We visited Warhammer World to celebrate a family birthday, and it was a fantastic experience, especially for the Warhammer fan among us. The exhibition is absolutely incredible, showcasing detailed models and immersive displays that even non-gamers can appreciate. The staff were knowledgeable and really friendly, always ready to chat and share insights about Warhammer. The bar/café is a lovely spot to relax and to chill after touring the exhibition. Whether you're a hardcore fan or just looking for a unique day out, Warhammer World comes highly recommended!

Second time coming to Warhammer world. Unfortunately left disappointed. Intended to come, buy, and paint a miniature as a special occasion for the multi hour drive. The website boasts about a dedicated painting area. This consisted of a table with no more than eight or ten people sat around it, to which we sat down to get our minis painted and were told to leave the area after barely 30 minutes because it was for new people only. I was with my little brother, who is still new to Warhammer, but he'd already bought into it with various models. Another case of Games Workshop wanting you to come in, whizz round, buy your overpriced plastic and leave. No thought for those of us who have already invested thousands. Website made no mention the painting area was for only first timers. Exhibition was good. Warhammer world needs a REAL painting/hobbying area. Be a long time before I bother going again if ever.

As first time visitors and new to the hobby we were amazed at what we saw! What a great experience with some really helpful and enthusiastic staff. Special mention to Charlie on the paint section who was incredibly helpful and informative to me and my son, taking us through our first experience of painting a model and giving us the confidence to paint our new purchases to a very acceptable level. I’m sure we will be back soon!

This is such a good experience. Was less than a £10 each and the figures and scenes scapes were mental, the amount of skill and details blows my mind. I'm not an avid fan but this was such a good experience and for the fan you could see the excitement on their face. We went after 3pm and the exhibition hall was pretty quiet so you could take your time and really enjoy it.

Probably one of the most amazing displays of art in the world. You can easily spend a day here. Humans are capable of such amazing things. It’s nice if you know a little bit about some things but even if you’re not a fan there is so much to see and do. A hidden gem of a place giving so many people joy in so many ways. Marvellous! Oh and the staff so welcoming and helpful! No words just amazing!

Visited today for my birthday and wasn’t disappointed. Staff were amazing and as per usual went above and beyond for any request or question. Was able to stop any one and as long as they weren’t busy, enjoy a great conversation. Enjoyed a short lunch in Bugmans again. Food was great, large portions, served hot and with haste. General tidiness of the whole place is always beyond reproach. But today a young member of the shop staff called “Pete” takes first prize for his general calm, polite and professional demeanour. Pete also held onto an order I placed whilst travelling up to Nottingham from London. Wishing me a safe journey over the phone and meeting me with a smile one I had arrived. Thanks Pete, it’s people like you that make sure I’ll always come back, telling anyone who’ll listen that Warhammer worlds staff are as enthusiastic about the hobby in general as they are about how today’s experience has been for you

Warhammer World is the whole reason I took a three hour train ride down to a city I'd never seen before. It's a great place if you're a hobbyist, or even just want something to do while in Nottingham. It's a great atmosphere with friendly faces and exceptional staff. Didn't get to try Bugman's unfortunately as the entrance was unclear (I am quite stupid though). The museum is a great little walkthrough experience. I could spend hours staring through the dioramas and finding a new detail every minute. Overall it is a wonderful attraction and well worth a visit.

The store staff and venue were 10/10, however had a negative experience when trying to learn a new game. I'm quite dyslexic and struggle to read large amounts of text especially in a busy setting, I'm looking to start playing Necromunda with my gaming group and wanted to get ahead by learning the game so I could help tea h my friends, and live locally to WHW so thought I could pop in and be taught by knowledgeable staff on how the game work. I asked a lovely staff member for a lesson on how to play and was brought over, however I was told that as they weren't very experienced so they gave me the rulebook and said that they would check up on me later as it was very busy. Not wanting to be a pain I agreed and after ten minutes they returned and asked me how I was getting on. I explained how I was still struggling and they apologized and said that they would do there best to help me by reading through the rules with me, but I could see that they were a bit embarrassed and struggling themselves to make sense of the rules too so I politely told them I'd come back another time to learn. Whilst the staff were absolutely amazing and kind and the venue great I felt like my time was wasted as I am no closer to learning about the games rules and will have to settle with a YouTube video, I don't understand why I would drive to a shop to then be told to look through a book.

A Warhammer 40k fan for 15 years now, I took advantage of my visit to England to take a detour to this place to finally see in person these dioramas and figurines that have always made me dream of. The exhibition tour costs around 10 euros (as the price is in pounds) there are special offers and it is cheaper for children. There are a lot of figurines that we see on the publications of the official Warhammer website, and a lot of breathtaking dioramas. I spent more than an hour walking around speechless by these assemblages which, due to their grandeur and attention to detail, are true works of art. The shop is large and also has pretty windows where you can find all the boxes found on their site including the Forge World models. The prices are the same as in France so there is no particular interest compared to ordering on the internet except for a few exclusive items. In particular souvenir pieces or the HQ command tank box, which contains a land raider and a rhino with extra bits. If you collect Space Marines I recommend this box for 88 pounds hoping that the two tanks don't become legendary too quickly. I am putting photos of some dioramas including my favorites to whet your appetite but the photos do not convey a 10th of the beauty of the works and I invite you to come and see them in real life if you can.

