Wearside Farm Pub Restaurant in Sunderland

Friendly and helpful staff kids loved their meals would've given a 5star rating but I'm afraid my beef was very dry and chewy but still very good service and rest of meal was delicious.

Tried this place last night for the first time. Very impressed! We went for the carvery (about 6pm,) and it did not disappoint. Generous portions of meats, proper Yorkshire puds and beef dripping roasties with plenty of veg choice and thick tasty gravy. If you have any room left there are some impressive cakes and cheesecakes to choose from (huge portions which you may just have to take home! ) There's a cosy ambience there and the staff are lovely - they go above and beyond to make your visit 'homey' - hats off to Josie! It's a bit further to travel for us but after last night, that won't be a problem!

As always we could not fault our vist to wearside farm for our family dinner and great service from rabeya very friendly and polite and caring always and and penny's she is always helpful polite ans caring

What incredible staff. We held a special birthday party here and the staff could not have been more helpful. Graham in particular ensured that it all went as smoothly as possible and we were so well looked after.

Just me and me little girl. It was quiet at 6pm so worked a treat lol. I got the Farmhouse Chip Shop Supper and it was absolutely banging! Shout out to the chefs as honestly I loved it. Best chippy meal I’ve had and I like a chippy. The little one got a kiddies meal but was too busy playing. Nevertheless she scoffed her ice cream for afters. Thanks very much. Lovely food tonight.

Casey was was an absolute angel helping me sort out my discount card and showing great patience and understanding. Staff like Casey makes me want to return as she’s a great asset to the Wearside Farm. Rabeya was also very polite and courteous as I’d expect from a good waitress. Thank you both ladies for a lovely dining experience.

When we arrived at Wearside farm it was extremely busy but only had to wait 10 mins to get a table which was quicker than expected. We choose to have the carvery which was very nice and hot to and we were looked after by Andi who was both friendly and efficient. So overall a very good experience.

Mother’s Day was lovely and the carvery was really good. It was busy but got food in a reasonable time. The staff went above and beyond, had little ones and they helped where ever they could, would defo recommend.
