Wexford's Diner in Blackpool

We are regular visitors to Blackpool and when there we always visit the Wexford Diner for brunch. Keith the owner and chef is always hospitable and cooks an amazing brunch. It’s such a friendly place to dine. A gem of a place to visit if you want the best breakfast.

A shame it’s closing! Wonderful food and warm welcome at all times! It was the place for breakfast in Blackpool Will def miss it

Absolutely brilliant local cafe run by the very talented chef & owner Keith. Not only does he support the local community, he has a heart of gold and gave free lunches for school children during the Covid lockdown nightmares! Dog friendly and highly recommended xx

Fab little find. Breakfast was lovely as well as the service. Such a shame to find out it is closing in October. But I'm sure the owners will succeed with whatever they do.

What a truly amazing friendly place we have been organising social events here in Blackpool for many years and the welcome quality of food is second to none. Keith is the king of cooking a perfect poached egg the sad news this place is closing on the 5th Oct so if your local pop in and see what your going to miss out trips to Blackpool will not be the same thank you to you all

This place is amazing. Such a fantastic choice of breakfast including my go to vegetarian. Lovely owner and staff who can’t do enough and are so welcoming. I’ve Been coming here for a couple of years whenever I visit it’s top class food great service. Great prices. All freshly cooked to order.

Stumbled upon the Wexford for the perfect hangover cure. The breakfasts were amazing! Well cooked and presented. Pleasant staff. Lost a point as the toilet was manky!

I would highly recommend visiting here the food is freshly prepared to high standard and cooked to perfection and lots of choices available on the menu the cafe itself is spotless from top to toe and the cleanliness is to an extremely high standard Staff are always curious respectful and well presented The cafe offers a great choice of coffee's on the menu obviously I am a latte person and coffee lover

I absolutely Can not fault here , i stayed at a hotel near by Mr Sandmans. They recommended this cafe, the food is excellent and the service is too, we really enjoyed it. Wanted to visit here for a while now but never got out of bed early enough to make the Sunday breakfast! So made the most of staying in Blackpool Sunday night and went straight here Monday morning. It was soooo good! Lots of choice and variety. Not just brekkie but menu consist of things such as Chilli, Curry, Paninis, Build your own breakfast, Scampi etc. I had the English breakfast with black pudding and a pot of tea and my partner had the Wexford Breakfast (similar to English but with fried toast and soda bread). The food came piping hot and was delish. The Wexford brekkie was huge and my partner was defeated! The service was great too and the guy (presuming business owner) did great working on his own and accommodating us all. All in all it was just under £20 and well worth it. Will definitely be returning!

Can not fault here , stayed at a hotel near by whom recommended this cafe, the food is excellent and the service is too, we really enjoyed it, definitely will use again when we visit blackpool

I struggle to find a good breakfast anywhere being a celiac, but this place has individual items to pick your own breakfast, all day. Great food, great service, excellent prices. Keith is great at what he does, friendly, helpful, great cook, couldn't ask for more....

Wish we had found this little gem on our first day. It was onky about 50 yards from our hotel. The waitress Chelsea was so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The owner, sorry but I forgot his name, was friendly, happy and helpful.There is a very large menu to choose from and the prices are really good. I had the Full English and it was delicious and lots of it. My partner had the veggie breakfast and he said it was lovely but way too much to eat.If I was ever to go back to Blackpool I would definitely eat here.

This place does the most amazing home cooked meals,such friendly staff and always fresh produce,New Years day got 2 full English breakfast,well presented,tasty and served with a smile ,open for collection so get yourself down !!!!

Well all i can say about this cafe, is that it is stunning, and somwhere where you should want to eat, as it is spotless and clean, and has the best Breakfast in Town, and all the meals, are Homecooked, what else can i say about this cafe, is that i recommend this cafe to anyone who comes to Blackpool, It is a Little Gem of a Cafe,and well recommended, by me, So please try this cafe, it is on Cocker Streetopposite, the Church, and near the Pubs, and near town centre, lovely Place to go and have a delicious Breakfast, Beleive me, i have had many Breakfasts and they are not even up to Par but this one is excellent, so please try,,, You will enjoy the meals, there but one thing they shut at 2PM< which is a shame, anyway try and see Bye for now, Thanks,

Been recommended a few times ,owner very friendly food very fresh, can build your own breakfast ,had haggis on mine and was excellent would recommend a visit

Lovely breakfast, nice friendly cosy atmosphere. Staff lovely and friendly.Free WiFiLady offered to put my daughter's unfinished juice in a carton so that she could take it away rather than waste it.We will definitely return when visiting Blackpool againThank you for your hospitality!

5/5 for the cafe layout and owners really friendly, but sorry guys my breakfast was really below par portion size was perfect but i hardly eat it, Eggs were overcooked, beans & sausage etc tasted really cheap ingredients. Tbh i would happily pay £1 more and return for a better quality brekkie.

