Wasabi Sushi & Bento in Camden

I took a 20-minute subway ride from my house to this place to get my food, I was already very hungry, but I got the message that my food had been cancelled just before I got to the front of the store, I was very angry about it

Everything was nice but the service from female employee behind the till was extremely underwhelming. I really hope it’s improved for better service.

Food and environmental aspects are happy for a fast food restaurant. However, the cashier's attitude is really bad, she can't say a word to Asians, she doesn't say hello or prompt to pay to me, the whole process seems like I'm using a self-service machine, I think it may be more economical 😊 if the store replaces the machine for the staff, please remember that the tag of this store is Asian Hate. The staff is a young woman with an Asian face.🤢

I had a sushi bento. It was really good, it came with wasabi and soy sauce and a pot to put them in.

Sushi is as you would expect… but whatever was left seemed to have been on the shelf for a while.. and was looking rather .. wilted 🥀. To top it off, Helen the cashier, was completely non-verbal. A very bizarre and rude interaction !

Staff were helpful and kind, store was clean and the food selection was great we were so full after - definitely recommend

May 2024. Lots of delicious things. Onigiri, Kimbap, Sushi, Mochi etc and hot food. You can also buy extra soy sauce or wasabi. You can eat there or take away. You can use card or cash. We never had to pay extra for the paper carrier bag. Q

Food is excellent had the katsu curry box and a drink for around £18 overall for two people. Amazing value and very nice. By contract had a plate of Thai at Camden Market which was £28 for two without a drink. Would definitely recommend.omited seating but managed to get seat

Wonderful surprise! I didn't expect much, but.... I was surprised by how delicious the food was! I loved it so much! I want more! Apart from my mother-in-law's Kare, this was the best of all. I highly recommend it. Fresh and very tasty food. Good service. And price!! Very cheap. And the best part is that you can always find one very close by. I will be back very soon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tonight i was having dinner at this branch and one of waitresses quite carelessly sprayed the surface cleaner to the table just next to me, there was not enough distance between us and the detergent also came to my food and clothes. I was still eating, wasn’t finished yet. And she was quite careless, not apologetic. I wasn’t offered anything to rectify the situation. I had to bin the food and left there. I’m quite disappointed with the service.

It used to be much better. Now the overall quality has degraded somewhat. The food no longer seems fresh. Even the stuff from the hot counter doesn’t feel hot enough. The sweet and sour chicken was all flour & no meat, and the fried noodle was lukewarm and soggy. What used to be one of the most reliable Asian takeaways couple of years ago, now I tried to avoid it at all cost. Please bring back the old quality.

modern Asian cuisine restaurant chain, with sushi bento and ramen. clean and bright place, with the possibility of sitting and eating inside. just choice of sushi, poke, ramen bento salad and hot dishes.

Fast-food Sushi!! Who would have thought it would be so good and reasonably priced? I picked up the salmon sashimi box and there were quite a few slices of fish, plus seaweed, and edamame included. Was fresh and a great value. The atmosphere was nice and very clean with comfortable seating. Give it a try!

Ordered sushi takeaway and vegetable gyoza. Compared to other basic high street sushi places this was really unpleasant. The gyoza was rubbery and I couldn't eat it, but the sushi rice was also sludgy, the fish smelled and even the small things were annoying - the soy sauce was hard to open and ended up spraying my trousers and the wasabi tasted really mild and snotty. Overall, yuck, never again.

I got a salmon poke bowl to go, the salmon had gone bad... So kind of ate around it, very disappointing 🫤

There are many halal options as well, you can ask them to choose your favorite menu!! It’s yummy ☺️

Bardzo dobre sushi jeśli chodzi o szybkie sushi bez orchidei kwiatków i dekoracji. Smaczne świeże sushi z lodówki sam wybierasz co zjesz jaki zestaw. Podchodzić do lodówki i wybierasz zestaw na który masz chęć pode idziesz do kasy i płacisz. Duży wybór napojów duży wybór pierożków są świeże smażone jakie masz ochotę w ladzie ciepłej duży wybór dań na gorąco sam decydujesz co zjesz. Bardzo miła obsłużą, wc na miejscu można skorzystać. Bardzo miłe i czyste miejsce bardzo nowoczesne urządzone z klimatem sushi naprawdę świeże i smaczne z zestawie jest wasabi i sos sojowy brak tylko młodego imbiru pałeczki są do dyspozycji. Polecam to sushi jadłem lepsze ale te daje radę jak na lodówkę :)

The sushi was disgusting and so was the katsu chicken noodles from the hot counter. The prawn soup was the only edible thing. They charge you extra per item to eat in and cant even give you a sachet of sauce. Would not return even if it was free. Don't waste your money on this fake sushi

Horrible Wasabi. As a brand it's got good food but this store was absolutely horrific. The tables and chairs weren't clean and the store wasn't busy so staff could've definitely cleaned up for customers. Picked up the Chicken Katsu Roll Set and regret it as I should've just stuck to a standard bento Katsu Curry. There was an excessive amount of sesame seed and the roll tasted like it had been made the day before and sat in the fridge until I bought it. Staff were unfriendly and looked tired or bothered to do their job, made me feel unwelcome and regret eating there even more. Do not recommend this Wasabi. If you want Sushi there are multiple other stores in Soho or just go to another Wasabi because this store was not it.

The staff are amazing here, friendly, polite and helpful. However the food not so much. Some of the chicken in my curry was just burnt to a crisp.

Wrong order! Ordered a hot firecracker bento box and all I was sent was a tiny box of chicken pieces. Ridiculous.

Horrible toilet. No idea how disabled people are supposed to was their hands, when you have continuously press the button to get the water?! That’s awful discrimination of disabled people. You need to use one hand for holding a button and then press again the dirty button…. Staff was nice, but by the end of the day almost no food left.

Great sushi and bento. It was fresh, delicious and flavourful and they give free soy sauce and wasabi while in other sushi places you have to pay for it. Would recommend if you love sushi.

Korean fire cracker chicken was very good nice heat to it, the chicken wings however were very dry and slightly overdone. The staff were very helpful and friendly service. The chairs were comfortable however the table needed a clean, there was food stains on the table from the previous customer. However it is a very busy outlet and I think they simply just don't have enough staff. Food is served on a tray if eaten in so the messy table wasn't the biggest of issues.

Food was nice but I was bit surprised by the Indian woman on the counter being surprised by the request of "one more tissue". Is that kinda big surprise like that? hard to understand.

My favourite is sweet chilli chicken Bento 🍱. The environment is ambient with lovely background 🎶. The staff were friendly and supportive 🫂. The place isn't too crowded and easily accessible. I recommend this restaurant for others to visit. Although the price is a little high.

I had a stomachache after eating sushi here

The portion size has become extremely small and the price has gone up. Completely unacceptable. If you raise the price keep the portion size the same. This is just greed.

Not complaining about the food, but the staff … unfriendly, like they don’t want you there, one of the girls there asked me if I needed a fork or chopsticks and I said no thanks and she looked at me as if I insulted her and just gave me the bag and said put this in yourself. Kinda disappointed

My wife got a food poisoning today after their Chicken Katsu Curry. Avoid at all costs

The usual quality of food from wasabi but the tables were so dirty. Clearly not cleaned very often through the day as dropped food was dried up and stuck to the table.

Yakisoba is not yakisoba taste. Terrible taste.

Conveniently placed close to Tottenham Court Road tube station and Oxford Street. Very tasty chicken katsu salad.
