We visited the waterfront yesterday with friends and my 3 Yr old. The sea view and views over Skegness are lovely and it's nice to be in a such a clean and modern place to eat. We had burgers and they were delicious, the kids food was a bit dry and it was extra for beans but all in all good value . The food came out fast and together and we had a nice meal.

Great kids play and fantastic Halloween party. One point to mention is a sign should be put up asking adults to refrain from spraying hair spray/dry shampoo in the area (use the bathroom stupid woman) as no thought given to my grandkids good just behind and then starts brushing her hair with loose hair flying all over.amount of spray used good job no asthmatic children around

This restaurant is hidden away on the third floor (lift and stairs available) of one of the newer amusement arcades in Skegness, but its worth finding!We visit Skegness regularly (including a week there once a year) and always use Waterfront for a meal. The staff are all exceptionally helpful and polite, there is a wide range of reasonably priced and excellent food and the view across the beach and sea is second to none. Over the years we have tried most things on the menu (plus a few from the specials board) and have never been disappointed. The whole restaurant is also exceptionally clean and the food is always cooked freshly!Meals for children are also very well priced. If you are ever in Skegness and want a meal make sure you try Waterfront!

Been coming to Skegness for many years, always the bowls week and last four years make The Waterfront a regular. Always find the food a cut above the traditional seaside offerings and this year was no exception. Food was of very good quality and the attitude of the staff was exemplary, especially when one of our party had an accident and their food ended up on the floor. The food was cleared up immediately and replaced within 10 minutes in a very professional manner.Can’t understand why the place was nearly empty as we always find the food and service to be of a high quality.

Hidden on the 3rd floor of an amusement arcade, I was skeptical. We were seated quickly by the window and wow, what a view!! As a group of 4 ,we ordered drinks and food, 2 steak mushroom and onion baguettes, 2 jacket potatoes plus fillings. The wait wasn't too long as it is cooked fresh to order. The food was plentiful and all came with salad, the food was delicious. With drinks (some alcohol) cost us £10 each, bargain!! Highly recommended and will definitely return in the future.

Ate here whilst my children were playing at kids world. The prices are brilliant and also have deals all week on both adults and kids meals. I had a roast beef and Yorkshire Sunday lunch for £8 and my plate was full with extra gravy on the side. It was absolutely delicious. My children had either kids or junior meals and they were great serving size as well and included a drink. It arrived quickly by helpful and polite staff so there is nothing bad to say about it at all. I would return and recommend.

Came with my family both my kids have food allergies staff were really helpful and friendly. I had the potatoe skins to start and my husband had the breaded mushrooms both starters were excellent and hot. We both had pizzas for main really good tasty and fresh you could tell they had just been cooked and were lovely and hot couldn't fault it at all my kids also enjoyed there meals to. Staff couldn't do enough to help us. We will definitely be back for another meal very very enjoyable. They also have a vegan and vegetarian menu which is great nothing but good things to say !!! See you really soon

Staff were really helpful and polite , couldn’t say one bad thing about anything we had , everything was perfectly cooked and we ate the lot , really reasonable prices , had a lovely time , thanks :)

We have been a few times, it used to be very good but unfortunately the last few times it has been going downhill. Today was a disappointment. 2 adults and 2 children, 45 minute wait after ordering, soggy bases on pizzas, over cooked gammon. Waiter was nice but we didn’t think much to the chefs foul language we could hear very loudly from the kitchen considering this place is targeted at families as well! Won’t be returning to eat.

Visited restaraunt yesterday, wanted De Caf tea, the box was empty but never offered to see if they had any elsewhere, has I am sure they must have some stock. The restaraunt was completely empty, I would of thought they would of appreciated somecustom. We came her last year and the staff were friendly. Won’t b going again.The Steamboat will get our trade when we come to Skegness.

