Good food and service a very busy pub, but staff coped welll

Good food at reasonable prices.

Excellent service, ambiance relaxed, I booked a table that allowed a specific football match on the television by the table, well impressed, the guy asked what match, he said pick a table and then programmed the match on close to the table booked

Just had Sunday lunch table 1 today for a change it was fantastic meal everything was delicious don't think it could be any better booked for next week regards Bev and Glen

Very welcoming and friendly team nothing is too much for them the food is excellent and always piping hot and a good choice of food

Came here on a break for our 30th wedding anniversary and decided to book the white horse online, arrived early and was greeted by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our table, restaurant was fairly busy but, the attention we were given was fantastic and the food was superb (I'm an ex chef so I do know a little) piping hot and cooked to our requirements, I would thoroughly recommend the White Horse not only for the food but staff,cleanliness atmosphere and value for money well done

Food was very good.Plenty on plate.Food was hot.Reasonably priced.We eat has a family there regularly when we go to Skegness. Staff are polite and helpful.Easy to park.

We went for sunday lunch, which was delicious, i know it is a dog friendly pub, and there was a lot of dogs, a waitress brought our knife and forks, to which she then went over to a couple who had a dog she sat down put the dog on her lap and started petting it! am a animal lover but think there are places that people and animals shouldn't mix, i had eaten my main meal and was looking forward to my dessert i then looked at my wife whose face wasn't very happy, i asked if she was ok, she sad can we go which we did, outside she said while you were eating a large dog threw up on the dining room floor. The white horse is a lovely pub food and drink fantastic, but unfortunately we wont be going back.

Great pub, booked online, and was seated straight away. The food was lovely, and we were only waiting about 20 minutes for our food. The food was hot and freshly made. Very enjoyable experience.

Not been for a visit for ages, popped in for a quick drink that ended up as several rounds. We met a new member of staff that served us a couple of times, a credit to the company. I asked him his name as l thought he deserved a mention. His name was Ryan. Will definitely come back for a meal

Chicken dinner was OK, Great roast spuds and yorkie pud but chicken was dry. Had Apple crumble and custard which was great.

Been there numerous times and the food has been excellent every time. The service is excellent and friendly. Friday night Rock and Roll bing is the best, such a great atmosphere.

Booked here for Sunday lunch, whilst in Skegness to do the aquarium dive experience, and it was superb. The food was amazing, arrived quick and hot, roast potatoes nice and crispy. Dessert and cocktails also very good. Pub was very busy so best to book. The manager was brilliant, very welcoming along with the rest of the team, creating a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend

It was an amazing atmosphere - really kind staff and our pooch was also well catered for with a little doggy menu and water. The food was really nice.

Great tasty wholesome meals. They were serving 8 on our table, all meals served at the same time, hot and all well presented on the plates. Everyone commented how delicious their meals were.

Took my partner and disabled son and hand on heart we were greeted like one of the family, we had a meal which was 1,000 % better than I have had in over 40 years eating out I must praise the manager owner and staff for a truly 5 stars treatment cannot wait to call in again thanks

Went here Tuesday 24,9,24. Very busy and staff were surprised by the amount of customers. The staff and manager worked so well together that there was no stress and the food was coming out plate after plate no stop for at least an hour and a half. The meals were hot and served on hot plates. Very Very nice food at a good price. Staff were very pleasant. 10 out of 10 to the manager and his staff.

Pies are excellent, The veggie Thai curry is lovely and the right amount of spice , but you should put a naan bread or some sort of bread so you can get all the sauce . We came in again last night and looked for the upgrade to the naan and popperdoms but couldn’t see it anywhere on the menu , maybe we just have to ask ,we both had pies I had the chicken and mushroom and it was bloody lovely Paul had the steak and ale and he loves them too . Fast friendly service as usual

Went there with my partner and son found it friendly the staff perfect as for the meals 100% prices ere very reasonable when we pass here again this is the place for meals we would recommend booking a table as whilst we were here at 5pm the tables quickly filled up definitely worth more than 5 stars

Called in to get Sunday lunch. We hadn't booked as other people had said there was no need to - this was not right for today. Thankfully, the staff were able to accommodate our family group of 6. The food served was plentiful, well cooked, and tasted really good. The price for the Sunday Roast dinner was fair, and had three meat options to choose from (and a number of vegetarian choices). There was plenty of beef served with my dinner - real good value for money overall. We were all nicely full at the end of our meals.

I booked table for 8 for my 60th birthday staff was amazing food order bit complicated but staff handled it really well yes we expected to wait a little longer for our food to arrive but to be really honest didn't have to wait that long food all arrive hot all the sides an extra side all came out perfect hot tasty we all enjoyed the food I can say I've had a few Sunday carverys now but this was one of the best I've had value for money on piont so well done to all the bar staff kitchen staff too well done next time I'm in the the area I'm definitely coming back Thanks Gary & Deborah

Booked a table for 7pm table reserved fine. To be told when we went to order there was a 45 minute wait. I know it's not a 5star restaurant but you do need to look at your service. Can someone not look at the computer plan and advise in real time if there is this amount of delay? What about diabetics they can't wait thus long? Not even busy season. I won't be trying this place again.

Came in on a Monday night for a pizza recommended by James in the kitchen ......had a meat lovers pizza .....was really nice and comes with a drink on a meal deal atmosphere is really good in the pub as well all welcome including being a dog friendly pub ......

I’m going off to uni next week and me and my family went to the white horse for a meal to celebrate it. Great atmosphere, food and one of the servers-Oli- was the nicest ever. Asked him for his number too, but hes got a girlfriend apparently smh..

Went in on a Sunday and had one of the giant yorkshire pudding was incredible meat was amazing and the chef josh who told us to order this was very helpful Evan brought my dog a little roast too amazing place to eat too

I was feeling really down and I was by myself on table when I started crying , a nice young boy named Oliver who was a waiter came over and cuddled me tight till I stopped crying. It really boosted my mood until the food came and I started chocking on the chicken burger stick I am now in hospital due to a sliced throat. All I want for Christmas is Oliver my favourite waiter ever 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Walked in and sat down around 5pm on a Monday, wasn't that busy but plenty of reserved tables. Loads of kids running around screaming sounded like a crèche. Stood at the bar 10 minutes with nobody even behind the bar serving anyone (I think they was clearing tables, short staffed?). Decided to leave an go to a restaurant up the road which was a wise decision.

Average food at average prices, Sunday lunch not great could do with a better selection of veg and meat.

We had sunday roast the roast potatoes were soggy and black in colour the beef was nice however one member of staff was very ride rolled her eyes because we passed one of our meal down instead of her doing it also my son spilt and bit of juice i wiped the floor the serviette was black

we came in for a few drinks on a saturday afternoon, such a positive atmosphere as soon as we walked in, friendly and helpful staff, website is easy to access and navigate through, would definitely come again

I visit The White Horse every now and then,,,,it's a lovely place to eat.......The food is always top notch...and at very reasonable prices..The staff are so helpful and friendly..... Which leads to always having a nice atmosphere...

Good food in a nice pub, but for just over 32.00 for two meals and two drinks for my wife and I, it needs to be. My burger was one of, towering ones and a bit awkward to eat, burgers should go out and not up. Despite this, we would go again 🙂

No stars sorry we come hear every year had to send 2 steaks back which fair play was refunded ,went to order pudding and the manager refused to serve us we are a family with a disabled child ,the manager and assistant was very rude and I would like to take this further my Husband went up to the bar with desert order to be greeted by the manger who said 'I don't think so mate do you