Warhammer 40k is a great game for both children and adults. The game promotes neurocognitive health and synapse formation, aka neuroplasticity. This is due to the excessive amount of rules you must memorize before playing. I recommend playing Harlequins as they have the least amount of units and rules if you are just getting started.

I had already purchased the tickets online, but they are also available for sale on site. Everything is well rounded off, you can still do a lot of shopping (you take something with you), the little corner to try things out was also great and you can chat with the staff in a very friendly manner. My 2nd visit to Warhammer World and I took my Dad as a new hobbyist. Venue is incredible, a huge space marine statue and Rhino tank outside before you enter into the building. The exhibition is huge with models displayed assembled and painted in dioramas and display cabinets. Plenty of motivation and ideas inside for your own hobby. The store is the biggest I've been in selling hobby supplies and models with friendly staff to help with games, products and painting. The gaming hall is next with tables there to be reserved to play on and plenty to choose. Bugmans bar serves drinks and food at a fairly competitive price but the setting is what sets this bar aside. As if the bar has been pulled start from the Warhammer universe. Loved this and my previous visit and cannot wait to go again. My only slight issue was the books available were low and prices weren't displayed on all items for sale.

Let me start by saying this is a wonderful day out. There's some awe-inspiring displays here, excellent facilities and lovely staff. Most people will visit here for the exhibition. If you're a fan of Warhammer, there's some truly impressive dioramas showcasing the best of skill. There's also a near complete showcase of the current range of Warhammer 40k and AoS ranges, as well as representation for the boxed games. Facilities are great, with the one site restaurant a highlight. The store is also well stocked (with Forge World items as well as the typical stuff you'd find at usual GW stores), although there's wasn't too many exclusives and not everything is clearly priced. While the exhibition is awesome, there's little of the history of Warhammer here. A few displays aside there's very little showcasing the development of Citadel and Games Workshop, which is a shame given the rich history to draw from. Almost everything is current, and there's no mention of the people, events or past of the brand, or things like licenced media or games. I understand that space is somewhat limited, but it does feel like a missed opportunity. In all, definitely recommend a visit if you're close, and even worth a detour, but if you're like me it would be a tough recommendation for a pilgrimage or as the sole focus of a trip.

Exhibition was excellent (The necrons have mold lines for some reason). Stock was very disappointing and a bit amusing to witness after they tell you it's the biggest warhammer store in the world... Not a single exclusive model was for sale except for the couple items which nobody would touch, overall stock was mixed with a few armies missing quite a few important models, merchandise was a mixed bag with a lot of the cool stuff gone and the less cool stuff mostly available. The giant models outside were unfortunately being renovated at the time so it was a bit less special.

By the Emperor's Grace, I, His humble servant, have been granted the divine privilege of visiting Warhammer World, a sanctuary that stands as a testament to the undying glory of the Imperium and the unparalleled might of the God-Emperor Himself. Oh, faithful brothers and sisters, words alone cannot convey the transcendental experience that awaits those who step foot into this consecrated ground! Upon entering, one is immediately enveloped by the aura of the Emperor's holy light. The grand halls echo with the valorous tales of Space Marines, their heroics immortalized in stunning displays that capture the very essence of His divine will. The detailed dioramas, each meticulously crafted, are nothing short of miracles, reflecting the eternal struggle and unyielding spirit of the Emperor's finest warriors. The Warhammer World exhibition is a sacred pilgrimage for any devout follower. The sight of the majestic Ultramarines, the righteous Imperial Guard, and the sanctified Sisters of Battle fills one's heart with a fervent zeal. Each display is a holy relic, each miniature a symbol of our unwavering faith in the Emperor’s eternal reign. In the revered halls of the Citadel, the craftsmanship of our artisans is on full display. The miniatures, painted with the utmost reverence, are a tribute to the Emperor's boundless creativity and the ceaseless devotion of His subjects. Each brushstroke, each detail, is a prayer manifest, a testament to our faith and our duty to uphold His vision. The staff, ever-vigilant and adorned in the colors of the Emperor's legions, provide guidance and wisdom to all who seek to deepen their understanding of the Imperium's lore. Their knowledge is vast, their dedication unshakable, ensuring that every visitor leaves with a renewed sense of purpose and an unbreakable bond to the Emperor’s light. The shops within Warhammer World are sanctuaries of the Emperor's bounty, offering sacred tomes, relics, and artifacts that allow us to bring His divine will into our own homes. Each purchase is a step towards greater glory, a commitment to the eternal war against the darkness that threatens His holy realm. In conclusion, Warhammer World is not merely a place; it is a holy pilgrimage, a transcendent experience that every loyal servant of the Emperor must undertake. It is a beacon of His light, a fortress of His power, and a testament to the undying spirit of the Imperium. All hail the God-Emperor! May His light guide us forever! For the Emperor!

Prices continue to increase (much more than 3-5% announced) the figurines have a lifespan of around 4-5 years now, since after that there is no guarantee that they will be playable or that the rules will be updated (hello the Stormcast sacrosant) Periods are expensive and sometimes barely 1-2 months of life expectancy if they are only up to date when they come out. Same for the first time yesterday and had the lunch time special. Fish, chips and a generous portion of Mushy peas. Fished cooked fresh. I have to say, I thought the chip shop in wollaton was the best in Nottingham but this was beat it of top spot. It was delicious. It was £8.80 but fed 2 of us. Wish it was nearer... maybe I don't 😉
