White Horse in East Lindsey

We had the mothers day menu, it was perfect, staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We use the pub frequently with my parents, and service is always amazing and good quality food. Even when busy. :)

Brilliant, this place was recommended by half of the local Facebook community. They got it 200% right. Our friend Tracy from Skegness RBL said we would be well looked after and we were. We'll be back 😎

From the moment we walked in the staff were very helpful and quickly got us to our table. Staff at the bar were very friendly with the ordering. Staff who brought out the food were also very helpful. The food was very tasty and very hot - which is how we like it.

Visited on a sunday around 5.30. It was fairly busy. Managed to find a table. Ordered on the app. Which was straight forward. My drink was on my table within a few minutes. Followed by a beef roast dinner. The beef was really tender and the vegetables were cooked well. Staff were polite, and the place was clean. Would definitely go back.

Absolutely brilliant night out. Staff couldn't do more to help you. And food was hot and very good quality and reasonably priced too.

We were greeted with a warm welcome and, even though we hadn't reserved a table, the host was able to give us a table as long as we vacated by a certain time, which we were happy to do. Once sat down, we were attended to perfectly considering it was really busy. After our enormous roast dinners, we sat outside in the heated outdoor area to watch the football. Only thing that is a negative was that only one heater was working in the garden, but didn't affect us as our table was below the working one.

We often pop in when we come on our hols & absolutely love it. Service & atmosphere is excellent & my husband always enjoys the food. I'm afraid for the last two occasions we've been in I've ordered the hunter's chicken as its my favourite but very disappointed. Very dry hardly any cheese & bbq sauce won't be ordering that again but we will be back I'll just try something else.

Lovely staff, we ask for my partners food to be cut up as he is disabled and it always is. They make sure there is enough room for his wheelchair. Thank you.

Awesome atmosphere, the service was faultless, Jack was friendly and polite, as well as accommodating our requests with no trouble. Food came really quick, and was piping hot and really tasty. The drink selection is impressive, with a great variety of beers on tap, creative cocktails, and a solid wine list. The ambiance is spot-on, whether you’re looking for a laid-back evening or a lively night out. There’s a great mix of music, comfortable seating, and just the right amount of buzz to make it feel energetic without being overwhelming. The best place in Skegness hands down for great food and a great atmosphere.

Really tasty meal, great value and allergies very well catered for. Not local unfortunately but will definitely revisit when back in the area.

really friendly staff I had fish excellent very fresh 👌 really nice vibe 👌 I will definitely come again I have popped in again and had their really tasty Sunday dinner I plumped for the turkey dinner I know its only May!! But it was really good even pigs in blanket s no less so I am certainly glad I came again and will continue to do so a football game was on tv so really good it's worth to mention it's dog friendly they even have their own treats luckily enough I have had lovely dog friendly place it is how my doggie would have loved it especially the treats

Lovely pub with a great atmosphere but totally let down by the steak l had. Can honestly say the worst l have ever had. Refund given when l sent it back. Will definitely return for drinks but will probably not eat there again.

I visit The White Horse every now and then,,,,it's a lovely place to eat.......The food is always top notch...and at very reasonable prices..The staff are so helpful and friendly..... Which leads to always having a nice atmosphere...

Since the white Horse opened up we have become regulars eating out family get togethers or just watch the sports with a few games of pool , I think the pool Table is expensive at £1.50 a game drinks are reasonable good atmosphere plenty of variety on menu

Great tasty wholesome meals. They were serving 8 on our table, all meals served at the same time, hot and all well presented on the plates. Everyone commented how delicious their meals were.

The serving staff are absolute heroes! Knowledgeable about the menu, recommended a decent rose to go with our meal, and were funny and chatty when clearing plates from our table. Love the banter, guys! The food was exceptional value for money - huge portions sizes and very good quality too. I'd highly recommend The White Horse to friends and family.

Great place. What is the most important for me that this place is dog friendly. Nice selection of food. Could be more vegan options but I found something for myself. Definitely will come back.

We have visited the white Horse regularly for the past 3 years and all the staff are welcoming & friendly,it’s the only place we go to for great food & drinks

The pub was quite busy but the service was quick. We all ordered different meals and everyone enjoyed them and we're too full for a dessert. The food was hot and plenty of food. It was cooked perfectly.

Lovely atmosphere and plenty of seating. Ordering was simple using the website, but also can order at the bar. When the food came it was great and the service was top notch throughout.

I've been twice now. First on the training day, food and service by Steph , fab!!! The second time last night again the food was lovely service ,by Steve fab too. There was a bit of a communication issue in the kitchen so we had a bit of a wait for our food but they gave us all a free desert , bonus! They were extremely busy and things happen but we'll done twelve oars! Thank you

Amazing Christmas dinner, staff were so happy and attentive to us. Only suggestion would be to offer tea or coffee at the end of the meal.

