West Road Deli in Newcastle upon Tyne

Absolute scammers, selling old equipment as ‘working’ and screwed me over. I normally ignore reviews like this - putting it down to an unreasonable person but I can assure you, these people will lie to your face. The state of the equipment they use is disgusting.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely family run deli. The service is unmatched. The staff truly care about the food and experience. The food is absolutely amazing . I thought I’ll never be able to get a proper Yorkshire panini in Newcastle tried few places and they never impressed my taste buds, but when I tried west road deli it was what I’ve been missing . Fresh and full of flavours. Everything we have tasted is amazing the food just so scrumptious. Absolutely the best we’ve had in Geordi land Highly recommend!

What can I say apart from delicious 😋 kebab burger was gorgeous, had no cheese burgers so the women said "try this kebab burger, I made these patties this morning" and honestly so glad I did try it, I would pick the kebab burger over a beef pattie anyday! Reasonable prices very friendly staff! Definitely recommend 👌 10/10 🫶👏

The trip from Durham was 100% worth it to visit the best deli on the west road. Firstly,the service... Excellent, super friendly family run deli, went out their way to get extra samosa for my chaat, nowhere else has ever done this for me... nothing was too much trouble. The food..omg man...the foooood....I had my first ever honey chilli panini and samosa chaat from here in December and I have dreamed of them weekly ever since, not even joking,so today I had to do it ,the freshest, flavourful chaat was produced by the most amazing woman,home cooked authentic recipe the flavours and textures were perfectly combined, I took one home for my partner who struggled to describe what emotions were partying in his mouth,but he happily agreed that he could eat it every day..the fries were amazing as always,not just any old fries these are THE FRIES... My daughter (who's yet to take a leap to try the Most amazing flavours) opted for a chicken sheek kebab wrap and thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall humbling experience from this fabulous little family run deli..you must try it...scrap these boring fast food places and get real ,fresh cooked , authentic food with homemade secret recipes...you will not be disappointed.
