Food was fine. Service was great the waitress was attentive. The offer on the beer was a bonus this time

Was out in Ayr and popped in here for lunch with partner and 2kids The woman and man who dealt with us was very pleasant Me and my partner got a steak And kids got soup and burger chips I would highly recommend this place Reasonably priced also Will be back when we are back down ayr Thank you.

Food is lovely and good value for money

The pub is large with a segregated dinning area. The burger and lasagna were decent enough. The daughter was very reasonably priced.

Had a bad experience a couple of years ago but decided to give it another chance yesterday but unfortunately the food was just as bad. Sent my meal back because the chicken looked a weird colour so opted for the macaroni which was so bland. Definitely will not be giving it another chance. Nice bar for a drink though, bar prices are reasonable.

Went there on Saturday night for our 51st wedding anniversary. Hubby was very disappointed that there was no steak pie left. I had lasagne which was good But so, so very noisy as football was on and there was a group of guys that were shouting all the time and also swearing. It spoiled our night. Don't think it's a good idea to have diners and sports fans sitting nearby. Having said that, we go regularly midweek and it's a great place for a quiet drink. Will avoid dining there on a Saturday night in future.

Great pub,awesome staff, 100% value for money. Really enjoyed our time in there.

Food was good but I don't think they know what a brushetta is compared to toast

My brushetta was a piece of toast and my loaded chips was a sweet soggy mess but my husbands teriyaki salmon was out of this world! Despite a couple of awful dishes, Willie's still gets a 5* all round from me and is my no1 place in Ayr. X

Was in for a drink and a meal with two of my mates after Ayr Races on Saturday , Then again with my wife before going to a show at Gaiety Theatre on Wednesday , great food and great service both nights .

Dined last night before a show in the Town Hall. There was 4 of us and each meal and pudding was delicious. We could not fault it at all. We went back this morning for Breakfast and were not dissappointed. Will definitely be back.

Good pub and food,Was asked to leave on Monday night about 8pm as they said there had been a incident earlier.Guess they want to go home early to watch the Euros hey.

Great place, good atmosphere just don't go there re: Thursday onwards as disco was setting up and so so noisy otherwise great venue.

disgusting customer service ..bullying and being rude to customers ..complained about meal and prices ..waitress not doing her job and was told that i had complained before on another occasion ..total lies this place is a shambles and so called manager that dealt with this was arrogant and nasty ..will not be back surprised they have any customers

On Saturday 30.03.24 we pop in to get lunch and a couple of drinks,were happy enough to get us seated straight away even though we never booked and it was on a busy bank holiday weekend.The food was good.I ordered the steak with chips staff happy enough to add broccoli to my lunch and my friend got the chicken pie also really good , excellent atmosphere and enough staff on to cover the busy day .

Me and my deaf friend attended the restaurant - and found the service to be quite good Granted the young lady who greeted us looked a bit terrified when my friend started signing asking for a table for 2; but we were served by a lovely girl Rachel - she was very attentive and patient and we were both very impressed with her attention to deaf awareness ; and when my friend asked in sign about where the toilet was she worked out what he was asking … overall very impressed : I did ask Rachel if she knew BSL and she said she didn’t speak it but remembered bits she had learned while at school … overall a very enjoyable experience for me and my deaf friend … would definitely reccomend again!!

Well fitted out and the drinks were inexpensive.

Went with my work mates for a girls day out, we all ordered different things from the menu and all the food was delicious. Great price, great quality and drinks prices very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this pub.

We came for Sunday breakfast .1 Scottish breakfast .2American breakfasts 2 teas ,1 coffee.The booth was large and comfy.The service was fast efficient and attentive from our server.We all enjoyed our breaks the price is excellent .We will return nxt sunday

Food is really tasty, plenty of options too. Kids menu is the normal nuggets etc, would have been nice to see a little more variety. Not too expensive, and in a good location.

Really nice bar area, good choice for food and drinks, however, they are dog friendly but you are made to sit right at the back with no atmosphere and the main thoroughfares for both the toilets and the kitchen.

Fast friendly service, great atmosphere. Chicken tempura very pale and not great. Mac and cheese and chicken tikka pasta were nice. Would visit again.

What a bar from the outside this place is very deceiving however when you get inside the place is massive, it's very clean and well presented with good service nice atmosphere and reasonable prices I will definitely return and would definitely recommend.👍

Came here today for some food, I ordered gluten free fish and chips and partner and his family ordered paninis. Friendly service from the moment we entered, and food was amazing! Will definitely be back!

