My go to pub, Landlady is brilliant, lovely atmosphere, Kiddie friendly and staff are warm and welcoming, never a dull moment from when we walk in to when we leave.

Great pub. Entertainment every weekend. This pub is a proper pub.. you don't find many places like this now. Staff are friendly and a good laugh. Nice to see that it's family friendy until 8pm. Clean and well presented beer garden and a good little sun trap in the summer. Keep up the good work

Great local pub 🍻 plenty of entertainment, pool, darts, lovely outside beer garden & also undercover areas. Always a great atmosphere, very friendly staff & landlady nothing too much trouble, been taken back to the old style pub that you don't find in many places anymore. Great selection of Beers/spirit's/soft drinks & hot drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

I first went to this pub last week, there was ladies dart match on and a great atmosphere with it, I went for a game of pool and ended up having a few with a local. I have been a couple of times since and have enjoyed each night. The staff are great, the landlady is friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this pub and will be returning. The toilets are clean, and there is a warm, covered outdoor smoking area.

Staff are excellent and extremely friendly. They know their locals and always accommodate new customers and make them feel welcome.

I don't really do pubs much. Attended a wake here. The staff were really friendly and cheerfully helped with anything asked of them. I also got a coffee on the house which was an unexpected kind gesture.

Such a lovely community pub. Clean, warm, welcoming. Lovely, well maintained beer garden, proper sun trap in summer. Staff are polite friendly and make you feel so welcome. Karaoke and live artists at weekend. Enter as strangers, leave as friends.

Attended a funeral, I have to say the wake buffet was perfect, staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Not like it used to be sadly, I should add, by that I mean the customers. This was my local many years ago but it has a different feel now. But then most places have, this is not a reflection on the current landlords. Pubs have changed a lot in the past 20 years. I do understand the current management are trying hard and I genuinely wish them the best of luck. The Beesom was the best pub for miles and hopefully will be again. Keep up the good work and maybe a miserable old sod like me will be occupying a seat in the corner of the tap room again soon!

I really enjoyed having a quick drink now that it's changed couldn't have a bad word to say about the place

Beer was sour, barmaid was not interested. Toilets were disgusting, absolutely shocking. Would not go back!

Was shocked at the pub used to go there to watch the acts had some good night's in there was cosy and the people were friendly but what's. Happened the beer garden was a mess with clutter and cigarette ends all over the place the ladies toilets were grimmy looked as if they hadn't been cleaned for a while although looked like the best room had a revamp and the bar was in process of being re built not the same pub at all very sorry to see it like this

It's a proper pub, pool, darts, beers, sports.....

New to the area, thought me and the misses would pop in for a pint with two friends. We are a very happy group of people just out to celebrate the new year in just like anybody would Landlady was very rude and abrupt. Kept staring at us. Not a nice pub at all. No wonder the windows get smashed every other month and my friend had one sip from his canister. . Wow

Great convivial pub, two room layout with saloon and vault, good choice of beers, two cask conditioned, I had the Bank's mild, this was in top condition! Would certainly go again

As the new landlord we do our best to provide a warm friendly safe pub for all. Prices are kept as low as we can and keep the laughter high.

Enjoyed nice pub got pub games and a good beer garden.

Very few people in the bar, pool table needs redoing staff only 1 member who was friendly enough but could have been more social to punters and the beer was just average not nice enough for the cost of a pint