Had breakfast here every morning while we were visiting Blackpool. We are usually people that like to explore and choose somewhere different on a daily basis for food, but the staff at the Diner were so kind and welcoming, and the food was top quality and cooked well and quickly, so we just kept going back. Brilliant value for money and cater to most dietary needs. Highly recommend!

The food is fantastic at this little diner! I eat from here every time day I’m working! Just love it. Staff are lovely and they don’t mind if you make changes to their food. A must to try are the breakfast wraps. (With beans lol) highly recommend xx

Called in to this lovely little cafe, just as we were passing. I had the breakfast omelet, & my friend had the full English. Lovely food, clean as you like cafe. Would definitely call again!

When the New Bond Hotel is quiet, we always nip to the Wexford Diner for our butties. I was passing by and called in for a coffee to go. I’m so glad I did. The guy behind the counter was extremely polite and the coffee was superb. It was also very reasonably priced. I will be returning here for the breakfast next time I am in town. (The cheesecake menu looked good too.)

We have our grandaughter every Thursday and as a treat we take her for breaky. Somewhere different every week. I Googled and found this lovely little cafe. Spotlessly clean. Warm welcome. Nice menu. We had our usual full English. Very very nice. The sausage can be hit and miss but here they were quality, very tasty. Nice bacon. Everything cooked to perfection. Piping hot. We forgot a bib but the owner sorted us out. You could park in Sainsbury's free for an hour and walk there, alternatively there is a car park at the back.

Visited Blackpool and stayed in peek- a-booze for two nights so both mornings I came here for breakfast....had the breakfast wrap and it was delicious....piping not made fresh....the full English breakfasts also looked amazing....friendly staff and extremely clean...couldn't fault a thing ...

Me and my partner have visited this little hidden gem a few times.My favourite has to be the full English breakfast ,however I’ve seen the jacket potatoes they also look tasty.The owners are two lovely gentlemen ,such a lovely couple who make you feel very comfortable and are always up to the task of any changes to our order ,can honestly say this has become one of our favourite places to eat in Blackpool.

Been to The Wexford quite a few times now and my partner and I can’t fault it. Gorgeous food, the big menu offers something for everybody, friendly staff, clean, and well priced. I have no doubt we will be returning on a weekly basis

went in here with my wife and glad i did seen on the menu they did a full scotish breakfast and got to say it was well worth it great value for money and great customer service as well safe to say i will be recomending this dinner to my family and friends

Visited this place on Saturday with friends. The bed and breakfast we were staying at had a problem and the owner phoned us and told us to go get breakfast here and he would pay for it. Very kind of him. We were sat quietly looking at the menu when a woman who I assume was one of the owners felt it was necessary and appropriate to shout aggressively collectively at our group in a tone that the entire diner could hear that only a full English and a drink per person had been paid for. She then felt it was necessary to add to her outburst “We’re all skint up here in the North”. It turns out we actually wanted less than what had been paid for and had she just asked instead of shouting at us she would have been informed that. I assume the North comment was related to our group not being from the South or maybe she has a problem with tourists on a bank holiday weekend. We all found her outburst quite unnecessary and extremely rude baring in mind we were all very respectful and just wanted a quiet breakfast. She could of and should of quietly informed us what had been paid for when it became apparent we were the group who were being paid for. The food itself was quite nice and we would of returned had she not had behaved that way. Maybe that’s why she’s skint.

Me and my partner came here for breakfast, we were staying at the Phoenix B&B; locally that provide breakfast tokens. They have a really good variety to choose from their menu, we had a breakfast wrap and full English, cooked to how we asked and a really polite service, food was lovely and the theme inside the cafe was fabulous! Would recommend and we will be coming back for sure!️‍

My wife and I came into Blackpool for the Rebellion Festival from Brooklyn. On our second day we discovered the Wexford. Thank goodness!! It became our breakfast base for the rest of the fest(4 days). What a gem, the place is clean, the owner and staff wonderfully friendly. And the food is spot on good. Anything we tried was tasty, fresh and abundant. The owner is such a nice guy, happy to make sure you get a hearty meal. So when you are in Blackpool and in need of breakfast or lunch, get over to 76 Dickson RD and The Wexford Dinner you will not be disappointed.

Lovely cafe run by the friendliest couple. Amazing food and excellent pricing. Their coffee is very nice too. The decor in the cafe is quirky, clean and well kept. They even advertise artwork on their walls from local businesses. Will definitely be returning next time we’re in Blackpool.

We took our two small children for a brunch and found this great dinner along Dickson road where there isn't really alot of family friendly looking establishments. The food was really reasonably priced for the quality and quantity that we received. Gorgeous little place which felt like a home from home. Very welcoming and excellent selection on the menu!

This is a low budget cafe offering the basics, freshly cooked and reasonable quality. The venue was clean and the staff attentive.

Although no one was there it took nearly 20 minutes to be served with a bacon and cheese sandwich which was cold. waitress seemed far more interested in advertising her friends business ? Not very nice at all.

We stayed at the Phoenix guest house round the corner where if your staying there you can buy a voucher for a cooked breakfast we did and the breakfast was excellent quality and the ladies who work there are lovely
