As a group we made the wargaming pilgrimage to Warhammer World. It was such a good day, the exhibition is amazing and took us two hours to browse through. Free parking and not to busy. Only downside, kitchen was closed in Bugman's and only food was outside at a food truck, limited menu.

Although I am not really a Warhammer fan, I went with my husband for his birthday. I did really appreciate how much work had gone into painting the models and making the dioramas. The level of detail on the models was amazing. For example, the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit models all resembled the actors from the films. Bilbo Baggins was very much a tiny Martin Freeman. I think that any Warhammer fan will really have a great trip out here.

This isn't a place that only Warhammer fans will enjoy. The Exhibition Centre is an amazing showcase of dioramas, as well as the history of GW and White Dwarf. It's worth the price of admission, and you can spend hours appreciating the art. Bugman's Bar has great food at reasonable prices, with some Black Library books available to read while you wait. With only an £8 entry fee to see all the incredible dioramas, you can easily get lost for 2-3 hours checking out the best of the best, taking part in a ‘find the assassin’ game, and visiting the shop to make the most of the inspiration you’ll definitely feel after seeing your favourite heroes painted in all their glory. I am not objective. My neck became like the sleeve of a Roc Naige when I saw the hammer logo on the facade. It's very cool. The museum has giant dioramas, perhaps, somewhat soulless at times, with all the minis painted in a chain, but if you pay attention, you manage to discover small stories within the huge scene. Little oldhammer preservation, but good. And Buggmans has much better food than I imagined, and at a good price

The diorama's were incredible, they showcase just how epic the battles are that take place across Old World, AOS, 40K, and Middle Earth. Very nice, a must have for any Warhammer fan. For free you can get in the largest warhammer store in the world, with the entire model range including forge world, and for pretty cheap you access the exhibition, I’m not an aos player but their dioramas looked good, and the 40K ones are amazing, there’s so many hidden details. There’s also a massive display with titans that you can stare at for hours. If you find a specific model in that diorama you can keep it, but due to the lighting it can be pretty hard to find, and I don’t know anyone who has found it. There’s also a restaurant with nice food

Fantastic place to visit if you or your kids love Warhammer. Great staff and a nice atmosphere. The displays in the exhibition are brilliant and well worth the admission fee. Good selection of plastic to take home, but it is at full GW retail prices, so dony expect any bargains (albeit with a couple of exclusive units to WHW that may be worth picking up). You can learn how to play some of the shorter game modes such as Bloodbowl, Killteam, and Combat Patrol with staff happy to initiate you. Love visiting! We’ve been many times, staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. Enjoying for the entire family. UPDATE: We have children with disabilities which enable us to visit the exhibition free of charge. At the entrance we are usually given a ticket just for proof although we have never been asked to show them over our many previous visits. However yesterday when we visited we were told we didn’t need a ticket and to just visit as it’s free for us anyway. We entered the exhibition (no one asked for proof of a ticket). Halfway through the children noticed an activity to do which stated to pick up a pen from the event hall and return to the exhibition. There was only one pen available and they were told to share between the three of them (no issue but expected a pen each as other places usually provide). When returning to the exhibition we were stopped by the staff at the desk and asked for our tickets. I began to explain I did ask downstairs as it’s free for us and he simply didn’t want to hear it and decided to mansplain that the shop is free using huge gestures then pointing at the exhibition and saying that’s not free. So I repeated myself again and he decided to repeat himself. I then had to be extremely specific why it was free for us in front of the children and he said “oh, that makes sense. Go ahead” -no apology. The store has a paint your own miniature area. The children are usually greeted with kindness and ask for miniature of the month. My youngest is new to it all and asked to do both figurines (which not only my older two were allowed to do on every visit previously but also many other customers). After my daughter completed her 40k figurine she picked up the other. The man said only one (either 40k or age of sigmar) and to put it back otherwise it’s not fair on others when they run out. Which would make sense if this was always the case but it has never been and this place can get busy! Just for perspective of how unjust this felt, he was painting one just to pass time and told us this himself moments before. (Maybe that’s not the best idea if there was such a shortage all of a sudden). The staff are no longer what they used to be and it’s put a huge downer on my youngest experience here. She won’t be returning and neither will I.

Made the 3 hour drive over from Wales to visit Warhammer World with my daughter today after seeing it on social media and it was well worth the visit - we both loved it. It has a massive selection in the store, a library with loads of books to buy, an exhibition (for a small fee) showing loads of really impressive models and diorama's, a pub style restaurant and loads of space to do painting and play games in the main area. If you enjoy Warhammer, you'll likely enjoy paying it a visit. The decor is engrossing, the staff couldn't be nicer and more interested in you - they all expressed genuine interest in what we were there for, what we enjoyed and then helped and supported us with our modeling throughout the day. The store is well stocked with pretty much everything you could need from supplies to models and when doing a painting session we were provided with things that we were missing to allow us to get the most from the day. We phoned on the Saturday and booked a table to do some painting for the following day. The lady I spoke to was very cheerful and helpful. They opened at 10 so we set off early and got ther for half past. The table was ours for the day and we stayed until about 3pm. None of this cost us anything. We did buy drinks from the bar to have whilst there, but they weren't overpriced and it was the least we could do given how good everything was. We drank and ate in the restaurant and it was great. The selection was reasonable and in theme and there were enough options to satisfy me and my daughter. She loved her chicken and waffles and I enjoyed the chicken wings. It was really reasonably priced as well. We both ate and drank for less than £30 - I expected the food to be expensive ... it wasn't and we were full afterwards. Having travelled quite a way, we wanted to do as much as we could so also paid to visit the exhibition. I was expecting to be a little underwhelmed but was very pleasantly surprised. We took just under an hour to get around it. The models spanning all genre's were really impressive. We could have stayed longer but ran out of time on this occasion. When we return we will almost certainly pay to go around it again and I won't feel like we've spent too much in doing so. There was a kill team tournament on when we visited so the atmosphere was great and we got to see some great models being used by some enthusiastic gamers. It all added to the experience. There is a car charging station in the carpark for two cars. It was a podpoint one but I couldn't find it on the app so ended up popping to the town afterwards to use a Tesla charger to get home. If the charger was working in the carpark that would have made the day perfect - it didn't dampen it but did add an hour onto our return journey. All in all well worth a visit. We loved it and will certainly be heading back in the future 👍

