We came in around 7:30pm bank holiday Monday. Santiago was our server and it was only his second shift. He was very attentive and took care of us throughout our visit. He's a great addition to your team

Thought we’d give Chiquito and go and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, wait staff were really friendly and left stuffed Lovely, we’ll be coming back again

Had lovely meal with lite one. Food was all amazing and service was fab! My little one mentioned I had graduated that week and they decorated my plate. They really seemed to be paying attention and trying to make people feel special! Was nice! Will be back

I have had terrible experience at Chiquito's Ashton. We arrived at 08:30pm on a Friday night and finally got our food at 09:40pm after the kitchen staff and waiters had packed up and were eating themselves before we received our food. The restaurant was empty but the excuse for the taking so long was there was one other table of 12 before us. They had to leave before 10pm. We came with a 2 year old and a 2 month old who also should be in bed by ten. As we were paying the bill the staff started turning the lights off in the restaurant. I have been to Chiquito's a few times and really enjoyed it but this time the service was completely diabolical.

Jalapeño poppers were cold (I opened them as soon as I got them) my chicken chimichanga had pulled pork in it (I don’t eat pork) I paid £25 for inedible food

Not been for a few years but the service and foot was excellent. You cant beat some spicy mexican.

It is absolutely the perfect place to enjoy a drink and some nice food..

Order two burritos and sweet potato fries, burritos came wrongly labeled and cold, which in it self is a massive concern for allergies, and the fries came in one congealed uncooked block, and relatively small portion size(shown below after further home cooking) for £4, i myself am a chef and know take out/ delivery orders are annoying but extra care and caution Should be taken to ensure food is still piping hot for delivery and of good condition. Frankly the state of the food made it unenjoyable, I Don’t know what it is like inside the restaurant but I would not do out of house order from here again.

Myself and partner started visiting chiquito last year, since then we have visited around 10-15 times we have enjoyed it that much. Last night we realised we have never had one bad meal, been given the wrong food or been dissatisfied. Customer service is always good, the restaurant is clean and we are always welcomed with a smile on arrival. The food is freshly cooked and hot when served and we were really happy with the value of money and what you get. we will be visiting our local one in Ashton, the food is great.

The limes were some of the best my friend Graham had, and the music took me back to when I lived in Mexico city

Food was really tasty and filling, service was good apart from being sent the wrong main for one of our party. The music however was way too loud for the amount of people that were there. Don't get me wrong, I like loud music, heavy metal is my thing but dining out as a family we shouldn't have to shout across the table to each other 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great food and service was first class

Ordered today from uber eats spent about 20 plus on our food chicken chorizo skewers and mum had chilli I ordered it at 6pm and it was with us at 6.20pm took the food out it was all cold phoned the restuarant and was told they were having issues with the delivery drivers which I know is an issue and that they put the food in a bag to keep it hot I complained to uber eats and had to say it was a missing item to get a 12.00 refund I eat some of the skewers and they made my stomach turn over I don't think this chicken was properly cooked for my stomach to go like that my mum didn't eat her chilli an absolute appalling meal and the food was cooked quick I would avoid if you are ordering on uber eats the only edible item was the nachos A VILE INEDIBLE MEAL

Enjoyed the food I had something I had never had which was queso fundido I enjoyed. I also had paella as my main which was also good. I had 2 mocktails as it was a Sunday and they were also good they had larger cocktail menu. The service was really good and fast

Popped in here before we went to the Cinema across the way. Was cautious of the time between orders Drinks, starters and mains but it wasn't bad an we just had time to get out to see the trailers as the spacing of waiting between each course was okay for our table of 4. Food was great, all.of us enjoyed our choices. Great range on the menu. Staff were pleasant and helpful would easily go to again if in the area.

Dined with family for birthday celebrations, excellent food as always. The staff suprised the birthday boy with complementary churros and the servers sang hbd to him. Spent £150+ for a party of 7 and worth every penny. Blue light discount also accepted! Our favourite guilty pleasure spot and it never dissapoints. Thankyou

waited a lot longer than stated, not good when you only have a certain amount of time for a dinner break

The tacos shrunk so much since the last time I’ve been here and are now £7.60. Also no more soured cream on tacos.

Have eaten here with my wife and our family many times. Food is excellent. Lunchtime menu is a very reasonable price for 1, 2 or 3 courses. Always enjoyed it. Good food, well prepared and presented.

