Wharncliffe Side Chinese in Sheffield

Asked for meal for 1 as per website. Told that they didn't do that, showed them the website. She eventually agreed but the meal we received was not complete as per web site & very poor quality. 1 king prawn some grisly beef & lots of veg, under cooked egg fried rice should have been wandering dragon no sauce. Shall not go again! Used to be nice, pre covid.

Been going here for a number of years had the salt and pepper box a few times and realised I wasn't getting the king prawns so when I ordered online I put on the notes to remember them when I went to pick rhe order up I asked about the prawns and she said no prawns it doesn't cone with them to which I showed her the online menu and then stormed off and did some and then came bk and was rude saying pay pay if you don't wish to put prawns init simply take them off the online menu so there's no confusion always had good Chinese from here so was so dissapointed with this experience

I ordered food tonight and it did come very fast but was absolutely awful the meat was just fat no meat at all the chips were very dry aswell as the fish and the curry is just to thick to even use and rhe gravy is just water absolutely terrible food and not cheap at all

Always a good takeaway, we ordered to stocksbridge and the last few times its arrived in 15/20 mins! Never had an issue, always delicious and great portions.

I asked for no onions and they gave me onions

Food arrived absolutely freezing one of the dishes salt & pepper special came in a pizza box! which was partly open everything was cold all the meat was dry & tough un-eatable rang them up to complain they weren't interested just got a Chinese woman angrily shouting in background no apology, refund nothing! Will never ever use this awful Chinese again!! Take my advice and stay WELL CLEAR!!!!!!

Food was acceptable but ordered for delivery and after 90 minutes it still hadn't arrived so rang and was told it would be another 60 minutes. Went and collected instead

Totally ignorant. Get orders wrong and don’t care less. Very bland food. Old woman in there is very angry and very scary. I phoned up and chef shouting in the background like a nutcase!

Best Chinese going! Always speedy delivery, always tasty and love we get fortune cookies too.

The best Chinese food. And they deliver to Stocksbridge. I have been order for last two years. Only once they mixed order but apologised and sent new one. Overall good value for money

I love this place, personally I reckon it’s the best Chinese takeaway in Stocksbridge. I’ve tried other places when these have been too busy on a weekend to take orders and they do not even compare to here.

Best choice for a Chinese take away in the areas. Your unable to beat the taste or food quality.. amazing work keep it up

Tried here for the first time tonight after having a few bad experiences with the Chinese across the road. Absolutely delicious! One of the nicest meals I’ve had from a Chinese takeaway.

I've had Chinese food from all over Yorkshire, this is by far the best I've had. Great choice all cooked to order fresh.

Really nice Chinese lovely food at a good price , quick service. Also have vegetarian dishes to which is good to see on the menu. Good Chinese to have take out from.

This place used to be good. Not sure what happened but the last few times myself or people I know have ordered, the food is overcooked and tasteless. Won't be giving them another chance. What a shame.

Didn't want to give 1star , absolutely disgusting food delivered last night and it was barely warm, we complained to them about it they offered us free Coca-Cola when we next order never ordering from them again, Avoid!!

I'm not one to complain, but I have a few gripes with this place. They should sort out there delivery charge when paying with card £3 a bit much when your ordering large amounts and the 0.50p card charge is bot allowed by law if I'm mistaken and that should be removed. To the food ordered a month or so ago and ended up with abdominal pains from eating there food. So I will not be ordering again. Food tastes good, but it did not agree with me

Ordered at 6.30 was still waiting for delivery at 8.30 rang up told me it would be another 30 to 40 minutes cancelled my order they shouldn't take orders they can't deliver on time

Very disappointed with my order tonight waited in excess of 2 hour only to receive my order wrong and cold when I rang to tell them they were very unhelpful and unconcerned and very argumentative I have spent a lot of money at this takeaway on a regular basis tonight order was over £40 and I will not be buying from there agin they did not care that I was unhappy and no offer of costumer service whatsoever Would not recommend to any one and need someone more professional one the phone

Not nice,ordered chicken curry but don't think it could be called chicken! Noodles were dry and prawn crackers seemed like they were cooked more than a few times .

Food I had was ok to be honest however half of order was missing and when I phoned to complain I was fobbed off by them. No apology nothing. So got half of a £40 order. Attitudes stink. Will go elsewhere next time and would avoid ever using these again.

It's a decent takeaway, we use it regularly, never had a problem with the food or service. Occasionally we have to wait 40mins+ for our food, but that's to be expected when ordering large amounts, they deliver locally (check menu for details). The premises is small and clean.