We have been here before on a number of occasions and have had really nice food and good service. Easter Sunday we came again and were really disappointed. I had special of pasta aribiatta which was ok, obviously microwaved and over spiced. Kids had junior meals, spar bol seemed to have shepherds pie rather than Bolognese. She ordered chilli and rice. Asked waiter if came with sour cream etc which he grunted that would see what could do. Came without with no mention of it... Kids corn on cob was missing and substituted with sweet corn. Again no mention and when queried were told 'we ain't got none.' Staff were unfriendly and nobody asked if all was ok until collecting plates. Said chilli was disgusting. Not eaten. Brown mushy mess that had been nuked and said not paying for. Manager came over and started telling us that she eats it and she thinks it is ok... obviously got different standards to us. She was reluctant to take off the bill. Eventually did but no apology and was really arsey. Overall this was a totally bad experience. Place was empty on Easter Sunday, was this down to the staff and food? All staff (apart from 1 young girl) were lacking in customer service skills. Shame as a nice setting and as mentioned we had nice experience previously.

Before even sitting down we were told we had to order our meals at the till..strange but ok. Partner ordered lasagne and onion rings, I had pepper, mushroom and onion fajitas and our daughter had chicken nuggets and chips. Firstly the man taking our order was more interested in the two young women clearly getting a free meal from him in the booth next to the till area. It was sad to see such desperation but each to their own! My partners lasagne was clearly frozen then microwaved and the onion rings were extremely pale and barely cooked. Our daughters meal was literally the smallest kids portion I think I have ever seen and the juice she got with it might as well have been water! My fajitas were nice (good old El Paso spice mix used) BUT only had around two pieces of mushroom and say 4 slices of peppers-definitely mostly onion! The restaurant was boiling hot too so couldn’t enjoy the food even if it was nice as we just wanted to get out into fresh air. Not very well done at all and no wonder it was empty on such a busy day. We were really disappointed with our meal and the service here. Hope the manager employs more experienced staff rather than girls just out of school.

We knew when visiting that it wasn’t going to be fine dining in Skegness, but when you are paying £10 for fish and chips, you expect it to be at least as nice as a chip shop. My partner said how can you go wrong with fish and chips? It did look nice when it arrived, but as soon as I cut into the fish, I knew it was a disaster. There was so much batter and I can only describe the actual fish as the size of a gold fish. It was tough and very dry, you could tell it had been frozen, and then over cooked. I felt like it was £10 down the drain. It was the worst I have ever had. The waitress asked how our meals were, and I said that it was tough and dry, and hardly any fish, she said ‘what do you want to me to do?, pass the comments on?. You tell me love, you are the one serving. They should automatically pass the comments on. We never complain anywhere, and are not the sort of people who want money back. The staff should have more training in customer service when there are complaints. We would never eat here again on this basis. If you want fish and chips, go to a chippy

Came to waterfront with my mother for lunch...all I can say is I was very disappointed!

We always eat at the Waterfront when ever we come to Skegness. Its never let us down. We have always had a good meals there and the prices are very reasonable. Resturant is always clean, staff helpful too!

Meals were all good 3 different staff actually came to the table 3 times to check we had ordered are food so maybe need a little bit of organisation needed will return food very good

Visited the Waterfront a few weeks ago for Sunday lunch, we were shown to a table, given the menus and told someone would come and take our drinks order. We looked at the menu then sat and waited to be served but after about 20 minutes no-one had been to take our order so we walked out.

We enjoyed our meal which was tasty and hot, the lasagne was a good portion size and the homemade mushroom soup very good! The staff were professional but friendly and the restaurant was comfortable and welcoming. Thank you!

We visit Skegness every year and we always eat here, the food is of a great quality, plenty of choice and well priced!!

We love the food here it really doesn’t feel like you are above the amusements at all. Lots of good selection. 8 of is in total and we all cleared our plates not one fault with our food or the service. The fajitas are amazing thank you

Top floor of Lucky Strike amusement arcade with great views, we accessed it via a large lift for our large wheelchair. Eaten here many times and never had a bad experience. The staff are always very friendly and extremely helpful. We required a table which would be suitable for a large wheelchair - not a problem, it was brilliant. The food always served piping hot and presented very nice and very tasty. Excellent service.

Found on the top floor of the amusement arcade, a bright and airy, and thankfully air conditioned restaurant. We only needed a snack so ordered a sharing platter plus chips and drinks. The food was hot and tasty. Waiting for the bill was tedious but would recommend

We always come here when we come on holiday, we've been a few times now and its still great. Get a seat near the windows so you can take in all the views. There's plenty on the menu and they also have a specials board too. We have never had any problems and we will be returning!!

