Wassana's Thai Noodle Bar in Manchester

Visited multiple times and thoroughly enjoyed both the pad Thai and beef noodle soup. Very tasty authentic home cooked food, a hidden gem tucked away in wythenshawe town centre which I would recommend to anyone! Food and service both 5*.

We have missed our flight so stayed in the area for the next morning one. We stumbled upon this place and it just blew our mind. Owners were so friendly and created us a vegan meal that was the best Thai meal I have ever had! (I am very fussy). Not only the meal was generous, it was such a good value for money! All in all, definitely worth a visit if you are a vegan. I dream about this food! All the best for you guys. Anna and Ben xxx

Hands down the best Thai I've had around these parts. The food is so fragrant and service awesome and super friendly. I always know what I'm having on my next visit as they give me something else to taste. This is my second visit and the second time I'm giving 5 stars and it's totally deserved. Have the Tom Yum soup.... Omg

I was working in the area and wandered into the market looking for a healthy lunch. I was passing and was offered a taste of the food which was delicious. I requested a dish without carbs, I was served a huge portion of lovely fresh stir fried vegetables with chicken. You must try this place.

I’ve just discovered another Thai delight at Wassanas Thai noodle bar. Today I had pork patties with a dip made with diced cucumbers and red onion and chilli in a sweet pickle. The patties were spicy, succulent and with the dip made a perfect light lunch. Every time I visit this noodle bar I’m made to feel so welcome by Chef Wan and my memories of Thailand just flood back with her culinary delights. Chef told me she is from central Thailand. The food from this region is very appealing to the western appetite as it’s not the type of curry etc that is overly spicy/hot. On saying that chef will accommodate the spice/heat to your liking. If you’re looking for authentic Thai cuisine I’d definitely recommend you give it a visit. You won’t be disappointed, it’s a hidden gem and like having a trip back to Thailand if you’ve ever been. If you haven’t tried Thai food before. Chef Wan is always happy to guide you through what suits your palette. Thanks again to Chef and her staff for making me feel so welcome.

I love this place and visit most days. The food is superb and very authentic, the portions are incredibly reasonable in size. The staff are super friendly and you really feel looked after! Keep up excellent work guys :-)

I've just had a wonderful lunch visit to Wassanas in Wythenshaw market. This is the kind of place I love, its just like a little restaurant in Thailand were you find the very best local food. The chicken pad thai was very tasty and a portion enough to set me up for the rest of the day. The prices are very reasonable and the owners were an absolute pleasure to meet. I would highly recommend wassanas. I will certainly be back again!!

Wow. Just had another incredible lunch at Wassanas Thai noodle bar. Today I had salt n pepper chicken with stir fried vegetables and noodles. I think the attached pic says it all. Thank you chef Wan for another mouthwatering lunch.

I come here for lunch every time I work in wythenshawe. The food is always fresh and the owner is more than happy to make something different if you can’t see anything on the days specails

We've eaten at Wassana's stall at Wythenshawe Market on several occasions and she is always welcoming and coming up with recipe ideas to suit our vegan diets. Her food is always excellent and portions are decent too. Highly recommended!

I’ve eaten here before and usually have a takeaway but due to it being a rainy day I decided to eat in. Thai chicken soup followed by a very fragrant green Thai curry with jasmine rice and a small portion of salt n pepper ribs. It’s a hidden gem. It’s authentic and certainly value for money. Well worth a visit and the owner is very friendly and welcoming Would I recommend it? Most definitely. It’s just inside the indoor market. Thank you Wan for a lovely Thai lunch.

I’ve just had a fantastic eat in meal at Wassanas noodle bar at the indoor market in civic centre Wythenshawe. Restaurant quality food but very reasonably priced. Started with a Thai chicken soup which was a nice winter warmer. Then I had salt n pepper ribs (wow).main course I had red Thai curry served with boiled rice. I’ve got to say it’s one of the best Thai curries I’ve ever had and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I always give an honest review when using trip advisor so when I say you won’t be disappointed if you make the effort to go along and try it. You can eat in or have a takeaway and I was also informed that if I lived locally and rang up before 2pm that they would deliver food to my house. I will definitely be taking advantage of that service. So if you want a little taste of Thailand and some authentic Thai cuisine then make the effort to go along and give it a try.