Arrived without a reservation on a very busy afternoon, but staff did their utmost to secure a table for two - from the outset, service was excellent. The menu was extensive and our food was fantastic - freshly cooked and piping hot. Without doubt, Willie Wastles will now be our new 'go to' in Ayr - a superbly run bar / restaurant, by a local family.

Went yesterday from the east coast didn't expect it to be so warm so couldn't walk our dog Ended up in Willie Wastles for lunch was lovely food served quickly (not too quickly so it felt rushed) We had nachos to share My girlfriend had macaroni cheese with side of chips and a coke I had Pasa which was fab food was moreish and plenty of it. Bonus that my dog was well catered for too and the kitchen staff loved coming out to see him (which he loves)

Booked a table today for 17:30pm, turned up 5 minutes before and was kept waiting for 10minutes. 1 person working at the bar, no waiters/waitresses on the floor whatsoever. Absolute disgrace, will not be back!.

Good bar one negative, the barmaid wet round the tables where LOCALS were sitting and handed out bowls of chips to share...walked past our table...not good😭

Food wasn’t good at all, the mac and cheese was okay but it wasn’t actually myself eating it, it was my child eating it , we also ordered 2 lamb Christmas dinners and the lamb was not good at all, also asked for a jug of water and every cup that we were giving was dirty one had hairs on it, the lady that was serving us was lovely and couldn’t be anymore apologetic, for what we ordered and for the standard of the food was not worth £81.00

Went there tonight with my partner. Took almost 10 minutes to get noticed and served for a drink. Took almost 45 minutes for main courses to arrive despite others arriving after us getting served first. Complained to staff at the end. 1 star is being generous, very dissatisfied and won’t be back!

Great big bar, serving a selection of food as well as drinks. Quickly put together a large table for our group of 12, which was helpful. Lots of TV's as sports screens. Fast & friendly service. Dog friendly too.

were in for lunch today, the waitress that served us had a bit off attitude with us. The tempura chicken was sodden with grease and the batter had no colour at all, the macaroni was just a bowl of wet pasta with melted cheese on top. When we went to pay the same waitress acknowledge our complaint but said we still had to pay for the so called macaroni. Needless to say we will not be back.

Have to say the outside wouldn't pull you in but don't be fooled, the food was great 😁 well worth a visit. As pub food goes this was delicious and didn't break the bank. Would recommend if your in the area 😁 Staff were friendly and cleaned every table properly after each sitting. Well done guys 😁

Hadn't been in for a while,but was pleasantly surprised as food was much better than before,very enjoyable and great selection.

Food is good and it’s not to pricey however the past twice I have been in the staff member who served us didn’t write the order down and the food came and it wasn’t as was asked. After this the same member of staff was heard complaining about being told she was wrong and then was passing comments to a member of staff whom had just started. I mean considering it’s a public place maybe teaching your staff manners would be a start.

Such a good place to come for food. We come all the time. The owners are lovely and the staff are really good at their job. Alcohol and food prices are very reasonable, i would highly recommend.

Me and my partner went for a meal the other day.Macaroni cheese was ok but was nothing special we had chips and garlic bread, a bottle of Budweiser and a Larger and lime.£26.40 daylight robbery. Won't be back.

The bar was nice and clean but the chef there has an attitude problem I am allergic to table and cooking salt only to say to the waiter could u not put on menu they use salt to cook he then passed messege on to chef who then stormed out of kitchen n started shouting there's salt in bacon yes there is but it's added salt already in bacon its not table or cooking salt obviously the chef does not know the difference of salt I do not think I will be back as too much table or cooking salt can end up doing me alot of damage to my life no place I know uses cooking salt on chips anymore for chips

Young man who served us was lovely but your chef has an attitude problem, she drowns the chips in salt ,when my partner's dad pointed out his son was allergic to table salt and it should be pointed out the chips are salted on the menu (which they shouldn't be the salt should be on the table as a choice to add) she came up with a condescending tone pointing out there is salt in the bacon blah blah, yeah if your own chef doesn't know the difference between natural salt in food and table salt then she shouldn't be a chef , lovely pub ,lovely staff brought down by a bad chef with a bad attitude and zero customer service skills.

Nice pub & always nip in for a few drinks while visiting Ayr. Just a pity the tables are full of dirty glasses, cups, plates etc & been like that for a couple of hours now. Makes me wonder what other things are being missed!!

Quite simply the best bar and restaurant in Ayr! What more can I say? The best food, the best staff!
