I tried the fried chicken burger and it was really great

Chips are not fresh and also cold the chicken is pink had to throw it away because it was not edible

10/10 food. Chicken was fresh and piping hot! Pizza was one of the nicest take away pizzas I’ve tried. The service was fast and staff were friendly. Thank you very much, I will be back again!

If you’ve heard the term ‘cheap as chips’ then this applies to the Chicken Station. Great food, unbelievable cheap prices and when you see uniformed staff from ‘Havana’ (which is a highly rated nearby fried Chicken takeaway shop) in the queue ordering food to eat, you know the food must be good! Since Havana opened, the menu was updated and fresh chicken dipped burgers are now served. My favourite though is the Apna style pizza…it’s delicious with generous amount of toppings at 1/4 of the price of a pizza from Pizza Hut delivery a few doors away. Overall, excellent menu and very reasonably priced :-)

It came very late and the food was cold absolutely disgusting and not worth it

Cheese burgur was very cold, looks like had been cooked for a while, very pathetic of the staff for giving food which they know it must be cold because it has been their for a while.

Ordered a fish masala meal but they gave me a chicken wings meal instead and on top of that the chicken looked like it was rotting

i entered this establishment with the hope that it would pass my standards but it was packed i had to wait 20 full minutes until i got the food and the chips was cold and the chicken was pink absolutely horrible

This is our regular, food is usually always good. Pizzas are fresh and tasty. Only issue is the price keeps going up, which is understandable due to the climate but to charge 20p for their chilli sause is a bit over the top! I asked for a bottle of their sauce and they expect you to pay £10! That's double the price of a Nandos peri peri - bonkers. Also the chicken in the burgers have drastically shrank, and the chicken wings are all one type now the not so good type 🍗.

I have been through a lot of takeout places in Manchester and this place has great food and service the chicken tastes great to be honest I was expecting your run of the mill usual takeaway where the chicken is dry and doesn’t taste that good but I was pleasantly surprised when I first ate it and the pricing is actually quite cheap for the quality of the chicken

Not a bad chicken house ..wide variety of chicken meals to choose from.....it used to be cash only ...but not sure if it takes card now ..the prices are quite reasonable..food is exelent..not had a problem with the food ...it can get quite busy tho with the college being near by aswell............

Usually decent however, ended up with food poisoning last time I ordered from this place. Won’t be going back.

It is a 50/50 sometimes you get thin crust on pizza sometimes you get bones in cheese burgers. It is overall good but they need there shawarma back asap.

👉 Chicken Station 📍 30 Market Street Ashton-under-Lyne OL6 6ER Driving past the shop I noticed it was empty which was a shock as it is always packed to the door. Decided I would call in. The shop was mostly tidy except for one table that was piled high with leftovers and packaging that nobody had moved. The customers who left it there should have been those who removed it in the first place. While in the shop a call came through for a delivery request to Oldham, for those not in the know Oldham is a haven for fried chicken places so this speaks volumes for Chicken Station. The guy told me that many people travel long distances to come here for their Massala Fish so maybe it's one to try next time. Feeling hungry I ordered a spicy chicken burger, spicy wings, 2 piece chicken. The staff were very friendly and chatty. Although they were busy with delivery orders they were still talkative and pleasant. The golden chunks were glistening through the glass and there was mounds of crispy goodness ready to be devoured and enjoyed by the hungry people of the area. My food came very fast and I was on my way. 🔶 Spicy Chicken Burger (Dipped) I have come to realise that in this area unless you ask for your spicy #burger to be dipped in the sauce then you will only get a splash on the top. In this area it is known as a 'Spicy Dipped Burger'. Upon getting home this food was still hot, the burger was hefty, the fillet was a good size the bun was holding up very well, the coating was thick and sticking well to that batter. There was ample lettuce and just enough mayo. On the very first bite that burger took me to some of the best places I've visited (Miami's/Florida's) the sauce was so good it was spicy but not over the top. I picked up on cayenne, massala and paprika it wasn't salty or sweet but smooth and fiery. The chicken was really juicy and tender and the batter was light and still had some texture to it. If that bun would of been toasted this would be sensational. 🏆9/10 🔶 2 Piece Chicken(Breast/Thigh) The #chicken had a really thin coating of batter, it was still hot and fresh. The meat was so juicy and tender it just fell of the bone. The crispy light coating has a massala flavour like I have not tasted before on fried chicken and I have to say its a winning recipe. They were of an average size but they packed so much flavour. 🏆8.5/10 🔶 Spicy Wings The #wings wings although they were very small they had a very crispy and crunchy light batter. They had that same massala flavour but they had a more peppery kick. Again super soft, tender and meat fell right off the bone. 🏆7.5/10 Overall I can see why this place is always so very busy. I recommend the place and if you're into Desi/Massala style flavours you will not be disappointed.