The food is appalling we all left there not full after paying £110 the chips taste like they was from a takeaway the chicken was Birds Eye and was rubbery the steak was chewy was really hard to cut up the cocktails was rubbish you couldn’t even drink it properly the only thing that was ok was the tacos I would never go back there even if it was free

you forgot my onion rings, but the rest was too good to complain about!! 😂😂 9.5/10

ordered the ultimate fajita and they was out of a specific type of meat we waited about 20 minutes and the food came out all the sauces were mixed and i went to start placing food onto my wrap and there behold mould and it had grown through both wraps, i brought it up and they dealt with it fast but the lady avoided me like the plague even though it was not her fault, the next wrap i was given tasted funky and i could not finish it, got a 30 percent discount but i already had 25 percent off due to me being a student so for their mistake i got a 5 percent discount which is horrendous seen as the quality of the food and how expensive it is.

Last visited: December 2023 Good service, food was good. They were able to fit us in early on NYE, a walk-in. Service was fast and friendly.

Great food but very expensive for what it is. £15 for 4 x cokes! Service slow even for a Saturday night. Only 2 servers to be seen. Cutlery dirty but replaced on request.

Went last night for tea on arrival there was no one to meet or great us just waited for a while. The fajitas that we had was not sizzling on arrival to the table and the spicy chips were not hot I think this is because the place is cold inside the restaurant. As people were sat with there coats on So why don't you get this out ASAP but unfortunately we will not be returning again and it was a waste of money.

This was on the 25 of Oct 2023 because I forgot to review it when I got home from chquitos in Manchester Ashton under Lyne. 🤣 it did take some time for the food to come but it was worth it.

A good place to visit as we enjoyed our dinner and drinks, but the service was second to none, as Joanna looked after us throughout the evening. Overall great evening and fantastic service from all of the staff at the restaurant.

Food was ok was expecting more flavour, won’t be going back as not worth the money for quality of food received. Maybe just ordered the wrong thing

The food was good and people very friendly. Unfortunately it was extremely loud in the restaurant, so loud you could hardly have a conversation.

Order was delivered very late. Although the restaurant was quite free at the time, we had the food at the table after 40mins or so, which was disappointing. Food was tasty.

Food taste was ok. Took more than 45 minutes to bring 4 dishes. No one spoke about summer special, before we ordered the drinks or dishes. Had to ask for color pencils for the kids. Long way to improve. Atmosphere.. Loud music. Volume should have been less or music could have been smoother.. With the delay for the food, it really didn't go well..

Visited for friends birthday. Were made to feel special, enjoyed the food and range of cocktails.

The food was amazing, the prices are quite good for what it is. The decorations looked amazing and the service was very quick our waiter Ana was very kind and helpful too! Definitely coming back again.

It's alright. Food was pretty good but it took ages between starter and main (40 minutes). Prices are a bit dear for what it is although it seems like you get a discount if you go to the cinema, which we didn't but is a nice option. We liked the family friendly atmosphere but the music was so loud that it was difficult to hold a conversation.

Next to the cinema and we've never been in the 7 years I've lived in the area. Decided to try for something different and been back twice since. The food was very nice and the service was good too.

Exceptional ! The best Chiquitos I’ve ever been to. First off , loads of parking Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by a polite and happy member of staff who said fellow and asked us if we had any allergies and then showed us to our table. The waitress who came after was very polite and happy again ! Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was extremely clean and well presented and decorated. A very pleasant place to be. The starters were excellent. The mains even better. The food was tasty and fresh tasting. I cannot recommend this chiquito enough , very very impressed. Will be visiting again soon. Parking is free and plentiful Wheelchair access also

We visited this place for a meal before we went to see Indiana Jones in the cinema. I've never been before, but the food was amazing and really tasty. What was best was the service, I can't remember her name but a lady with dark hair served us. We requested if we could do fries instead of rice in our burrito, and she was more than happy to help!

Excellent food quality at a brilliant price (lunch menu), a 3 course meal with a drink for under £20. Vicki as always was a friendly and highly efficient waitress.

Nice bit of meat and drink to please the good old pallet. Casey was fantastic, changed my view on how well someone can serve, she was so good, would go back again just to witness such fine dining and breathing.

