Possibly the worst fish supper ever and thats up against some stiff opposition. I gave 1 star and being honest that was over generous. 95% inedible. Chips were disgusting. The fish was overly greasy and the chips couldve been cooked a week ago in very old oil. If this is the best they can do they shouldnt serve food. How Just eat rates them as 4.6/5 is beyond me. Avoid unless you want to be sick. Truly shocking!

I've had a lot of scampi suppers in my time, but none of them have come close to the one I had from here. The scampi was cooked to perfection, and the batter was light and crispy. The chips were fluffy and delicious, and the tartar sauce was tangy and creamy. I had to call my mum to tell her how BEAUTIFUL it was! I highly recommend this takeaway to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the food is always top-notch. 10 out of 10!

Don't know about the fish as its beyond my budget and noodles aren't my thing but the potato fritters and chips taste delicious. Like lots of delicious things though, it needs to be only a once in a blue moon thing for my health.

Nah!!!. I was brought up on Watsons chippy and then it changed to the New Watsons chippy in the teens. This is the first time I have been into this premises and I wouldn't go back. The fish hasn't been cleaned it is full of bones. The battered sausage has an aftertaste . The black pudding has been incinerated. The chips are minging. No idea what oil is being used but it is disgusting.

Got a large bag of chips 3.50 got home cold the chips are like they were last nights left overs re heated won't be back the picture shows some off the chips as was sharing them but whole bag was like that waste of money

We decided to try out the new chippy and what a good decision! The pizza crunch was described by my girlfriend as the best she’d had in a long time, and trust she’s had a lot of pizza crunches in her time. Let me assure you, this chippy is 100 yards away, and that simply isn’t close enough.

Really good fish and chips and friendly staff! The owner tells me that the chips are made from scratch in the shop and that the curry sauce is homemade too! You can really taste the flavour 👍🏼 Highly recommend.

I dont usually write reviews but i've been going to this chip shop for 20 years and Watsons has been in perth since thr 50s. Me and my family love it. Great customer service and amazing homemade curry sauce!

Good place for a quick bite or just a bag of chips to take away

Large portions which equals better value for money and making you full up. One of the best curry sauces in Perth. Great fish and chips. Big menu. Very friendly people. Very helpful. Fluent English. I wish more people were as nice as them.

Fish was inedible and chewy batter. Fish didn’t smell nice and chips greasy. Not impressed. Wouldn’t go back as so disappointing.

The food was horrible. I would advise people to stay away. Be contacting the food standard people first thing tomorrow. seriously bad 3hrs on the toilet.

Had a variety of meals here at the weekend when visiting family for a lazy night in. Food was brilliant was ready quickly and still piping hot once home. Price was good too just what we needed to finish a nice weekend away should have gone here both nights instead of what we actually did would have saved time and money and we would have enjoyed it more. Never mind we might just do this next time. Thumbs up thank you

The server was really nice and seemed genuinely embarrassed when the Chinese man kept coming out and insisting we be charged extra. The noodles tasted funny and the curry sauce disgusting. I was charged through the nose for a truly disgusting meal

Just arrived home with a chicken schzwan ( chicken breast with sweet and sour spicy sauce). Absol garbage. The food only filled half the tub ( which turned out to b a blessing) and on serving it the sauce which is usually thick and spicy was just a small amount of runny water with some chilli seeds. Really really p***ed off as i hav never tasted a chinese this garbage. Apparently their chippy menu is good so please stick to what ur good at as it certainly is not chinese food unless ur totally pi**ed and on your way home and this is not the cheapest place either. Stay away and goto the Happy Valley chinese the best place in Perth. Watsons was a disgrace worst ever totally tasteless meal.

I was born and brought up in Perth and had always been an ardent follower of Holdgates chippy in South Street, but, I,m now 100% converted to Watsons :) proper old style fish and chips, its now the first place I head to when I visit Perth, its walking distance from the hotel I normally use so its ideal, highly recommended for sure. Well done to all the staff.

The best fish suppers we have had in a long time.we had been to the exmas light switch on party decided to have a carry out on way back to car park not usually at this end of town but definitely go there for next fish supper.

The customer service is always friendly and helpful and the staff on always make you stuff up if there isnt already any made up, food is always excellent,chicken suppers and curry sauce are always really excellent and curries are really yummy aswell

El personal siempre dispuesto a alojar, me gusta mezclar las cosas, intercambiar y cambiar las cosas en el menú chino y nunca es un problema.

Este lugar solía ser bueno, tan triste que los anteriores dueños vendió. No le dan el ir con los nuevos propietarios y era tan decepcionante. El nivel de servicio y la comida no está cerca del nivel como anterior come desde aquí. higiénicos que estaban pasadas y patatas fritas frías, no volveremos y no puedo recomendar.

recently stopped for a portion of takeaway chips,friday 23042015,the premises were quiet, served really quick in and out in minutes. the chips looked like reheats and were warm could not go back to complain( driving a 44 tonne truck} never again.
