Visited for breakfast with my children. The food was nothing special at all. Seems as though they are going for more of a grubby children’s play centre vibe than an actual cafe? Cutlery is really dirty - especially the children’s cutlery really greasy. All of the toys are designed for very young children, nothing really for kids over 3 which was a bit disappointing. The whole place is very grubby - not surprised since they only have one member of staff working, not sure how staff are supposed to keep the place tidy when they are rushed off their feet. The only reason for the 3* review is because the waitress Tally was so lovely. She couldn’t do enough for us and was so lovely to the kids even though she was clearly so busy. Poor girl was nearly tripping over toys absolutely run ragged serving tables. Bit of advice get more staff, and table service would be so much better. The place is really large there’s just no way one member of staff can clean that amount of toys as well as everything else. In desperate need of a deep clean. Lovely staff.

Love this place!! Great for kids to have a play with different toys while you relax with a cuppa and friends. We went for lunch and my daughter was still able to order breakfast which she really enjoyed. Great value for money. Cheese and ham toastie well packed with filling. Came with salad and homemade coleslaw too. Delicious. I come here most weeks and have never been disappointed. Would highly recommend. Staff are lovely can't do enough for you.

Have been here a few times more so because of the play space for my 1 year old. Surprising this place does not have a ramp for the prams to get in and out of the shop so it's a big step up and down. Food is average and i waited half and hour for the food which i felt was far too long for beans on toast and a wrap. We do a baby class in a room in the building which has lots of potential but is cold and not very nicely decorated, very plain. The positive is how much my Little boy likes to play with the toys here, ok For a rainy days play and a coffee and cake.

Recently had our daughter's Christening here and very happy with it. Everything was thought of and all the children and adults were catered for, not just with great food but the toys & books, disco room, crafts and a fab face painter arranged by Wigwam too. Everybody complimented us on the venue choice - ideal for all ages. Sue and the team couldn't do enough and made the day everything we wanted

Waited nearly an hour for food and when it arrived it was horrible. Greasy, mucky scrambled egg, burnt sausages and cold beans. Would go back for the little one to play and order a coffee but will never have food there again.

I am a mum with a 2 year old boy, we went in today around 12pm and it was about half full, luckily. I don't think I would ever bring my child here if it was full. I do believe that like any soft play area, a cafe like this should have rules that can be seen or put on the table as my son was hurt by another boy and was so upset we nearly left, The kids toy area was good in the fact that it was in the middle of the room so no matter what table you sat at you could always see your child. However, none of the toys had batteries, most of them were missing parts and the age bracket they were for would be under 1 and half, for my son who is aged 2,there was nothing that kept his interest. We had 2 breakfasts, the portion size was ok and when I didn't want tomato and asked for extra sausage they didn't charge me for it, the bacon was overcooked so much that it was like a crisp and the sausages were also way overdone.

went to wigwam for the first time this morning with my 2 oldest children and my 2 year old. Was going to get us all some jam on toast but i must have seen an old menu online because they don't do just toast anymore. After looking over the menu (very limited) we chose something each to eat. We waited about 20 minutes an it wasnt particularly busy, the baby's beans came scorching hot which surprised me since the place is aimed at parents and children an most children want to eat the food wen it arrives (luckily my son didn't complain), instead he had to eat his toast before the beans were cool enough not to burn him (so it didn't end up being beans on toast afterall) my older son was happy with his scrambled egg on toast but both me and my daughter got friend egg and mine was dripping with grease an that's all i could taste.....my daughter said hers was greasy too and tasted funny. Also £1.80 for a bottle of water is extortionate!! Wasnt impressed with the toys some didn't work and the toy kitchen had no play food or plates etc I spent nearly £15 an feel like it was a waste of money! I certainly won't be going back an definitely don't recommend this place!

I just wanted to pass on our thanks to Sue and her team. Eva had a fabulous time at her 3rd Birthday party and the afternoon was superbly run from start to finish!!! Many of the parents commented on how fantastic the venue was. Nothing was too much trouble for your staff. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone wishing to hire somewhere for a child's party!

The breakfast here was lovely. Quality bacon, beans, sausage and toast. Will be going to eat the same here again. A decent hot chocolate too. It's a child friendly place so a bit noisy etc but I imagine if you have kids this is the best place to go around these ways as you'll also get some good food.