Went here for an evening meal whilst staying in Skegness. The service was very good, the restaurant looked very clean and food was served quickly and was of a very good quality. The total price was very reasonable, so I would have no hesitation in returning the next time we are in the area.

When myself & family visit Skegness, we always find the time to visit this restaurant. I would recommend visiting if you are a family with young children, as there is a play area on the same floor.

Do not bother going to restaurant and better taking money for snacks in the cafe instead and even for a drink of milk cost £1.25

I came here with my best mate on our last day of our holiday as we hadn't tried it but read good reviews. Its nice to see a place do 3 separate menus one for little kids one for older kids and an adults one. Due to only being able to eat smallish meals I was pleased to know even thou im 23 I could have a kids meal :D my friend also decided to have one. We both had a jacket potato mine being cheese hers being tuna. After a mix up of her ending up with cheese as well as tuna (she has a dairy allergy which we did mention) the staff swapped hers and came back with a fresh one with just tuna. For being a kids meal it was very filling and a good price. Defo going to come back again.

Visited here for dinner. The staff were great and accommodating as we had my brother who has learning difficulties. Nothing was too much trouble from where we wanted to sit to his food choice. Reasonable prices too.

We were recommended this restaurant by a guest house when we stayed for the weekend, we would have never found it otherwise what a great place to eat, we have eaten there several times now nearly trying all on the menu, very tasty, plenty of it and very reasonably priced we only live an hour away and actually travel there just to eat. The deserts are good to my husband is partial to the rum and raisin ice cream and my friend the bakewell. Give it a look you will not be disappointed

This in my opinion is the best place to eat in Skegness. Great choice, great atmosphere, great view and great service!!

We came back to Waterfront after a great experience last year, and it didn't disappoint. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we didn't wait long for service or for the food. I had steak and ale pie which was excellent and my partner had the hunter's chicken, which she said was very nice. The kids went for pizzas, all of which they finished.

I had the piggy burger and it was absolutely amazing pulled pork, sausage, bacon and gammon all things piggy. Salad and cheese.would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone

Went with my family had a wonderful day out been to the kids area where staff was wonderful but what a let down the meal was. The food was so dry not presentable. I had cajun chicken which had no taste and another in our group had salmon which was dry no flavor and veg half cooked. Disappointed as was an expensive meal.

Although you have to walk through all the gaming machines and up the stairs past the small children's area it was well worth it. For a start the views are fantastic over the sea and surrounding area. Service was brilliant, waitress very polite and pointed out the 2 for 1 deals. The meals were excellent, especially the gammon, very tasty. Nice and relaxed. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Skegness.

If you fancy a different experience of dining then this is the place for you, plenty of choice from burgers to steaks to good old Sunday dinners(before 4pm on Sundays only) has a good atmosphere and a bar and also plenty of drinks for children, last orders for food is 9pm all days. The food is of very good quality and good portion sizes, the price can b e a little too steep for people on a tight budget but it is worth that little bit extra for the food and class of service.

First and last time we will be going to this place, the food was poor, the sweet potatoes are so poor never had anything like them in my life. The food is way over priced and the waitress didn't know what sort of beer they had and had a shocking attitude.

I love this place! Visited with my mum and daughter (aged 8) brilliant value for money and also very very nice food. This place have some very good deals on food, I mean kids eat free everyday at 4pm... brilliant!! Thank you so much to all the staff (sorry didn't get names) that was on Tuesday 30th, and Wednesday 31st. Brilliant service by all.. can't wait to come back in August and to visit again.

We always eat here when we stay in Skegness, the meals are great and the service is always good!! The meals are a good size and there is always a good choice and the deserts are AMAZING!!!

Having tried the café downstairs (don't!), we thought we'd give the Waterfront a chance. Very pleasantly surprised! Well cooked food, clean restaurant and courteous service. Happy to recommend.

Went there for a end of holiday family meal. I never complain or Write reviews however I was so shocked and disappointed in the whole meal and experience I had to. Long wait for food some of the worst food we have ever had. there was 7 of us in total 2 children 5 adults l. I could have understood if it was busy but it was really quiet. Non of us ended up eating our food as it was that bad. Would never eat there ever again staff are so rude and do not want to help. We ended up paying over £110 In total for the food. What a rip off. When we finally got to talk to the manager she said well there's nothing I can do to be honest it was like they where not bothered and did not care as we where tourists . So we ended up paying bill in full and leaving.

