Sadly we didn't read reviews 😕 just looked for nearest country pub as we were tired( in moho) what an awful shame and disgusting that the site in searches is still up and running as if open! Terrible management

Sadly (aug 23) this pub has closed. Excellent food and service , nice range of choices on menu, something for everyone without overdoing it. Food was nicely cooked, well seasoned and veggies not overcooked. Everything was cooked with care. Can't fault anything. My dining partner said the same. Will definitely eat there again.

Food was great and staff too , was warm and welcoming, definitely going OK 👍

Visited this evening to find a CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE sign pinned to the door. Recommend checking socials or ringing ahead before travelling to avoid disappointment 😞

This pub has now been abandoned. Management not there and some staff not told the pub was closing down and found out when turned up for work! Great communication for the staff who worked hard for them hey. 15/8/2023

We recently had the carvery, I had the nut roast which was tasty and my partner had the turkey which he enjoyed. The Yorkshire pudding was lovely too. Good customer service and pleasant atmosphere.

A lovely family run pub, excellent, friendly staff, good food and great gluten free/dairy free options! We love it here.

Been trying to find something wrong and the only thing I can comment on was the amount of salt but I mentioned that to the lovely staff and they passed on my comment to the chef. This pub is a little gem of a place and I think it will be my new local! Fantastic food, well presented and just lovely! Specials that I haven't seen anywhere else. Clean, welcoming and just great! Only other comment is that they don't have a great choice of lager but they have plenty of other stuff to try including a lager I hadn't seen in other pubs. I am not one to post a 5 star review but this one deserves an all round 5 star ⭐

Dog friendly. Lovely garden with plenty of seating. Children's play area. Good car park. I have been recommended steak night, but I only had drinks, so could not offer personal recommendation this time. I would visit there again.

Always great home cooked food and reasonably priced. Staff are really good and polite and always there to help in any way. Garlic green beans are a must on the carvery

I decided to try the White Hart after the first restaurant was closed. I was happily greeted by a traditional local pub serving pub classics.

Very friendly staff, managed to get a last minute booking, on Saturday evening for Sunday lunch, table for 2, then Sunday morning my daughter decided shed like to come, so they accommodated us, by upgrading our booking, last minute, Excellent Sunday carvery, family front room atmosphere, definitely will go again,

Me & my girlfriend had a lovely evening & fabulous burger last Friday. The male server was lovely, very chatty and super helpful. Great atmosphere, super cosy and also great wine. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Thursday's is two steaks for £25 day. And we both certainly enjoyed them. Cooked well! Nice service and as you can see plenty of food on the plate.

Had a positive experience at White Hart. The fish and chips was lovely, and not too oily / greasy as I usually find. Chips were great too, as were the peas and salad.

Perfect country pub. Friendly staff ,good food. Would definitely recommend.

Went for Sunday Roast / Carvery. Was well organised, easy to get served with help yourself to great selection of Veg. Was very tasty and we'll go again. Also helpful staff with good selection of ales / cider. Sorted!

We heard of this pub but until the other day had not tried it. Why did we wait so long. What a pleasant surprise, the staff the food, the pub itself, was in my opinion nothing short of excellent. Will I go again absolutely, again and again The presentation of the food was excellent. I have eaten in most pubs in the area And this was by far the most outstanding Keep it up don’t become like the rest Your to good to lose

A really cute hidden gem of an English pub. Visited on a detour to avoid the M5 while going down to Cornwall and it was just lovely. So much charm, friendly staff and patrons. And there's a chameleon there!

Me and my Girlfriend and our 2 boys where coming back from Bristol Aquarium and wanted something to eat, so we looked up the nearest pub restaurant and it came up with The White Hart. By Far the best place I have eaten. Food was 10/10 and the customer service was also 10/10. I definitely will be going back again and I highly recommend this pub 👌

Been here for food and carvery several times and it's always on point . Recently went to a wedding there and it was amazing and the staff were spot on . Highly recommend this place to anyone !

Decent roast for carvery style service...

Staff lovely. Food for price was meagre. Chicken pie with peas and mash swamped in gravy . Dissapointingly pie was soggy which seemed as if it had been microwaved.

We stopped by here for a meal on the way to Bristol Airport on a Wednesday evening and had a carvery. It was excellent! Generous portion of meat and lovely vegetables, all seasoned very thoughtfully. To finish we had the rhubarb crumble with custard which was also delcious. Very warm and friendly staff, if only we lived nearer we would be here every week.

A great carvery made even better by lovely staff and a warm log fire. The food was lovely with a good section of veg. The beef was a bit chewy but I’m sure the staff would have let me swap it had I asked.

Service was awful, food disgusting & over priced, not a good experience for a family meal a couple of weeks ago.

Just had lunch for my Grandma’s birthday and everything was amazing. Quick, friendly and helpful service, delicious food and fantastic setting. Really appreciated the Halloween decor too. Grandma - “Couldn’t have asked for a better birthday”

Went for lunch. Excellent food, and not overpriced. Portions sizes were very good too. The apple and cinnamon pie with custard was delicious.

Such a beautiful meal at the White Hart. Had the offer of 2 Sirloin Steaks for £20.00. So very tasty, and the service impeccable. Well worth the 5 stars!

jacket potato with tuna mayo and cheese was a very good choice and was just per fect

We were staying in the area for a week.Found the White Hart and booked for that evening, we was served by Penny who immediately made you feel at home. The sharing Camembert was amazing and were very accommodating with the rest of the food ( veggies and fussy eaters). We returned two days later and again had fantastic service, this time by Josh. The sharing nachos was huge, my salmon from the specials menu was lovely and plentiful and my husbands burger was delicious, meaty with no horrible bits. The chef, Mike, definitely is a feeder and does not want anyone to go home wanting more but more importantly knows how to cook beautifully and uses good quality ingredients.This place was just like our local at home, welcoming and friendly. Well done you guys. Will hopefully be back before we leave. Beers are well kept too.

I've lived in Wrington for over 6 years and am annoyed at myself for never entering The White Hart for food or drink.... I am so glad I tried their carvery today as was one of the best tasting meals I have had on a Sunday in absolutely ages. Staff were very attentive and welcoming, I will most certainly be back again soon.

Carvery was a disappointment, beef was over cooked and difficult to cut, the veg was all undercooked and very hard. Also lacking some atmosphere
