chicken balls well the batter they use tastes like absolute dog s**t i hope nobody has the same experience as i just have