You have to walk through a amusement arcade and go up to the top of the building . It was a clean place with very polite staff, lovely views over the sea.

The meal was one of the better meals that I have had in Skegness it was at least edible .

Recommend to us following a long drive with young children. Clean and staff pleasant. Nothing exciting on the menu, standard 'pub grub'. Wine glasses had to be exchanged as dirty. Half my meal was hot the other half luke warm which made me think it had been microwaved.

Don't fear the bad reports, we went today and had a delicious meal. Glass of wine, chicken fajitas, followed by cherry Bakewell tart and custard. Hot, tasty, quickly served. Very pleasant staff. Beautiful views across to Hunstanton.

Biggest waste of money, sausages where not cooked chilli was luke warm at best children cheese pasta was awful and ended up being sick all night. Staff rudely grabbed my buggy and said i will place "it" over their even though my baby was sleeping in it. The watress was rude and the still trying to move the buggy woke up my baby. No high chair was offered!!!! When complained to bar staff as we never ate the meal he just shrugged it off as if there was not problem; was not impressed he was too busy trying to chat up the rude watress.... left after paying full bill for a meal that was had like 2 mouthfulls taken out sausages and mash and childrens meal had a few mouthfulls.

We stopped in here on the off chance after having a ride to the coast during February half term. Not expecting anything to be open we were surprised to find the ones who were, were happily serving a full menu (previous experience had shown that places would open but would serve a smaller menu during off season)

I recall when this place first opened and it was a real gem. Seems it's gotten too successful and has therefore become complacent. I cannot believe how much the prices have gone up and the portions have shrunk. I had a chicken sandwich which came with a few crisps and a tiny pot of coleslaw on the side which cost almost £7. I could have gotten a full meal elsewhere for that. My partner had a pizza which was doughy and raw, needed longer in the oven - weird really considering how long it took the orders to come to the table - we were waiting ages. I was also made to feel like I was being a pain because I didn't want to be sat near a big noisy family with children when there were plenty of other free tables. The look on the waitresses face said it all. I won't be going back because I personally think the place is a rip off and I can't believe it does as well as it does.There are plenty of better and cheaper places to eat in Skeg.

Had a rare weekend away so came here for a meal instead of the usual fish & chips - wished we'ed saved our money. Went for the overpriced steak weigh a side of spare ribs. After waiting over half hour and seeing three other tables get served who had come after us. I went to see what the hold up was, apparently my husbands steak was overlooked so the chef had started again, for this we were given two glasses of coke - we were drinking J20 & Budweiser but a quick look at the menu showed coke was cheaper to fob us off with. After another 10 minutes our food was served. First thing we noticed was the ribs had so much sauce on that the taste overtook everything else. My steak lasted me ages but that was purely down to it being tough and chewey. The best thing on the plate was easily the mushrooms. When we told a member of staff we had not enjoyed our food, we were told that the sauce was the same ready made sauce they had bought in since they opened (what chef cannot make a BBQ sauce????) and they had never had no complaints. Basically shut up and jog on.

We came in and we're seated by a young waiter, who I got the impression that he would rather be doing anything but serving food tonight and waiting on us. When the food arrived it was really tasty and filling. Unfortunately by the time we received the food we had been surrounded by one hyperactive, hysterical child and another family which I can only describe as being fodder for Jeremy Kyle. When we had finished our food our waiter was no where to be seen, he just disappeared off the face of the earth, a second waitress noticed we were waiting and came over and we ordered desserts, which were very good. So I guess what I'm saying is the food was good but the hit and miss service and the surrounding drama took away the edge of what could have been an enjoyable meal. Would I eat here again, yes, probably, but I would seek out a better seating area. Word to the wise!

Have been to kids world more times than I care to admit, but have never eaten here before tonight. There were some issues with the timing of our food, but the reasons for delays were explained to us. Regardless of this, I am so very grateful to the lady who served us & her complete understanding of my sons additional needs & what we needed to get through that meal (yes additional needs parents, it was one of those days!) Her consideration & kindness helped make our time there that bit more bearable.

