Waterfront take away in Dumfries & Galloway

Worst coffee ever....reminded me of something ..watery .. Roll was bad too...tasteless No butter?or very little

Looking for lunch an auld fella said waterfront takeaway is fantastic great food huge portions so we tried it and he was spot on two huge salads with everything in it and cracking portion of chips. Staff were lovely food was fresh and good value for money too highly recommended.

Hadn’t been to the Waterfront for years and decided to stop in and order a breakfast box and filled roll for me and my girlfriend. All I can say is “awesome”! Huge portion and very well cooked, not to mention a cheery happy face taking our order. I’ll definitely be back!

My partner made an order of 15 pounds for a breakfast box and a bacon roll. Asked for the fat to be removed and the bacon well done. Never thought that was a big ask for a roll shop. Came out with all the fat still on and not well done. To top it all off my full order was freezing. I contacted the takeaway to resolve my issue and the boss assured me the would be out on straight away but never returned. This was 2 months ago and keep getting passed around I have contacted the boss garry who assured me once he is off holiday he would resolve my issue until he blocked me off whatsapp. Contacted the people in the shop and there saying they haven't spoken to me before and when I ask their name they say "it's not relevant" kinda is of you're working there and dealing with my problem but yea that's the kind of staff you deal with. Provided all the details he asked then blocked me grat staff.

Had full breakfast well where do i start! Hair on top of egg the slice was rock hard eggs disgusting went in the bin

I have been using this takeaway for years this when our holiday starts as we allways stop bye on our way to our holiday cottage or going to my birth town of Stranraer , It is a place that has a large menu off filled rolls and snacks all to be enjoyed sitting at the river relaxing knowing we are almost home, Please give it a go and maybe it will become part of your holiday as it is for us.

Just a small shop on the sands.....but friendly staff and ideal for a quick lunch...mainly just hot and cold filled rolls

Huge menu of sandwiches with some fun options like eggs & haggis. Coffees, teas, & many other drink options. Great for a lunch on the run. Conveniently located in the central square.

Best breakfast rolls by far! Friendliest staff who get to know customers + make sure they leave happy! Always clean + tidy! My new local!!!

The Waterfront is good for hot and cold takeaway food. THey serve full breakfasts (paper plates), and filled rolls, including fillings like cheese, bacon, black pudding, sausage, potato scones. It fronts onto a busy car park (often full) over the road from the riverside. Great quality and excellent value.

Will often go here for lunch as been visiting since I was wee. Lots of choice - should manage to pick something to take your fancy. Rolls always well filled. Hot fillings fresh.

If fish and chips out of the freezer is your thing then it's grand.For me if i ask for a fish supper i expect something that's actually been caught recently.Nice service and nice bloke cooking but i won't be returning .

This wee place is great for good quality fast food, really great coffee, all reasonably priced, staff are friendly and get to know their regulars. Very clean and no old smells of frying. Don`t know how they managed to squeeze in the coffee maching but its really great coffee !!