Booked the table for boxing day on October 31st 2024 for 10 people booking was confirmed on 1st november. I emailed 1st November to ask for the menu but was never received, on 4th November I emailed asking for 1 roast not to have turkey and an elderly relative requesting a smaller meal. Again no reply. I emailed again 21st December asking if we had to pre-order again no reply. On arriving at the restaurant greeted with have you got a table booked? Gave my name and was asked are you boxing day menu, before I could answer was told no we wasn't so we sat on a bare table amongst all other dressed tables. Spoke with the manager who said it was my fault. Told him I had emailed and he said it was on menu to pre-order I said I never received a menu. I said I had emailed a couple of times with no reply. He said we have been very busy. I said that's not my problem. He said "do you know what, I can't be bothered' and walked off. What Great customer service. I thought it was disgraceful. He avoided us the whole time we were there. The meal was nice but not festive and Oliver and an eastern European waiter were fantastic. Very disappointing

We had our Christmas lunch on Boxing Day as we delivered Christmas lunches for the elderly on Christmas Day and it was well worth the wait! We had submitted our menu choices already so there was no waiting. When we arrived we were seated at a lovely dressed table with a Christmas card which I thought was lovely. The food came out at a perfect pace so we didn’t feel rushed. The food was absolutely delicious! Plenty of prawns, juicy turkey with all the trimmings and a delicious Christmas pudding. We could not have asked for more! Thank you! We will DEFINITELY be back next year! Compliments to everyone at The White Horse! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

A lovely boxing day meal well presented lovely and hot , and plenty of it.

Went today for Boxing Day 3 course dinner, really good, plenty of nice food really pleasant hard working staff, nice ambiance good value for money. Definitely recommend.

Visited a marstons in Norwich on Sunday then went to the 12 oars on Tuesday, no comparison, the 12 oars was so much better, both occasions had meals.

We had our Xmas party there . Staff were brilliant and extra helpful . Food and drink bang on . Grahams disci was the icing on the xmas cake . Highly recommended ( sorry we forgot to pay !)

a lovely little restaurant and pub. the food is of great quality. it can get busy at times but the staff are very nice and can cope in these situations. they also show live sports for the football fans. unfortunately they no longer have the play area and since it's usually busy there can be long wait times. overall general good service.

11 members of our family did the breakfast with Santa for the second year running, as always it was fantastic. The food was great, the staff were all amazing and the venue was super warm, festive and inviting. The children really enjoyed the table activities (colouring, gingerbread man decorating) along with lots of party games, then meeting Santa and getting a gift and reindeer food. Overall a fantastic experience for the whole family and we will definitely be back next year. Thank you to everyone involved!

The staff repeatedly went above and beyond looking after us, helping with various aspects of evening….. including helping up get a table for bingo and where to go for breakfast !

Came for a meal with my partner and took advantage of some money off coupons i was sent, my only moan was it took me ages to be served at the bar however the staff were great and clearly trained on allergies which is great

Had a very nice meal here yesterday tea time. We did book in advance as advised. The food was very hot and good quality. The child's meal was 3-course which was great value and the sausage & mash was very tasty and a good portion size. We had great service from Reece at the bar who also gently reminded me that I hadn't settled the bill when I was leaving. I was so embarrassed but he had a laugh with us about it. All in all a great meal and would highly recommend this place.

Booked a live sport table to watch our team and grab some lunch at the same time. Fantastic booking system and follow up service by the manager to ensure we had the best table and screen to enjoy. Lovely friendly service on arrival and equally lovely food. The bonus, with great, comfy front row seats for the football, we lost but we enjoyed the experience anyway 😊 will definitely do this again!

Had our dad's 70th birthday here tonight! Absolutely fantastic!! Party of 7 and baby..the food was boiling hot, big portions all came out together, service was on point drinks cutlery the lot! Brilliant prices for the quality of food, we're be back!! Thanks very much 😀

Great Pub. We ate in here everyday whilst we're stopping at the parkdean site in Skegness. We wanted a dog friendly pub foremost and somewhere not too far away. There was a choice of pubs on the Web but we decided to give this one a go and we are so glad that we did. Not only was it dog friendly but the staff were all welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate us. Even going out to get English mustard for my husband when they had ran out. And on the first night (a Saturday evening) Rachel managed to get us a table without very little notice. As I say we ate here everyday and so the staff got to know who we were when we phoned up to reserve our table and knew what table we wanted. Well the food was brilliant. The Sunday roast beef and the vegetarian option (a cauliflower cheese tart) were excellent and especially the roast potatoes. Best Sunday pub lunch any of us three had ever had. Pizzas were delicious too. Can't praise the food enough. There's only one thing that disappoints us and that is that The White Horse isn't OUR local!!.

Good food and entertainment throughout the week

Came here on a break for our 30th wedding anniversary and decided to book the white horse online, arrived early and was greeted by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our table, restaurant was fairly busy but, the attention we were given was fantastic and the food was superb (I'm an ex chef so I do know a little) piping hot and cooked to our requirements, I would thoroughly recommend the White Horse not only for the food but staff,cleanliness atmosphere and value for money well done

Food was very good.Plenty on plate.Food was hot.Reasonably priced.We eat has a family there regularly when we go to Skegness. Staff are polite and helpful.Easy to park.

We went for sunday lunch, which was delicious, i know it is a dog friendly pub, and there was a lot of dogs, a waitress brought our knife and forks, to which she then went over to a couple who had a dog she sat down put the dog on her lap and started petting it! am a animal lover but think there are places that people and animals shouldn't mix, i had eaten my main meal and was looking forward to my dessert i then looked at my wife whose face wasn't very happy, i asked if she was ok, she sad can we go which we did, outside she said while you were eating a large dog threw up on the dining room floor. The white horse is a lovely pub food and drink fantastic, but unfortunately we wont be going back.
