Wow having visited many times for breakfast, and it has also been consistently good, so we decided to have a Sunday lunch takeaway, what a treat, it was well presented and everything cooked to perfection, there was plenty of roast beef and excellent price.

Absolutely beautiful breakfast..and I’ve paid for a fair few!! Everything was cooked perfect, and red hot when it came out. The prices are unbelievable and I think really should be increased to be honest! I was sceptical about the quality when I saw the prices but I was definitely mistaken. Staff are friendly and attentive, I will definitely be returning for breakfast and can’t wait to visit for lunch. I would recommend to anyone.

What an amazing little find! We was at a dance comp with our daughter and called in for a bite to eat whilst staying nearby. We had tapas and cocktails with were both delicious. My porn star martinis were some of the nicest I’ve ever had. The tapas dishes were equally as beautiful & delicious. Guy and his wife went out of their way to make us welcome chatting. We were so impressed we returned on the Saturday for brunch and were equally impressed. Our breakfasts were lovely! Thank you Guy for making our weekend away special we will be back whenever we come to comps at the Lyric Theatre xx

Whenever I'm heading up a motorway I check out possible places to grab a bite to eat and stretch the legs which doesn't involve a service station or a chain. Dinnington is only a short detour off the M1 and at Whiter's we found very decent coffee, good wholesome food at rock bottom prices, and plenty of locals sharing banter with the main man, a geezer from down south who has a very winning way. I had to do a double take at some of the prices - £2.50 for a jacket spud with tuna? Admittedly there was no fancy salad garnish and the potato wasn't a whopper, but it was fluffy and crispy in all the right places. There's also an evening menu and I heard talk of Sunday lunch, too - well worth filing away in the memory bank for the next time I am heading north.

Amazing visited today as a special treat for Mother’s Day for afternoon tea. The food was amazing plenty of verity and there was so much we were able to take half the cakes home. All the food was very fresh home cooked food. The staff were all very attentive nothing was too much trouble very friendly. The price was very reasonable if anything they could charge more. They would definitely give Betty’s in Harrogate a run for there money. Thank you for making my day so special. Well done

I went to this cafe yesterday with friends for afternoon tea. What a great place!! Atmosphere is great, staff very friendly & efficient. The afternoon tea was excellent, variety of fresh sandwiches & savories. Scones & cakes were very good and a very reasonable price. I will be back without a doubt.

I visit Thurcroft every week and make a point of calling at Mrs Brown’s Tea Room. Not only is a friendly welcome guaranteed but tea served in a china cup and saucer to boot! Let’s face it- THAT is how tea should be served. The food is freshly prepared to order and although I have not tried one, the afternoon tea looks amazing. While you are there you can also have a look around two shops full of vintage ‘finds’ - I rarely leave without a small purchase to brighten up my day, a word of advice though- if you see something you like buy it as it will be gone the next time you call! This is clearly a family concern that is run with love and care and well worth a visit.
