Wasabi in City of London, Westminster

Great selection of warm and cold dishes, which were very well priced especially for London. Highly recommended! Especially prawn and salmon bites!

There is a bit of a stench from the drains outside. Premises is clean with minimal seating. Being the strand, you pay a premium. Sushi was fresh and flavoursome. Katsu was a little dry, like it had been on the hot plate for a while. Server polite and helpful, if but a little miserable.

It was my intent to eat here, as it was close to my hotel. As I was walking back I noticed a "half price sushi and salad" sign because they had to clear out for the next day. I got three sushi trays which was way more than my teenage son and I needed for a little more than a song. The taste and quality was good, excellent for take a way sushi at a bargain price. I would pay "full price" here as well, but the discount was sweet!

We were talking a stroll through London and needed something to eat that was not too heavy as we had a table booked for a restaurant later. As we passed through Covent Garden, we saw this on the corner and popped in. Edamame beans and a couple of Tom Yum soups hit the mark. Lots of choice and the food tasted amazing and fresh.

One of my favourite sushi places with lovely staff. I have tried most of the dishes and they are very tasty.

Al ingresar al restaurante, hay una estantería refrigerada a la izquierda con muchos tipos de sushi que pueden comprarse individualmente o empaquetarse en cajas de diferentes tamaños y composiciones. Tenía el juego de rollos de Yasai (rollos de sushi con verduras como el pepino y el aguacate (5.80 GBP). También las picaduras de chile (1.95 GBP). Debes pedir condimentos en el mostrador cuando pagues. muchas mesas en el restaurante, y algunas son solo de pie. Encontramos un mostrador de taburetes muy incómodo pero no había nada más disponible.

Saya hampir setiap hari membeli makan di wasabi karena selain dekat dengan hotel, restaurant tersebut menyediakan nasi putih dengan lauk pauknya seperti chicken katsu, tempura, sushi, dllAlhamdulillah saya sangat terbantu dengan adanya wasabi pada saat lapar.

I tried this restaurant twice, sampling their dumplings and their noodle soup and was happy both times. The only disadvantage of this place is its limited seating space.

Good Place for hot Japanese food. Smells bit odd though. Few dishes are typical and nothing special. Good for afternoon quick bite.

프레따와 함께 사람들이 또 엄청 많은 가게 중 하나다. 런던의 일식집이라는 점을 염두하면 무척 저렴하게 느껴진다. 테이크아웃이 가능하기 때문에 편리하고, 스시 외에도, 따듯한 치킨윙 등등도 있다. 인테리어 깔끔하게 되어 있고 빨리 먹고 갈 수 있게끔 자리도 혼자 먹는 사람들을 위하게 되어있어서 호감을 얻는 것 같다. 스시 종류도 다양하게 있어서, 골라 먹을 수도 있고 이미 담겨져 있는것을 고를 수도 있는데 자기가 원하는걸 10유로 내에 배 부르게 먹을 수 있다.

brilliant and great value - I often go here for a take away lunch. Exceptional value and good for a tak out. Also very healthy if you hold some of the soy!

fresh sushi on the run. Wasabi in the strand had a great selection of sushi and nigiris. The boxes are very well performed and easy to digest. The price is great. 4 nigiris and 4 sushis for 3 pounds. Recommended

Yo tenía bento katsu curry de pollo con arroz y era tan bueno, tuve que ir otra vez dos días más tarde. Hay sólo tres sentarse lugares pero tuvimos la suerte de vino aquí en el momento oportuno y no tener que esperar o a tomar nuestra comida.El personal era amable y el precio muy razonable.

Wasabiという名前からしても想像できると思いますが、日本料理のお店です。日本で買うようなお弁当や海苔巻を買うことができましたが、正直言って味はやはり日本の方が断然おいしいです。イギリスで売っている日本料理は本当に日本料理の味なのか気になった行きましたが、普通にイギリスの料理を食べたほうが良かったのではないかと後悔しています。

Was staying at the Strand Palace hotel nearby and hopped over to Wasabi several times when I was in the mood for a quick meal without the fuss of going to a restaurant. The ready-made Sushi is obviously not on the level of what you would get when you order at a serious Japanese restaurant, but still a very good value for its' price. Beware of the spicy chicken & noodles, the sauce was extremely spicy indeed! I personally couldn't handle it and had to throw it away after a couple of bites, but it was my own fault for picking up something with a 2 pepper symbol on it.

O atendimento é rápido, a comida não é muito cara e dá para se comer muito bem. Existem restaurantes em todos os lugares, o que facilita muito o acesso.

Совсем не наелась, хотя и мисо-супчик взяла и какие-то слойки с креветками, и суши и чай, но безвкусное какое-то в сети этих кафешек всё, а цены отнюдь не дешёвые! Сходите лучше в любой китайский ресторанчик в Чайна-Тайне на Пикадилли, там в 3 раза сытнее и дешевле покушаете!

Great price for the Spicy Chicken and a nice asian meal but quality-wise it could be better. Sushi should not be tried there, there are much better places that sell for cheaper!

Great sushi at a great price! Love it! I went in London for holidays and I tried this place. I took an onigiri, a temaki and a sushi bento and it was good. Obviously, nothing in comparison with sushi you can find in a japanese restaurant, but it was great thinking about the location and the price. I ate there twice: the first time I took away some food for the late evening and the rice was a little bit hard...But the second time it was at luch and it was perfect!

I tried this place out for quick bite as it looks very fresh with neat decor and seen many branches around town....but I got fooled by the look...rice for sushi was hard as it was done way in advance and should not have placed in fridges,which draws away the moisture.They all look colourful but don't taste as good as it looks.I would suggest Taro in Soho(both branches) does fresh and quality sushi and sashimi by authentic Japanese chefs.And reasonably priced.
