Lovely little coffee shop that serves really delicious morning breakfast rolls. We’ve popped in a couple of times and always found that rolls to be fresh & tasty - plus it’s superb value! You can easily get two 3 filling rolls for under a £10 - not many places in Edinburgh will do that! Highly recommend

It is exactly a ‘wee’ place. I read the reviews before visiting as we wanted breakfast and I’m so glad I did, what a gem of a place. The owner is lovely. She served with a smile and nothing was too much trouble it was a busy takeaway too. There are 3 tables inside so you can sit down We were staying at the Travel Lodge next door so visited the Wee cafe a couple of times It’s not expensive and preferred to eat here than at the TL.

This wonderful little breakfast Cafe was literally yards from our Travelodge hotel and again only yards from the Royal Mile. Only about seven seats around tiny tables but the greeting, the food and coffees and service were just excellent! Prices are very good with two filled rolls and two coffees coming to £8. They are only open from 8am till 2.30pm so don’t miss out on a simple but truly lovely snack and drink experience. We are going back tomorrow morning to try a Haggis Roll, maybe with a fried egg?

What a fabulous little place. Found this place whilst looking for a light bite for lunch as we didn't want a full meal. Both had a panini and a bottle of juice, we were £10.40 in total. Food was served hot, paninis were well filled and juice was beautifully cold much to our happiness as it was an extremely hot day. A short walk down from the royal mile. Full breakfasts, breakfast rolls, soups, sandwiches, toasties, paninis etc. Cannot recomme d this place enough and will be back next time we are in Edinburgh

We had breakfast here twice. Thus consisted of bacon and fried egg sandwiches which were quite substantial but tasty and made with lovely bread. The large cups of hot coffee were full of flavour. Moreover everything was served quickly by a pleasant, charming lady. Sandwiches are available to take away. Please note that these breakfasts are sandwiches not plated meals.

A Perfect little find for breakfast, this quaint gem of a cafe is a 3 minute walk to the royal mile. If you are looking for a tasty breakfast roll before a day of walking I would fuel up here any day! The cafe only has 3 small tables which adds to the fab atmosphere. We had bacon and egg rolls they were so tasty and perfect sizes!

We called to the Wee Bite on our way back to the station after our recent break to Edinburgh. The lady who served us was really friendly, the food was freshly cooked and piping hot. £3.30 for a hot roll and tea/coffee is a bargain compared to other cafes in Edinburgh. Every time we passed it the shop was always busy, especially with local workmen which is generally a good sign as locals always know the best places to go.

From the outside, this luncheonette doesn't catch your eye. It's on a side street off the Royal Mile and if you don't know it's there, you could miss it or be distracted by any of the dozen or so eateries that surround it. You won't find any hard, crumbly scones or overpriced sweet treats here. There is no fuss or fanciness. The tables are small and the space is tiny because most people are working locally and pop in to grab a sandwich and soup to go.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the first class lunch served to us at the Wednesday Lunch Club in The Gift Tree Corstorphine. Started with a delicious Amuse Bouche. Followed with cheese and broccoli quiche. Served with baked potato and coleslaw. Pudding was a scrumptious berry crumble with custard. Together with a hot drink. Excellent value!

This is a church cafe run by volunteers. It says it is an outreach cafe and an asset to the community - but this is hardly the case when the prices are off putting and more expensive than most cafes run as businesses. A very poor cappuccino cost £3.40 and my baked potato was nearly £8. It is set up in a church hall and the volunteers are pleasant but not exactly efficient (my baked potato was left on an adjacent table until I asked where it was). All the members of our table had their food delivered at different times so some were finished before others had started (we ordered together).
