Today's outing was a return visit from July. I had such a fantastic experience on the first occasion that I had to return a few months later. For under £10 you get a cracking Sunday roast cooked by the top chef that is Richard and Mandy is a wonderful host. A generous portion of food is provided and the quality is excellent. Now they are expanding on to week day meals which me and the wife are keen to try. Keep up the excellent service guys!

Moved to Burton 9 months ago and have have the pleasure in sampling many of the brilliant local pubs. The Weighbridge is most certainly up there with the best. Mandy and Richard are really friendly and welcoming. The ales are excellent and luckily we found out they do a great Sunday lunch ............ wow !! It's a very friendly pub with great ales and everyone we've met in there have also been so friendly. If you're in Burton, this place is a must. Visiting the Weighbridge is definitely on our regular "to do" list. Thanks to the Weighbridge :-)

Great rotation of good beers, plus their own brews. Rolls, Pork pies and lesser bar snacks available. Although I live a stones throw from one good Burton micropub now I find I am not using preferring Weighbridge. Super!

Visited here whilst in Burton for the Merchant of Avon steam train. A lovely micro pub in the car park of the Travelodge so ideal location. 4 cask ales which were well kept as you’d expect with the owners being brewers! Also had a lager, 2 ciders and a craft beer from the keg. Selection of gins too.

This pub was right next to the station and pretty much in the car park at Travelodge where we stayed! What a bonus! Great selection of real ales. Plenty of seating inside and out considering how tiny this pub looked in the outside. A real gem, very much in keeping with the history and renown of Burton on Trent. Landlord and landlady were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We were even offered a bowl of stew when we returned in the evening for a nightcap! Thank you.

My family and I spent an evening at this charming micro pub now under new management (Muirhouse Brewery). It is located very close to Burton railway station opposite Travelodge and is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings and from lunchtime at weekends. A selection of house and guest beers, wines and spirits. The pub consists of two rooms with around six tables with seating for approx 20 people although most were congregating round the bar while we were there. There is also an outdoor seating area. Doesn't serve food on a regular basis other than crisps, pork scratchings etc.however there are fast food places within a few minutes walk. We'll certainly be back!

A lovely small pub to stop off for a pint. If you are in the area make the effort to pop in, it's a lovely quaint tiny pub with good beer and a very friendly welcome. If you like real ale then it's a must.

The Weighbridge Inn is a small micropub on Derby Street, Burton; just a few minutes walk from the train station. You might easily miss it (Google Maps has the location wrong): It's located at the corner of Derby Street, in a corner! The pub itself is very small indeed, and the decor - if you can call it that - is hardly inviting. However, there are a number of hand-pumped real ales from smaller breweries on offer, and those are fresh and well-kept. Being tiny and a bit shabby, it's not a place to linger for you and your friends.

We were staying in the Travelodge, and had seen this pub (previously called Middle Earth) on a previous visit but never ventured inside. It's a lovely little pub, drinks are very reasonable (£3.80 for a pint and a coke), and great atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again!!

We were staying at the hotel over the way, saw this little pub & was amazed at the warm hospitality, fantastic customer service, range of drinks. They catered for all of our groups tastes with real ale, lager, wines and spirits alike. They have a big selection gin, with a selection of tonics, so I was sold. The guy with a beard made us feel so welcome, followed by a tall young lady, we didn’t deviate into the town centre. Can’t wait to visit again. Definitely worth at least a drink or two no matter where you are headed, reasonably priced too. Shame we missed the themed nights, as the regulars made them sound lovely.

I had some time to spare before my train home, and the Weighbridge Inn is under 5 minutes walk from the station. The cosy little pub was formerly offices for the coal merchants, the weigh bridge and office stands nearby. I enjoyed a lovely pint of still cider from Broadoak sitting outside in the sunshine. This was a peaceful little spot in the centre of town surrounded by old buildings, one old warehouse nearby is now a Travelodge.

We popped into The Weighbridge on our way back to our hotel (perfect for the Travelodge - literally yards away from the hotel!) this evening for a quick drink and were absolutely delighted to find it - a tiny, cosy, friendly little place, which is incredibly roomy inside - full of character, with lovely people and delicious mango cider (who would have thought it!). Looking forward to moving to Burton so this can be a local. Thank you for a lovely welcome and a delightful end to the evening - a real find!

The Weighbridge Inn was the highlight of an otherwise poor trip to Burton. Proper pub, real ales, good company and a homemade cottage pie that was excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. And dog friendly too.

In the car park opposite the Travelodge is a small brick building - the Weighbridge Inn. It's only basically one bar room & a toilet but with a nice friendly atmosphere & good craft beers with others on offer. We couldn't have made more welcome & enjoyed our drinks sat outside in the sun. Great find.

Stopped here for a light lunch …. Scampi, fries & peas - delicious. Will call in again one evening when there may be more atmosphere. They welcome dogs which is absolutely fine but they should stay on the floor not lie on a chair where I may wish to sit!!

Decided to stop off at this little pub for a spot of lunch in the 'snug/bar area' before our planned spa retreat. What a treat!! Absolutely gorgeous place that oozes charm with such a warm and friendly atmosphere and welcome. Meals were so delicious and the cocktails were amazing too. If you are in the area or fancy a drive to a beautiful location with plenty of stunning walking spots then give this place a try. You definitely won't be dissapointed 😊

Visited here after a while. I was shocked. The owner was a lady who I had paid for dog walking whilst lockdown was happening, even worse she had been claiming furlough and leaving her cafe closed and getting paid for dog walking. I don't think this is very ethical. Thankfully I wasn't reconised however service was slow and the menu full of very unhealthy things and the tables far too close together for COVID. Will not return.

Myself and my family were staying 5 miles away at hanbury barns for my nephews wedding. We needed somewhere for breakfast and the Hideaway fitted the bill. Nice food, efficient service. Thank you