Lovely food, one of the best but unfortunately they don't answer their phone easily. Once I've been spending 35 minutes calling and then I gave up ,its happening more often than before.I just order from somewhere else now. They need to do something about this urgently !!!

The place is small and little old now but it's quaint. The food was nice, the price is good for what you get and the service was fast. Ordered the zinger burger meal with some wings on the side. Would definitely go again.

Chicken station is hands down the best chicken stop in town! I’ve been coming here for years & I could honestly say, I’ve never been let down as the consistency has always been there. The chicken fillet burger 🍔 really fills you up, the chicken wings are irresistible, the cheese burgers on point, the chicken pieces are nicely spiced. Tried the fish massala today which was well spiced and tasty alongside the crispy chips. The prices are reasonable and the customer service is always fast which is always appealing so what’s not to like!!! Thanks guys for the great food, keep up the good work 👍

The food is peng can’t lie , the prices are abit steep but u can’t complain for the quality and taste of the food 🔥, this is the local college kids spot and I know why number 7 or 10 be my favourite and the masala fish 🥵

The only edible chicken shop in tameside in my opinion. Everything's cooked fresh as it's always busy, food is really nice. We have tried quite a lot of friend chicken places in Ashton, Audenshaw, Denton and Droylsden and most were disgusting.

(After 7 Months I came back ☹️ I was EVEN MORE DISAPPOINTED!! 45JAD absolutely RUDE along with staff. Don’t bother coming here. 100% will be out of Business Soon. You heard it here 1st. Very Unfortunately the Menu has changed.... Maybe for the good. I will check in a few months. But from what I heard when I called for an Order, I didn't appreciate the way Staff Spoke to me. On top of that, it took me 30 mins just to get through to their Line.. This isn't A restaurant and neither does it have the staff OR the Necessary Phone Lines. And with this New change of Menu, I'll be Patient and Eat Elsewhere.

Been going there for quite a while now. For the past few months they've dropped to their lowest. Be it the food or the quality/taste of it. Service has been average as usual. Wouldn't really talk about the hygiene as thats been below par since a long time. Feel bad for the college students who'll go through most of the trouble due to the price hike.

Used to give a 5 star but had to take 2 off. 1. It is so hard to get onto their line and at first I thought it was because of how many orders they get. Out of their control, I get it. But now even when they aren’t already on a line they don’t answer. 2. The service on the phone isn’t great either always sound like they don’t wanna be there and one guy on the phone told me to “use a different phone next time” after having difficulties. Everything else about the shop is great but I feel it could do better especially with the employees

Absolutely disgusting. Worst takeaway I've had hands down. The poorest quality meat dry and overcooked. The chicken burger could take teeth out, barely any chicken at all, half the size of the bun. Everything went in the bin, not even putting my dog through that!

I ordered my meal by telephone and collected it from the Ashton branch. The food was fresh and tasted good. Plenty of sauces, napkins, and cutlery were provided. The food was well packed. The overall service is consistently quick. The meals are reasonably priced. Only downside is, there telephone is forever busy but I will order again.