Came here the other day with a friend and our two babies for a drink and a chat. I've passed by Wigwam a fair few times and thought it looked worth a visit so we thought we'd give it a try. Although the entrance door was a little difficult to negotiate with a pram and has a large step up to it, don't let that put you off. Once inside, there is a small gated area too so it is really secure for youngsters keen to explore as the main door also has to be operated by a push button which is very high up. Although we didn't use it as there was plenty of room by our table for our two prams without blocking the way for anyone, there was a handy place to park prams so the place felt very spacious.

Popped in for coffee and light breakfast while in the area, it's ok but not great. There's a decent set of toys for toddlers (definitely not any older) but the food wasn't great (that is meant to be toast in the picture). The staff were nice and friendly but took a long time and it wasn't that busy. I'd say if you've got kids that age either go somewhere with better food or somewhere better for the kids.

We had such a fantastic full English breakfast this morning here. Everything was beautifully cooked and the service was spot on. The café is ideal space for our daughter to toddle off and play rather than being frustrated/bored sitting at the table. They also had a kids film on in an extra room for kids to stroll in and watch. The café is one big room so you can see you child play from your table. A great idea and scrummy food. A good birthday breakfast - thank you

This shop really is a great idea. It is situated within an ideal location for meet-ups between families, friends and is perfect for bringing along the children. There is plenty for the children to do in a safe and friendly environment, while parents (minders, grand-parents - whoever!) enjoy great coffee, food which is served with very attentive and pleasant service. It is great to see that the shop is thriving. Can't wait to visit again soon.

As a new mum the idea of having a coffee shop that accommodates children of all ages is my idea of heaven! Not having to worry if your baby cries can be quite daunting but the staff at Wigwam go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The layout is well thought out and the play areas are ideal. I would recommend this cafe to anyone and everyone. It is inclusive of all ages. This is truly a unique place that has captured a gap in the market. An excellent variety of food is available and at a very reasonable price. Great visit!

Well this was decidedly awful. SO noisy. Don't get me wrong I get it if you have kids SOME parents are happy just letting them run riot. This really was my idea of HELL. You couldn't pay me to go back. Disabled access poor. The step is far too high for someone on their own without help. I went with my son in a wheelchair. I almost had to tip him upside down for the wheelchair to get in... really not an enjoyable experience. food!!! All I can say is I wont be back. We like our breakfasts . This was one to forget. Relax you wont. Unless you totally enjoy screaming kids running round at high pitch.

What a great idea! A totally family friendly coffee shop which offers the best of both worlds - where parents can relax and enjoy quality food and drink and kids can wander about and play! Situated on Rose Lane in Mossley Hill, Wigwam Coffee Shop is perfect for parents. There's loads of room for prams and breastfeeding is welcomed so no worrying about offending any prudes! And you don't have to worry about the kids staying at the table - they can wander off and play in the wigwams, read some books or do some arts and crafts while you enjoy a decent brew and a big slab of cake! There's even a room where regular events are held from sci-fi workshops and baby ballet to Frozen sing-a-longs, and they have a hairdresser coming in and a family photographer. There's loads to keep the kiddies entertained and the food's fab too. I heartily recommend the full English breakfast and the Victoria sponge - there are lots of healthy options too. I've been a few times now and both me and the kids love it!

My girlfriend asked for a medium strawberry acai with lemonade but no ice and the drink cost £5.60 already for this price you could expect them to fill the cup, instead served a small cup half full, i asked if they could fill it up with lemonade as every other starbucks has done. I had to ask for a refund as i wasnt paying £5.60 for a half drink, we sat down to enjoy some time together and we overheard us them attempt to whisper about me asking for a refund by one staff member to the other and i found this to rude, when all i asked was a simple request. Any other starbucks or even staff have been much more accommodating. Wont be returning and ask people to go to the other starbucks in town centre.

We ordered a giant cookie on the second of feb to be collected on the 17th feb giving plenty time for it to be made. The day before pick up I ran the branch and asked about the cookie to which the lady rudely replied she hadn’t got an order and that there was lots of staff so it had gone missing, she didn’t even think to ask what was my order and instead told me to ring back at 4:30pm as she was extremely busy. As this cookie was for an event I didn’t want to risk not getting it and with the employee not really listening and being rude on the phone I went down to speak to her to my Surprise (not) she was not busy instead on her phone with her headphones in I spoke about the issue with the missing order and showed her my receipt to which she replied (I believe you) well I’m glad she did as she took my order on the 2nd. She never apologised or even acknowledges her mistake instead was extremely rude. I’m sure this isn’t the time of person Millie’s wants as the front for there business because I will not be going back and I’m sure others will feel the same if they have to deal with the same rudeness and inconvenience.
