Wasabi in City of London, Westminster

I have to say that I am a regular customer of this particular restaurant. Not anymore after my experience yesterday. Last night the employee who attended us charged us 20% more just to sit there and eat. Something unusual since I was eating there only two weeks ago, and I didn't pay any extra just to sit down. The clerk had a strange attitude, it took him a long time to select the order on the computer. It seemed like he was mentally counting and calculating that percentage. I complained, and although he apologized, saying that are the company's rules, he refused to let me see the receipt. If this is a new emoresa policy, it seems completely abusive and ridiculous to me. And if it was an act by the employee, I hope they take action and receive an explanation and feedback. Very dissatisfied

The man "cooking" was rude and had an attitude. I asked for some extract katsu sauce as the rice and chicken was very dry. He would not allow it! You would think I was asking for a free meal the way he spoke to me! Only this old comptons branch has refused. A small amount of sauce would have made me go back to this branch, won't step foot in there again!

Wasabi is a great spot to grab some Japanese food to go. The sushi is pretty well made for this kind of a grab-and-go affair, and the katsu curry is excellent (even if the katsu sauce could do with a little more spice in it). The only thing I've found with this outlet is that at lunchtime it gets absolutely raided, and if you're too late, you won't necessarily get what you want. Perhaps some more planning / stock planning is needed.

Regular visit to one of my favourite places for quick snack. Everything I tried there is well seasoned and yummy. Service always pleasent and smiley.

Stepped in here for a late lunch and didn't regret it. Food was fresh and very flavoursome. Good selection of sushi. Friendly and helpful service and a very clean environment. Decided on indulging in the tamago sushi and could not stop eating it (at least 8 pieces). Very reasonable prices and a relaxed atmosphere. Would happily go again!

Walking around the centre of London it's difficult to find somewhere good to eat without being forced to take a bank loan to pay for it (unless you want to go to McDonalds. Came here on the off-chance, bought an obento box (16 bits of Sushi) and the Chicken Gyoza soup and 2 drinks and it came to around £15. This filled both of us up and we enjoyed every bit. Sushi was fresh.

This chain offers varied types of sushi and soups. The food can run out during lunch and the best part is you can pick up a single piece or an entire roll of sushi based on your choice. I like the miso soup which is a great accompaniment on a cold day.

Food nice and good value, but they no longer dish up bento boxes when you order, they are already made up. Result = tepid lunch. Hot food should be hot. Might be a while before I visit again.
