We went in here for a coffee and what a great place. Atmosphere was lovely everyone greeted us with hello. It was busy but didn’t wait very long. All the beautiful cakes scones etc are made in the cafe and they are so so delicious. We had cheese scones well I have never seen such tall scones and they were so tasty. Great value. This place has a lot of special needs people working here and they are so lovely and attentive to you nothing is too much trouble. Wish there was more places like this we will definitely go again when we are in the area.

As a family, we love Wesleys. It's the only place in town that if safe to bring our extremely energetic 17 month old. They have a fab little play area for young children with toys, a play kitchen, bean bags, books and sofas for adults. The food is really reasonably priced, there is a good variety of fresh cakes and drinks. The staff are very friendly and I believe are volunteers (I could be wrong). I can't fault the facilities, the food and drink, the staff, the location, the venue or anything else.

Wonderful cheese herby scones, which they offered to warm for us, [the only place that offered] with filter coffee [machine was broken probably repaired now though] the service was great, spotlessly clean, as absolute delight. They carried everything to the table staff were polite . What more could you want. Would definitely go again

I’m upset that my kids have been severely I’ll with sickness & diarrhoea. I’m unsure if it was the food or if it was the toys that were so unclean, they’ve caught a horrible bug. This has truly upset our half term.

Wesley’s @ The Spire is right in the centre of Poole. We came across it by accident as we visited the town today and sat down outside as we had two small dogs with us. We had coffee and then decided to stay for lunch. We both had quiche Lorraine with salad and chips. The coffees were reasonably priced and the meal itself good value at £7 each.

Heart of the town location. 2 tiers of terraced outside seating fronting the pedestrian high street, great for people watching. The interior is light, bright & spacious, very comfortably covid distanced, with check-in & sanitisers all in place. The menu caters for most tastes, ham, egg & chips (him) & home made mediterranean quiche + salad (me). The quiche was excellent, soft inside with a crispy base, & he was very pleased with the generous 3 ham slice & 2 eggs, reported as all delicious. Plus Earl grey organic tea & a large latte came to about £13.00'ish. All was presented with care & served by young people. A delightful find to which we will now become loyal customers.

What a lovely place. Had a warm welcome. Good menu and very reasonably priced. Tables and chairs cleaned before you sit down. Didn’t have to wait long for our sandwiches and pot of tea. The sandwiches were full of delicious fillings. Nice to have a decent teapot. Nice to see that they have special needs people to serve and help. They were all very polite. Toilets spotless. Will be back when we are in Poole again.

Located right in the centre of Poole, Wesley’s is a lovely cafe that you might almost walk right passed if you weren’t paying attention - a real hidden gem. Food is made fresh to order and there are lots of lovely homemade cakes. It’s also amazing value for money. The cafe is spacious and there’s a lovely play area for children at one end, making it suitable for the young as well as the young at heart. My husband, his family & I were sat at a table next to the play area. That allowed us to relax and watch our 15 month old grand/son/cousin play rather than worry about him running round a busy crowded coffee shop. He loved the play area, as it had a variety of toys, jigsaws & a table for reading / colouring books . We ordered a variety of sandwiches, panini, cakes & hot drinks. Everyone enjoyed what they had. There’s also free WiFi and baby change facilities in both the ladies and gents toilets. There’s even more to this cafe than meets the eye if you look a little closer. People with learning difficulties and disabilities volunteer to help run the cafe, giving them valuable experiences & helping them to develop skills & feel a useful part of the community. Buying your coffee and cake here isn’t just shopping locally, you’re also allowing them to continue to run this important community resource & meeting place. We’ll definitely be coming back here next time we visit family in Poole.

Well after walking past this place many times I decided to go in and give it a try. I was pleased I did, I ordered a hot chocolate It was simple lovely. A big mug with loads of cream and good amount of marshmallows the chocolate tasted really good and was piping hot. Plenty of tables and plenty of choice of drinks which are very reasonably priced £1.10 for a tea or filter coffee. Not tried the food yet but will on another visit.

Good value drinks and snacks promptly served. Plain decor but perfect place to take kids and pushchairs, big play area. Friendly staff, good range of cakes. Excellent sandwiches and baked potatoes. Good central meeting place with bric a brac and greeting cards to buy. Coffee and tea quality could be improved but that might affect price. Certainly a place to pop in regularly.

Love this place. Open and friendly and great value. The sandwiches, hot food & cakes are all homemade and delicious. Staff are lovely and as a community project they have lots of volunteers who they train. Amazing space for kids too. Highly recommend it. Only downside for me is that they close at 3pm. Would love to bring the kids after school. xx

Following the redevelopment at the Methodist Church in Poole High Street, The Spire building has been created and includes Wesley's Cafe which is extremely popular and it can be quite hard to get a table. The cafe offers a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes, sandwiches, soup, Panini's and filled jacket potatoes The prices are very reasonable and this adds to the popularity. Once you have secured your table you go to the counter to order. Drinks are made whilst you wait. If you order soup, jacket potatoes etc these are delivered once prepared. The staff are great and work very hard to keep up with demand. This is a good place and easily accessible from the High Street.

Just returned from a delightful meal at Stock. I had the duck and my husband had the calves liver, both were excellent and came with plenty of fresh vegetables. A reasonable price too. Highly recommend!

Pricing and menu is absolutely brilliant. Lovely lady on the counter and the chef certainly knows what he’s doing, even down to asking how I like the eggs cooked. Just moved here, and can see this being my daily breakfast if not regular going forwards. Can’t say I’ve had a better breakfast butty before… Essentially a fully square meal for £5/£6. Thoroughly recommend