Go this place every time we go Skegness, great menu with special offers in the week which works out very cheap meal deals .

What a beautiful view. You can just sit and watch the world go by. Love for a business meeting or a coffee with friends or family. Food was standard. Would come for view not food.

Came here on a Sunday night was so quite the children eat free and our dinner was amazing I had Cajun chicken my husband had a burger , was the best food we have had in Skegness everything was perfect, only thing I could say that let it down a tiny bit was the service sat without a drink for ages had no knife fork the staff need to not be so laid back but other then that very friendly

We randomly found this place while we was in the arcade bit down stairs. Lovely staff & friendly. Food was ok but not the best. Still nice though. This was a late Friday afternoon so wasn't overly busy. Good views of the beach.... I would eat here again. ☺

The food is good and probably the best view you will get in Skegness. If I have a meeting, I tend to choose this place for lunch as the choice and view is exceptional and the service is quick too. Never really any trouble finding a seat and the tables have plenty of space in between so you are not on top of each other.

Great little midday eatery situated within Lucky strike amusements. I had the pork creme special which was nice, if anything, the cream sauce could have done with more flavour but still was very enjoyable, nude view from the restaurant too.

Always come here whenever we are in Skegness. Top notch food, good atmosphere and nice views over the seafront. If you venture through the hustle and bustle of the lower floor amusements you would be suprised to find a restuarant as nice as this. Good for families or adults, food is always well presented and delicious!

I took my girlfriend for meal here just for a quick lunch while we was out in town. We was greeted at the bar and was told to take a seat in which we did, baring in mind we had previously been here multiple times before hand and no problems. We wasn't directed to any seat that was just seated for two, this is where things went a bit downhill. We waited for 35 minutes for even a waiter to come and take our order, when a fellow waiter was passing by I grabbed her attention and asked if we could order our drinks. She sarcastically turned round and said we should order at the bar. 'Lizzie' being her name wasn't in our good books after this incident. We prolonged the afternoon when another waiter came back and took our order for both food and drink and didn't even apologise for the troubles we had. 50 minutes later we had food on our table and finally got able to eat. The food was nice, shame about the complete lack of service they should of provided for us. Finally finished our meal and went to pay the pill and then the women he waited us first then had the nerve to short change me. Overall it was terrible and will not be returning here again.

Got to say the best view in skegness ,but it stops there ,served sharer starter which was massive but all fried potatoes ,next ,raw pizza which I was told was like that because it had to much flour on it ,the menu says cooked by pizza chef ,joke ,nice ice cream to finish ,can't do alot to that ......avoid at all costs .

Whenever I go to good old Skeggy, I always, always pay a visit to this place. It has ever conceivable gaming machine, pool tables, play areas, a cafe and a top quality restaurant for evening meals with a view.

Pretty poor service today despite being before! Food was ordered and arrived later then other families who ordered afterwards. When our meals arrived we had to ask for the extras we had ordered. Asked for more water and this never came. Looked like staff were having there dinners and of more interest to the waitresses and being looked after much better then paying customers.

Nice comfortable restaurant that serves amazing food. Have eaten here a couple of times during our holiday. The service is excellent from very friendly staff. Definitely the best restaurant we have found in skegness. Excellent food and at reasonable prices. A must place to visit.

Cant say nothing bad about this place, great food, great service and wonderful views across the seafront. The staff were very friendly and attentive, we ordered burgers which were presented well, very tasty and of great quality. I've seen some reviews saying that its a bit pricey but if you value great quality food, you are getting exactly what you pay for. The Waterfront Restaurant is a great relief from the countless Fish and Chip shops, greasy spoon cafes and fast food outlets they have in Skegness, if you are looking for something different than your traditional seaside fare, visit these guys, you will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work guys.

Food is a really nice high standard but a little high priced. 2 burgers with 2 drinks came to £25!! Chicken n bacon baguette was really yummy. Recommended place for a nice meal.

This was our first visit to Waterfront. We usually spend an afternoon in Skegness as part of our Lincolnshire holiday each year and we never even realised that this place was above the arcades where we let them get rid of their small change!

