Weavers Bar in Barnet

It's called The Barrington, now. Didn't buy any food. Had some dry roasted peanuts and a non alcohol beer called Becks Blue in the glorious sunny weather 😎 outside.

As good as ever. Unfortunately I saw AFC lose to NF. BUT I enjoyed my meal.

It’s my first visit to the pub and I would come back here again. The friendliness of staff as well as the lovely atmosphere made our visit even more memorable. This hidden jewel is definitely worth a visit!

Been 3 times and fights almost breaking out 2 times

Had an amazing time with my friends and family on my birthday.. the staff was awesome,great and drinks.. highly recommend this place for friends or family or both..

Traditional Irish boozer, friendly staff, pool table.

Lively karaoke pub, good crowd every weekend. Would recommend to any sad extroverts suffering with the lockdown blues. Even after unlockdown - (somewhere near Watership down probably) you have to drink an awfu' lotta beers to get called for just one song.

I've never eaten from here so cannot comment on food. However, the service and atmosphere are always top notch. Friday night is the best time to go here, they have the best karaoke night going.

I haven't eaten here, but on Friday nights they have really good karaoke.

Great friendly pub and great beer

What a weird pub service poor , heating on some much you could sit there just in swimming trunks.Never had service that bad , dropped glasses while collecting them and left the broken glass on the floor around our feet for about 10 mins !!!!!! place was so bad ot was funny like Fawlty Towers

absolutely appalling. took 40 mins for our starters to come out and the soup was extremely salty! the service was horrible and they left our food sitting on the side to go cold. there were only 2 people taking orders and one was very abundant leaving the other on her own. the only good thing was the girl that was practically working on her own (not sure what her name is, very tall and works 2 days a week) she helped us with everything we asked and was very sympathetic. we ended up leaving because of these factors and will not be returning. very disappointed do not recommend.

Ill tell you all a great bit of honest impartial advice without doubt and NO equal whatsoever this public house serves the best Guinness in the whole of London bar none .

I was in the area and decided to go the Weavers to watch the football. Huge pub with pool tables. Plenty of screens dotted around.

Decent Irish owned pub with food straight forward food menu and local crowd. Always seems to have the sport on and bit of Karaoke / DJ on most Friday evenings

Bar staff fairly miserable and unfriendly. Not many punters for a Friday night Karaoke. As soon as closing Bell rung they wanted us out.

i have experienced most dreadful encounter with the owner of this establishment. i have been driving along Greenhill Parade and really needed to use the WC, so stopped the car and went in quickly, however, the owner stopped me and requested that i buy a pint then he will allow me to go to the loo. i have explained that i am driving hence i can not drink. to my surprise he answered that he did not care and became to be aggressive. i even offered him £5 that's how desperate i was. to my surprise he shouted that this money is no good to him and still insisted that i buy a pint. i can not believe how people can be so ignorant and nasty. due my vulnerability (i have autistic spectrum) i still can not shake if off. Think twice before you decide to use this dreadful and unpleasant place.

Fish and chips were excellent as was the pint of Guinness that I had, would certainly recommend it

Every time I go there I find very friendly staff and good atmosphere!!

Have drove past the pub a few times and though it looks nice, I thought it was a small shop front pub. When you get inside it is a suprise, huge pub with two bars. Nicely done up with helpful staff. Well priced with good reasonable priced food. A real gem of a pub. Would highly recommend 😊

For a place that was completely empty, it amazes me how obnoxious the service was. I skipped the idea of a Sunday roast and had a really nice burger over the road.

Made a booking over the phone when all four groups turned up the restraunt area was privately booked and no one inside seemed to know what was going on. We were left just standing there while the guy we spoke to just disappeared. So we had to leave and find somewhere else.

Lovely pub. Popped in for a quick pint whilst out walking. We shall be returning for a meal there.

Best Sunday roast I had in years. Not sure why this place is relatively empty. But the leg of Welsh lamb roast is amazing.

Just hosted a dozen University of the Third Age Barnet group for my French for beginners Christmas lunch at Weavers. Food is 5 star fantastic in quality. Well done to owner Rosemary and her helpful staff. Jeffrey.

Lively pub with good food at sensible prices. Pub is kept clean. Great bar staff. Friday night is super karaoke night. Well run.

Nice place to watch sport. Have great deals on homemade food and tastes amazing too - got myself the sausage, mash and onions with gravy. Lots of choice of beers and friendly staff 👌 will be back. New best local option in barnet.

Really great place since the refurbishment. Lovely dining room and then the bar separate with a good quality pool table. Very friendly service and the bar tenders are always helpful with helping me choose something new to try. Clean, good environment and lovely food. The portions are decent. Nice that there is seating outside for us smokers

Home cooked food (Not microwaved!)makes the food taste fresh I ordered fish cakes with chilli sauce with chips and peas very good value 12.50 for two followed with apple pie and custard very tasty served with a jug of custard .Unfortunately no real ale on offer! Just London Pride The atmosphere is limted to a TV showing a darts match in one ear , and background pop music in the other. I eat out to leave the TV at home ! The staff were friendly and helpful.

Not been there in the evening, but have been there for coffee and lunch. Very friendly staff, with good coffee. Lunches are fresh and properly cooked. Not like you get in many other pubs, where it is overcooked and I am sure, poured out of plastic bags. My only complaint is that it is not overly comfortable.

Really small inside + you can’t play pool if you don’t buy a drink.

Be careful when using credit card . Manager takes your card and does not show you the amount or give receipts. When I asked for a receipt he said he makes the rules and told me to go to another pub. Obviously a scam going on with credit cards. Be warned stay away. Been reported to MasterCard and visa

I don't normally write reviews but I come to weavers every sunday, I have a delicious sizzling steak and my wife always has roast beef. Highly recommended!

Just moved into the area of Barnet went to weavers for Sunday lunch, family of 10. Must say we had the most delicious roast ever. Found it to be very welcoming we will definitely be back
