Called here a few months ago as I wanted a sandwich, drink etc. stood by the counter and was ignored. Nobody else waiting to be served and could not be missed as I’m 6’1. Staff member saw me, didn’t speak or acknowledge me in any way. Hence, I walked out. Called there again today, 2 persons behind the counter handling some money, chatting, Totally ignored again, not even a ’one moment etc’. Well, they won’t be handling any of my money in the future.

I booked an afternoon tea for my Grandma’s birthday and was disappointed by the service that we received. We arrived at 2:30 and despite the bakery not closing until 4pm they were cleaning up around us. Also my tea pot that my tea came in was leaking they didn’t replace it they only put a blue piece of paper towel under it. The food was also clearly made hours before and left out until we arrived. It was a shame that I had such a poor experience here as I used to enjoy it so much as a child - the place has completely changed.

Nice little place. Went here for breakfast and it was a good choice. Both me and my bf were impressed with the food. I’ve got the all in one pan dish, which was very tasty, and a big portion too. Everything was cooked well. My bf had the beets hummus toasts and he really liked them. Service was quick and friendly. Got a couple of locally sourced products too which we still have to taste. Dog friendly which is always a plus. Recommended.

Food was delicious. Plenty of it and was very tasty. It did take quite a while to arrive considering there was only 2 other tables dining at the time. Menu had a very wide selection with things on it you wouldn't normally see which makes a nice change. Our table was a little on the small side for 4 adults, especially by the time that teapots and the food had arrived but overall experience was good

Stumbled across Gingers whilst staying in Milford Haven. The food was amazing, everyone in our party was blown away with how good it was. The decor was quirky and cosy and the staff very welcoming. The added bonus was the Gluten free options. The waitress asked if I was coeliac and then informed me my food would take a little longer to prepare - which I was more than happy with. Will definitely be returning next time in Milford Haven.

Ring up to book a table, arrive, says to wait to be seated. Staff ignore you. Finally seated, no drinks or menu. Had to ask for menu at the till even though staff are stood round by the counter. Had to return again to ask for drinks as none were offered. Had to catch a member of staff through passing to order our food. Constantly chasing. Food was tasty though. Staff did not clear up after we had finished even though we stayed chatting for some time. Payed the bill at the till and left. (Plates were still at the table). Shame the staff on the restaurant side can’t be bothered and have bad attitudes as the staff on the takeaway side are lovely, fun & bubbly.

We came here for breakfast in a group of 5. Having booked in advance, we were seated next to a large window. The restaurant had an authentic, down-to-Earth feel, and was just what we were looking for. I ordered avocado on toast. This was delicious, with black pepper sprinkled on top of the avocado. When I make avocado toast, I usually like to add a generous squeeze of lemon, but each to their own. The toast that I received did not disappoint. All of the other meals followed a similar theme: nothing fancy, but nails the basics. Each dish was well-cooked and generously sized. Furthermore, you got the distinct impression that the staff enjoyed running the cafe, and this really came across in the service and the food. An authentic, traditional Welsh bakery and café - would recommend.

Ordered 2 ices coffees. Came out as 2 pints of milk with a weak shot of coffee and ice. Said to the staff that there is no coffee in this and that it basically tastes like a plain milkshake and could we please have another shot of coffee, so that it would taste some what like to what we actually ordered from the menu. They then made us pay for an extra shot of coffee for the iced coffee to taste no different. For £4 per iced coffee you expect it to taste decent. We then ordered poached eggs and seasoned mushrooms on toast with avocado. Came out served with 2 hard boiled eggs, unseasoned mushrooms and Avocado. Really disappointing as such a lovely venue and rated highly you expect a nice meal if the cost for 2 breakfasts and 2 iced coffees is £30.. This was a treat to ourselves thinking we were going to sit back and relax and enjoy eating high quality tasty food. Never write reviews but for the very high pricing you expect what is written on the menu to be served as described and to a good, tasty standard. The price needs to match the quality of food served. Unfortunately we had a poor experience of poor quality food and drink for such high pricing.

I visited for the 1st time after shopping for my Wedding dress on Charles Street in October 2017. The lady at the wedding shop told me it was excellent food...so we were hungry and had lunch here. It was sooo nice that we came back again. Anyway a year has passed and I was thinking of taking some relatives somewhere special and decided to revisit for lunch. We booked a table for 3 as it is a very popular place and fills up quickly. I would recommend the strawberry and white hot chocolate...yummy and nice on cooler days. I love the jacket potato and also the tuna, cheese and onion marmalade white bread sarnies. My relatives suggest for people to try the rarebit and buck rarebit which they enjoyed! The coffees were lovely and creamy too! The times we went at midday were busy and the only down side is waiting for the food can be up to 40 minutes BUT it is worth the wait and the food is excellent. Well worth becoming a regular place to eat. Nice girls who serve you...really friendly.

The new refurbishment is very stylish and comfortable with lots of original design features such as the 'tea pot lighting'. One street to visit was Robert St were our grandparents lived, it was here we came across Gingers, longing for a cup of tea and sit down we called in, the tea came in little cast iron tea pots the milk in miniature bottles the attention to detail out this world. The food was cooked as you order so it was nice and hot and the cleanliness was one of the best. Definitely a place to visit if only for a drink.

We were in Haverfordwest and needed a quick bite to eat for lunch, Gingers was the first place we passed and though it doesn't look particularly tempting from outside we went in and gave it a go. Well, what a treat, lovely homemade food on fresh baked bread (i had a classic bacon sandwich on white my wife had a turkey stuffing sandwich on brown with cranberry. Both absolutely delicious. They came with the usual salad which was fresh, tasty and just enough. We had a small pot of tea each served in very unusual tea pots and brewed from leaves not bags. Very nice and boiling hot, like tea should be. Service is very friendly and quick, the place is clean and tidy and because it is part of the bakery the smell of fresh bread and cakes is to die for. Called today for large cod and chips x two takeaway. Cost £23.80. The chips looked like oven chips and were tasteless and dry. The large fish was in fact two small fillets joined together side by side and battered. On first glance it looked like a large fish but the flesh was only quarter of an inch deep so there were no lovely flakes of cod which you expect when you pay for a large portion, what little cod flesh there was was dry and crumbly.