Nice hot food, friendly staff. Kids eat free with every adult meal purchased. Reasonably priced. Quick service.

We followed trip advisor recommendations and for the first time wished we hadn't! This 'restaurant' is situated above an arcade and you have to walk past the children's play area to get to it - fine if you're a family wanting pub grub but not for a couple looking to have a nice dinner on an evening out. The menu was average, the food was average, but I have rated this venue as 'poor' because as we were on our way out I noticed the cafe downstairs serving a VERY similar menu for half the price! Oh, that and the fact that there was some very suspicious activity around the toilets, part of a deserted area filled with obselete/broken gaming machines but situated right next to the play area. Definitely won't be back.

Stayed in Skegness recently and decided to try out some of the places we had been recommended. The Waterfront did not disappoint. There is a good selection of dishes to select from at reasonable prices. The food we had was of a high standard and extremely tasty. We both had steaks, which were cooked to our liking. I had a jacket spud which is probably one of the tastiest I have had in a long time. This place is a great place to eat, be it as a couple, or as a family. The staff are friendly, smiley people who are very prompt and attentive. Keep up the great work guys.

Good choice of menu very good service. On the night there was seven of us. we all were served at the same time and the food was excellent. Staff could not do enough. Tables are bookable but the best tables are overlooking the prom. To get to the restaurant you have to walk thought the slot machine arcade and take the escalator to the 3rd floor. Do not let that put you off.

Ate here a few times during stay and enjoyed it every time, very reasonably priced, pizzas are fresh cooked and really nice, kids eat free aswell after 4pm but only off the kids menu which was good for my 5 year old son. Great choice of food, lovely views of the front, and again situated within lucky strike so close to arcades and ticket machines.

We really like this restaurant. We are visiting again in July. I had the hunters chicken and my husband had the ribs. Yum from us both! the staff are nice, the views are lovely, nice and clean place. We cant wait to come back again.

I cannot think of anything bad to say about this place. The food is lovely, the staff friendly and the view of the foreshore is fantastic. It is in just the right place for families who have spent the day in Kidsworld or on the beach. It is comfortable and clean and despite being aimed at families it isn't too 'kiddified' if you know what I mean. It would still be nice to visit as a couple or in a group. We kept the kids entertained with eye spy while waiting for food, but colouring sheets are given out as well. A lovely all round evening.

During our stay in Skegness we went here twice, once on Sunday for the Sunday lunch option and once during the week for an early dinner.

We reserved a table with a nice view. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the only thing they don't ask if your meal is OK after a few minutes. We had steaks and to be honest it was one of the best steaks we have had in Skegness. The chips were hot nice portions and the steak cooked perfect and taste was perfect (no gristle ). It was a little bit dear but well worth it, would definitely go back.

We're regulars at Waterfront because they get it right every time. The place is always clean, the service always excellent and the view across the foreshore is an added bonus. The menu is exteeeensive - you'll be spoilt for choice. It's worth taking a look at the specials board - they regularly have some interesting offers. All in all, it's hard to beat when you can't be bothered cooking. Oh, and it's the perfect place to eat before en evening at the theatre just across the road.

On a cold sunny spring day we visited Skegness for a breath of sea air ..it was delightful, traditional and clean as a whistle, but we needed a hot cuppa and snack to keep us going so ventured into the Waterfront Amusements, and up the stairs, just because it was so handy. We didn't expect much but were really impressed with the comfortable seating, the fabulous sea views, the choice of food , value for money, and most of all, the lovely friendly service we received. This is old fashioned seaside hospitality at its best, and we would heartily recommend it!

We love to come here every time we visit. We visited on Friday the 12th of Feb 2016. It was quite quiet so we got served really quickly and efficiently. Our food came and it was all delicious. My mother and Father in Law had the Friday fish and chips special (2 for £15) They both really loved it and was very surprised by the size of the meal. Very good size fish and portions good. Also you get a slice of bread and tea each. My husband and I have had it in the past and recommended it to them, They were not disappointed. I had the Hunters chicken, Lovely and my Husband had a vegetarian stacker burger off the specials menu. The restaurant got busier as we were leaving. We love this place!!

