A Warhammer 40k fan for 15 years now, I took advantage of my visit to England to take a detour to this place to finally see in person these dioramas and figurines that have always made me dream of. The exhibition tour costs around 10 euros (as the price is in pounds) there are family offers and it is cheaper for children. There are a lot of figurines that we see on the publications of the official Warhammer website, and a lot of breathtaking dioramas. I spent more than an hour walking around speechless by these assemblages which, due to their grandeur and attention to detail, are true works of art. The shop is large and also has pretty windows where you can find all the boxes found on their site including the Forge World models. The prices are the same as in France so there is no particular interest compared to ordering on the internet except for a few exclusive items. In particular souvenir pieces or the HQ command tank box, which contains a land raider and a rhino with extra bits. If you collect Space Marines I recommend this box for 88 pounds hoping that the two tanks don't become legendary too quickly. I am providing you with photos of some dioramas, including my favorites, to make your mouth water, but the photos do not convey a 10th of the beauty of the works and I invite you to come and see them in real life if you can.

This place is fantastic for a visit, the displays are amazing to see and the pub part is well themed and a pleasant experience with good food available. One of the great things about this hobby is that even if you don't have much knowledge of it, there are always people happy to speak to you about it. This is definitely worth a visit, and a good day out, the only drawback I found was that there wasn't enough parking spots, but other than that, highly recommended.

Awesome place to come for fans of all Games Workshop games and products! Always friendly staff. The museum is fantastic and crammed with amazing models and dioramas well worth the price of entry for fans. The gaming hall is full of great tables (sadly many of the large themed tables are gone, replaced with neoprene mats, but some of the themed ones remain). Bugman's is a very convenient place to fill up with food and drink between games, and of course there's the fully stocked shops!

Been playing Warhammer since 1987 and finally visited the home of it all. A very memorable and emotional visit as this hobbly has always been there through good times and bad over the last 37 years. Also got to see models that were painted iwhen I was just starting out. The hobby has grown so much from when I started but I was still made to feel welcome and had some good chats with the staff there. Also got to share all this with my young son who is also a fan. A really great day out and great value for money.

Visited with my partner on the weekend before New Year's. Access to the exhibition halls was discounted for the holiday season, which was a great surprise. Very impressive dioramas and thousands of models on display! The staff were excellent - very welcoming, engaging and knowledgeable. My partner ended up spending around 2.5 hours painting a model, receiving really useful painting tips with access to a wide range of paints. She had a really positive experience, and there were all ages and genders there learning and sharing tips. I wandered the store, talking to enthusiastic staff members about Necromunda without feeling like I was pressured to buy there and then, and had a snack at Bugman's. The restaurant had a good range of food on offer at fine prices. The game boards in the main hall were busy with players when we arrived mid-afternoon - more so than I expected for the time off year! Good vibes all around!

Before going with 4 boys, driving 2 hours to get there, I was worried that we would be in and out in half an hour. Upon arriving I was surprised at the queue forming before opening time, of which we were first 👍 however when we got in there, it truly is a monument to Warhammer. The model exhibits are outstanding even for a non Warhammer-rer like myself. They spent time in the exhibition centre marvelling at the amazing scale and detail of the models. I got myself a sneaky mocha in bugmans bar, they got their mini of the month and built them at the modelling table, they played a game with one of the Warhammer sales guys. All in all we were just over 2 hours and the boys, being big Warhammer fans, were very happy. Just the 2 hours driving back home again now..via KFC 😁 Next time definitely going to book a gaming table.

As a lifelong Warhammer fan I went to Nottingham exclusively to see Warhammer world and I have to say I was a little disappointed. I expected more dioramas, more miniatures (the primarchs of horus heresy unpainted), more books from the black library and something else that impressed me. In the end it feels like just another GW store. The bar was closed and you generally see everything in one or two hours. Second time coming to Warhammer world. Unfortunately left disappointed. Intended to come, buy, and paint a miniature as a special occasion for the multi hour drive. The website boasts about a dedicated painting area. This consisted of a table with no more than eight or ten people sat around it, to which we sat down to get our minis painted and were told to leave the area after barely 30 minutes because it was for new people only. I was with my little brother, who is still new to Warhammer, but he'd already bought into it with various models. Another case of Games Workshop wanting you to come in, whizz round, buy your overpriced plastic and leave. No thought for those of us who have already invested thousands. Website made no mention the painting area was for only first timers. Exhibition was good. Warhammer world needs a REAL painting/hobbying area. Be a long time before I bother going again if ever.

As first time visitors and new to the hobby we were amazed at what we saw! What a great experience with some really helpful and enthusiastic staff. Special mention to Charlie on the paint section who was incredibly helpful and informative to me and my son, taking us through our first experience of painting a model and giving us the confidence to paint our new purchases to a very acceptable level. I’m sure we will be back soon!

This is such a good experience. Was less than a £10 each and the figures and scenes scapes were mental, the amount of skill and details blows my mind. I'm not an avid fan but this was such a good experience and for the fan you could see the excitement on their face. We went after 3pm and the exhibition hall was pretty quiet so you could take your time and really enjoy it.

Probably one of the most amazing displays of art in the world. You can easily spend a day here. Humans are capable of such amazing things. It’s nice if you know a little bit about some things but even if you’re not a fan there is so much to see and do. A hidden gem of a place giving so many people joy in so many ways. Marvellous! Oh and the staff so welcoming and helpful! No words just amazing!

Visited today for my birthday and wasn’t disappointed. Staff were amazing and as per usual went above and beyond for any request or question. Was able to stop any one and as long as they weren’t busy, enjoy a great conversation. Enjoyed a short lunch in Bugmans again. Food was great, large portions, served hot and with haste. General tidiness of the whole place is always beyond reproach. But today a young member of the shop staff called “Pete” takes first prize for his general calm, polite and professional demeanour. Pete also held onto an order I placed whilst travelling up to Nottingham from London. Wishing me a safe journey over the phone and meeting me with a smile one I had arrived. Thanks Pete, it’s people like you that make sure I’ll always come back, telling anyone who’ll listen that Warhammer worlds staff are as enthusiastic about the hobby in general as they are about how today’s experience has been for you

Based on reviews I thought I try this place out, the sushi 🍣 was yummy 😋 but unfortunately the rice they used has let it down 👎🏼 badly ❌ … if the rice wasn’t so “ rock hard” the sushi 🍱 here would be very good! Definitely needs amending or changing

I finished my food in 30 seconds and got straight onto my laptop to review it, the food was that good. The couple that own Happy House were so friendly and lovely and their food is amazing. Won't be going anywhere else in Nottingham after trying here. Best Chinese in Nottingham by far!