Chiquitos used to be my favourite place. We'd literally visit here once per week during 2016 to 2019 and it was great. Since COVID the prices have just sky rocketed and what used to cost around 40 quid (which is why we could come weekly) is now about 120. Its just not affordable any more. The past year we've been about 3 times and last time we visited on father's Day the food was good. As good as it used to be. Some of the previous visits this year it wasn't as good. But even though the food was much better this time the prices are just silly. I also think the children's menu needs more options. Our two wanted a plain burger and as the children's menu doesn't have one they said they'd make us one but then charged us the price of the loaded burger from the adult menu. Years ago the atmosphere was buzzing as more people could afford to eat here but now most tables are empty every time we go. I feel it would be better to cut your prices and fill your restaurant again, allowing families to visit more often rather than charging silly prices and restricting visits to once every few months ...

My partner has been to chiquitos once before and I had never been, we went after being across the car park at the bowling. We were seated immediately, sat somewhere convenient for us and others as we had our 3 month old with us and his pram. Our baby cried a few times throughout our meal but the staff were so so lovely and no one made us feel like we were doing anything wrong like you can get in other places. The food was perfect, so tasty , so quick, amazing quality, presented beautifully, will definitely be returning.

Food took ages to arrive, server was nice enough but when the food eventually arrived it was very poor! The corn rockets were so spicy and tough they were inedible and the tacos were over spiced also not very edible! The drink were nice but when I told the server I was disappointed in the food she just said oh I’ve not tried it so we paid and left what a shame

Service was mostly good and certainly friendly, the food was OK. Good value with 30% off for having been to the cinema. Although, the number of promotions and lack of Ts+Cs for some of them make the website a confusing mess. The double up offers are good, particularly for the fajitas as you get unlimited wraps. Overall, the quality seems to have gone down but you can strike something of a balance if you use the deals on offer.

I note with interest that the Just Eat delivery driver has marked my order as delivered. Just ordered food from Chiquito Ashton Moss through Just Eat. The food was picked up from the restaurant at 20:02 and the driver bypassed us having accepted another order which he went to and waited at for approximately 40 minutes. I spoke, to the restaurant on 2 occasions and they gave me this information. When the driver did finally arrive, at 20:49, I refused delivery as the food would have been ruined, especially the ice cream which the guy at Chiquito agreed it would be. According to the driver, the cause was because Just Eat allocated him another order to collect which necessitated him sitting at one location for almost 45 minutes. Having complained to Just Eat and haveheard nothing, probably becauze it would appear that the driver lied again. Excellent service from Chiquito. Completely abysmal service from Just Eat.

If you want a night out that involves being ignored by servers, listening to poor pop music (not even Mexican pop), shoved on 2 tables that are not the same shape nevermind height, patronised by the floor manager and have your middle of the road food delivered at various times then this is the place for you. If not there is a Weatherspoons nearby that is better.

Brilliant food and drinks a little expensive tho

Overall experience good but £6.30 for a pint of Corona pizs take, thoughti needed a mortgage advisor. Little on the expensive side, visit again no. Plus had no Mexican hats which was a disappointment 😕 to add to the experience.

Staff are cool very helpful & very child friendly! Menu is easy to read well priced ! Food is cooked amazingly! Cool seating very busy place come early before the rush ! It is must visit free parking ! Cinema near by & bowling !

Food was lovely, staff was lovely, and they had some beautiful decorations up. If you like Mexican food, definitely a good shout. Came for a birthday meal, and we gave the restaurant a cake. They brought it out with the candles, sang happy birthday and were very kind, wishing a happy birthday etc. Have come to this chiquitos many times over the years and it's charm is still present.

Called in here with some friends, I was only planning on having a drink while they ate. The menu was too tempting and I came out stuffed. Didn't have to wait for a table (Saturday lunch time), a mix of customers, everyone respectful creating a calm atmosphere. The staff were friendly and efficient, didn't rush us but were attentive enough. Portions a good size and good quality food.

Nette Bedienung, Getränke und Essen kam sehr schnell. Leider war es nicht ganz sauber und manche Sitzbänke sehr abgenutzt. Die Papierspeisekarten waren ziemlich klebrig und gingen schon durch unzählige Hände. Das Bier war leider nicht ganz kalt. Die Fajitas waren ok aber nicht richtig gut.
