Wave Bar in Liverpool

Very cheap bar when it was happy hour.Good to watch football.The seats had stains on were we were sitting.Needs a good clean.The toilets stunk off urine both ladies and gents.

Drinks prices are very reasonable, in fact quite reasonable for the city centre. Plenty of space if you go in a large group, or snug little corners if you prefer a quiet table for two. Me and my group of friends go quite often and I also pop in with my partner. It's quite near to Lime Street train station as well.

Well what can I say! We enter into a time warp. It was musky. Lady at the bar welcoming but the rest hmmm not great...three security men on the front I'm really not sure why as the pub was dead! The toilets, that is the worse we have every been in. One broken and the smell from both the men's and females was disgusting and when mentioned to a staff member we were told "it's not my problem"!! Real staff service at the finest. We will never ever set foot it this pub. Needs updating and a deep clean a real think what they do with this place given its attached to a hotel.

Had fish, chips and mushy peas. £11.50 Not worth it! It was the worst fish ever. Thin and extremely dry. Both fish and thin chips were overcooked. Staff very obliging, but that's the only positive.

Bar en el centro de la ciudad del hotel Adelphi. Buenas ofertas especiales de promoción, bebidas baratas con un gran personal. Sky Sports en pantalla y varios entretenimientos por las tardes.

Came here with my partner as we were spending the night at the hotel as a last minute thing it was August 2018 and it was fairly busy with I think a coach party or two mostly older people who were all enjoying a pub quiz. Good atmosphere and good deal on the drinks.

I persuaded my husband to take me here for lunch as I wanted to see the Adelphi Hotel, what a disappointment. Stains on the carpets, one of the ladies loos did not even have a seat on it and we had a very ordinary ham sandwich, don't bother.

Came here for the final and had a brilliant time, friendly service, great atmosphere , will return soon

We have visited the Wave Bar many times over the past few years. Think it is probably one of the cheapest pubs in Liverpool! It is located under the Britannia Adelphi on Coppers Hill and is a large open style bar. It gets really busy during the afternoons when it is full of locals, probably due to the low prices! The customers tend to be of a more ‘mature age’ and we didn’t really get many Hen or Stag parties in there. Don’t know what it’s like during the evenings as we just make use of the cheap beer and then move on to somewhere else. The staff are friendly enough there and the bar area and toilets were clean and tidy. Food is served there but I’m not sure what the quality is like. The menu ranged from sandwiches to main courses of burgers, lamb and fish. There were also meal offers Monday to Saturday 12 noon to 4 pm with 2 main meals for £10. Really good bar to start off your day out in Liverpool!