We went to the Waterfront again on New Years Day. We did not realise just how busy it was going to be. However the waiter found us a comfortable table. I have to say that it being so busy we did not expect the service to be so prompt, but the young lady took our orders almost as soon as we had chosen from the menu and when our food arrived it was just as prompt. 3 of us had the fish chips and peas and 1 had the chilli. All the food was very good, really hot and if you really wanted to complain (tongue in cheek)there was probably just a bit too much food, although I imagine many would love this. We hope to return again soon.

We called in here by chance, not knowing there was a restaurant above the amusement arcade. (I needed a wee). Spotted it, so said okay give it a go. My word were we surprised. The food is as good as you will get anywhere in this town. We have been 3 times now, & never disappointed. The roasts are lovely, as are the other meals we have tried. We have even booked there for Boxing Day.

We visited on Saturday evening after finishing late in the aquarium and finding most places were closed as it was out of holiday season. The staff were able to accomodate us as a large group very quickly. Service was efficient and friendly and the food was lovely with good size portions. The setting is misleading, being above the amusements, it was definitely not what we were expecting - it is a lovely setting and a pleasant place to eat. Very accomodating of children with a place centre close by to keep little ones occupied, at an additional cost.

Returned twice this year and the quality of the food and service was still second to none. I had a family meal for my birthday and they put balloons out on our table. My favourite place to eat in Skegness.

Myself and family eat here quite alot, i find the staff too be so pleasent and helpful. The food is to die for and have never had any complaints yet, we have 2 children aswell and they enjoy the food and the colours and paper to occupy them..i have 1 small issue which i wish i had spoken to the manager about last week, we came in for supper and there was hardly anyone in, so i have no idea why the waitress sat us smack bang at the side of a table with a couple obviously having a romantic night, the man of the couple spent all his time "tutting at my children( who by the way are not at all naughty and are very well behaved),he made no secret of the fact he wasnt happy we were so close and by close i mean we could have held hands!, i felt very uncomfortable and we hurried and missed dessert, i hear you asking why didnt i ask to be seated elsewere but i didnt want a scene or to cause problems infront of my kids. I dont know why the waitress sat us so close when there were 4 occupied tables the entire time we were there.! ( maybe they could think about this in future). Anyhow that said we will still be back as i consider this the best restuarant in Skegness xx

I had herd the Sunday dinner wasn't that good...however I was well impressed. For £12 the starter was good value. The main was good with plenty of meat and fresh vegetables all presented very nice. Little gravy boat and a pot of horseradish all on the side.however there puddings are out of this world with nice size portion .service was good too.

I booked a table for two in the evening as I had been told the food was good. I would never have gone at random as you go through the slot machines and up elevator to the second floor but getting there we were very pleasantly surprised to find a nice restaurant great views and lovely staff, we ordered from a good menu and had a lovely meal served very well. I will be returning the next time we are in Skegness.

Terrible, i have been a number of times as i live in skegness and go to kids world with my boys, but the last twice i have been it has been terrible food and terrible customer service.

my family have been going there since 2012 and we really enjoy the great meals they do at reasonable prices. staff are very friendly and go out their way to make it special. great view of the seafront.

My wife and dined out at the Waterfront after recommendation from the owners of the hotel The food we ordered came very quickly and was excellent. The atmosphere was very peaceful, just what you want for a quiet meal. The staff were genuinely concerned that the meal was OK, not like the lip service you get in lots of places. Finally the view.... looking out over the amusement park out to sea Splendid !!

I booked a table for my husband & I for the first time on Saturday, the waitress that greated us did her job very well she made us feel relaxed so we would enjoy are dining experience. We ordered a starter of Portobello mushrooms in a light breadcrumb coating. It was 1 mushroom not mushroomS, the coating was glouppy & thick, watery from being frozen with no taste. We complained to a number of staff but the chef's attitude was we buy them in so it's not down to them, POOR customer service, however the food the chef cooked was fantastic. I ordered fajitas & asked for a kick, I loved them, my husband had the chef's special of lamb, it was top class. If you order something the chef has cooked your in for a treat but if you order something that is brought in already done I would think again.

Predictably good food, a nice atmosphere and a lovely to have the seafront view. Makes for a nice visit with the arcade games on the first and second floor.