Displays were amazing and staff were very friendly and the greatest thing they open late which worked out well as arrived late after a 4 hour drive. Reason for my rating as the visit was for a friend who is a war hammer enthusiast is we both thought it would be much bigger. The display section only took an hour and a bit and there was only a small section of a cabinet explaining War hammers history. It would been great to bigger displays of Warhammer’s history - like a timeline with showing the first pieces and how they evolved. Plus the merchandise wasn’t that much as there were mo shirt or hoodies to purchase. My friend also thought there would be large oversized exhibits like outside throughout exhibition. Overall it was okay but not really worth the 4 hour drive.

A Warhammer 40k fan for 15 years now, I took advantage of my visit to England to take a detour to this place to finally see in person these dioramas and figurines that have always made me dream of. The exhibition tour costs around 10 euros (as the price is in pounds) there are family offers and it is cheaper for children. There are a lot of figurines that we see on the publications of the official Warhammer website, and a lot of breathtaking dioramas. I spent more than an hour walking around speechless by these assemblages which, due to their grandeur and attention to detail, are true works of art. The shop is large and also has pretty windows where you can find all the boxes found on their site including the Forge World models. The prices are the same as in France so there is no particular interest compared to ordering on the internet except for a few exclusive items. In particular souvenir pieces or the HQ command tank box, which contains a land raider and a rhino with extra bits. If you collect Space Marines I recommend this box for 88 pounds hoping that the two tanks don't become legendary too quickly. I am providing you with photos of some dioramas, including my favorites, to make your mouth water, but the photos do not convey a 10th of the beauty of the works and I invite you to come and see them in real life if you can.

Awesome place to come for fans of all Games Workshop games and products! Always friendly staff. The museum is fantastic and crammed with amazing models and dioramas well worth the price of entry for fans. The gaming hall is full of great tables (sadly many of the large themed tables are gone, replaced with neoprene mats, but some of the themed ones remain). Bugman's is a very convenient place to fill up with food and drink between games, and of course there's the fully stocked shops!

Visited with my partner on the weekend before New Year's. Access to the exhibition halls was discounted for the holiday season, which was a great surprise. Very impressive dioramas and thousands of models on display! The staff were excellent - very welcoming, engaging and knowledgeable. My partner ended up spending around 2.5 hours painting a model, receiving really useful painting tips with access to a wide range of paints. She had a really positive experience, and there were all ages and genders there learning and sharing tips. I wandered the store, talking to enthusiastic staff members about Necromunda without feeling like I was pressured to buy there and then, and had a snack at Bugman's. The restaurant had a good range of food on offer at fine prices. The game boards in the main hall were busy with players when we arrived mid-afternoon - more so than I expected for the time off year! Good vibes all around!

Been playing Warhammer since 1987 and finally visited the home of it all. A very memorable and emotional visit as this hobbly has always been there through good times and bad over the last 37 years. Also got to see models that were painted iwhen I was just starting out. The hobby has grown so much from when I started but I was still made to feel welcome and had some good chats with the staff there. Also got to share all this with my young son who is also a fan. A really great day out and great value for money.

The shop is fine, the minis are expensive. The price for the candles they sell is extortionate. There was of course plenty of sweating. I enjoyed the interaction with the staff. These new young whippersnappers don't take the Warhammer men too seriously and that's a nice change. Let's celebrate war!

A absolute must if you are a fan of the hobby. Brilliant gaming tables, amazing value on the museum and exhibition. Cool store exclusives as well. Only gripe would be that Bugmans is VERY expensive. Only bought a burger, sandwich and tacos, somehow came to £44

Had a great day at Warhammer World. Entrance is free and there is loads of stuff to see and take photos of. We even got to sit down and paint our first miniature, then take it home in a box

Don’t bother. Called them up asked them to hold a book for me as it’s a long drive. They said they would got there to find that they had sold my copy to someone else. So all in all a wasted 2 hours of driving and petrel. Don’t bother with there terrible staff.

Always love making a trip to Warhammer World when I can. Great for the hobby and the gaming hall is always lively. But for the ultimate experience you have to visit the hall of miniatures, what a sight to behold. My only negative is that I feel there should always be more unique gifts available that you can't get anywhere else to add that extra shine to your pilgrimage. This could be an out of stock issue though.

Maravilloso almuerzo, realmente auténtico y fresco y a un precio razonable. Los rollos de primavera fueron increíbles, pho mejor que algunos que hemos tenido en Vietnam!

I finished my food in 30 seconds and got straight onto my laptop to review it, the food was that good. The couple that own Happy House were so friendly and lovely and their food is amazing. Won't be going anywhere else in Nottingham after trying here. Best Chinese in Nottingham by far!
