Love every thing about this place food tasty hot and fresh, great choice of drinks all staff are helpful and friendly got David and ashly looking after us too day and they are marvellous helpful welcoming can't do enough for you prices are very good never go anywhere that's better, so see you all soon 😀

Usually go to the brewers fayre at cannock orbital, but decided to try walsall, all in all good service and a good meal.

Took my children here for breakfast with Santa, what an excellent experience, Santa was brilliant! Food was great as always A++++

We've had some dinner here recently and all i can tell you is: yes i'll come back for more there as the food and service really nice!

Went for Xmas work meal, one came out on a cracked plate and was sent back, chicken was pink, steak un cooked, veggie Wellington was a pie with few carrots and few potatoes, worse meal I've ever had, no wonder pub was empty.

I recently enjoyed a meal with my wife at the Brewers fayre Walsall. The food was excellent. The staff totally accommodating, as normal. The young man Ashley was exceptionally good, despite being busy he was pleasant and efficient. On the numerous occasions we have been to the restaurant the service remains consistently good. We go there for breakfast now and again and the staff have always been helpful polite and engage with the customers.The food for a buffet service is good otherwise we wouldn't go back and lots of choice. Toilets could be a bit cleaner but that's the people who use them also.

Excellent service and lovely carvery! Their gravy is gluten free too.

Nice place to go adapted my meal for my needs

We are regularly here when we are in Walsall. The food is great, but furniture is starting to look worn out and dirty.

Came here with my family 7 of us, had some food and pudding. Food was lovely all the kids happy. Special mention to libby who really looked after us all. Pleasure to the company. Thank you libby. We’ll be back

The food is always consistent and the value is great. Staff are friendly, from the manager down. My mom eats here regularly. Be clear this is not gourmet food but the price and choice is great.

Expect half a soda drink for £3.30 when questioned at the bar, they said they had to stick with specific measurements, but considering this isn't refillable seems very petty. Other pubs would be better choice in area if you want quality as all food is bland and doesn't look like the menu also cups dirty. Did mention the problems we had with the staff but nothing was done to rectify.

Thought I would try this out as I know they are hot and miss at tines but was presently surprised. Nice and spacious not to busy at all and nice and clean. Bar staff polite and friendly also. I went for the creamy chicken pie with mash and peas, it came out very well presented and was pipping hot which was so nice. I will return.

Mike, David, Asti and Emily were excellent, always very welcoming, attentive to your request and very friendly. Service with a smile .

update: Oct 2024 such a pity: my friend reported we were "misinformed" about "dog policy" on her last visit [we have a tiny, well-behaved therapy dog who the excellent manager brad allowed in 2 weeks ago]... i wont say more... we just wont be going back. demoted to 1 star (despite excellent locale and food).

Great place , lovely food & amazing staff... was served by belle who works really hard to look after her customers and make them smile.

We visited last Sunday while having a family meal and we had problems with receiving one of our discounts. A lovely lady called Sharan Helped us and made sure we received it she was absolutely lovely and the service was 10/10!

Mike from the Walsall branch is such an amazing member of your team, treats every customer with respect, and goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Mike takes the time to get to know his customers, and remembers their name upon return. Always a pleasure and thank you for alwhas making me and who ever comes with me feel so welcome.

Mike gave an amazing service and was very welcoming. Pav cooked up a beautiful breakfast and I really enjoyed it.

I was staying in the Premier Inn with family, this place has exceptional breakfast and the staff are very pleasant, 👌

Food was a 10/10! Me and my partner had the spicy chicken burger and my daughter had spaghetti bolognaise, presentation and taste was outstanding thanks to the chef Liam! Emily served our food and taken our order she was absolutely lovely and I couldn't have asked for better service! Will 100% be coming again :)

Friendly staff. Tasty all you can eat full English breakfast for £11. Plenty of seating. Can get busy on weekends.

The service was very slow but staff were very nice. The food is ok but nothing amazing. There were little telly's with kids shows on, all the others had sound but ours didn't, it meant my kids were frustrated because they didn't know what was going on.

Absolutely amazing place for breakfast. Always friendly and polite as well as keeping our regular table that can comfortably seat members of our party in wheelchairs and accommodate our various needs. Dark inside but by the canal with a view, food is reasonable. Breakfast is a buffet but they seat you quickly, good range on the menu and large table for groups.

Had to travel for work, room was excellent, food was good, and the service was bang on. There was scaffolding up, which was mentioned on the website, that really didn't affect anything. Really, really pleasant.

We were looked after very well by Asheley he was very polite, and helpful, put me at ease, even though I took along time to make up my mind what to eat.

Perfect place for a reasonably priced date night. My partner had the smothered platter, all cooked to perfection. I had the house salad with chicken, the salad was so fresh and honestly the best salad I've had out! Service was a little slow but we did hear they were understaffed, with that in mind the service was bang on.

Service is exceptional, ladies are lovely expecially Bell who made my experience memorable and worthwhile.

Had dinner here twice during my stay in Walsall. The food was very good and the people who work there smile and are very nice. Can't get full marks for food as they didn't have what I ordered both times and they found this out after I had ordered. So had to change what I was going to eat both times. But as I said, the food I got was very good.

First time visiting here whilst lunching with friends, food very good and very friendly waiter. Will definitely be back.

I had lunch in dining area, which i felt quite confortable the service, i enjoyed the carvey, a good layout within the restaurant, so i was able to seat and eat my meal.

Enjoyed the vegan options here for breakfast. Service is always friendly. They have oat and almond milk available and vegan sausage and bacon. Pool table is good fun.

The staff are excellent. We visit a few times a year and Mike (manager), Ashley, David and the rest of the team are incredibly helpful and accommodating.

Walked in, place almost empty. Was told we could sit anywhere and to just order our food and drinks at the bar. After deciding what we were having we walked to the bar. There were no staff serving at the bar so we waited and we waited and we waited. 3 members of staff looked at us but ignored us one even went to the bar to drink her own drink and walked off. After several minutes it was obvious we wasn't getting served so left. If the place was full of customers it would have made sense but there was literally a handful of people in there

This is one of my favourite places to go, the food is great, the menu might not necessarily stand out from others but it is done well consistently.

A few years ago I thought Brewers Fayre wasn't up to much but now I think they are very good. The value is brilliant, especially for kids meals and the staff are friendly at this branch. The good is straight forward but cooked well, with a decent carvery, especially for the price. I hope they don't shift from this balance in terms of value. As with all hospitality staffing levels are tight but the people who work here are always friendly and constantly busy serving, tidying, replenishing. I don't know staff names but the manager/assistant manager with the dark hair, and the man with the dark hair and the red uniform shirt on, always seem to be on when we come and they are always smiling, talkative and nice to my daughter. We will keep coming back.

Waited nearly an hour for a steak meal and fish and chips meal. When we got our meal it wasn’t very warm at all. The place wasn’t busy so an hours wait for not great food I though was not great at all. On the other hand previously we went for unlimited breakfast which was superb.

Soon as we arrived, we were greeted By Cal who showed us to our table and welcomed us. I want to praise Brad at the Bar for delivering amazing drinks, Nice clean Glasses, Wonderful cheery service and pulled a great couple of pints. Liam the chef was amazing with the food. The mixed grills we ordered could not have been better. For the price, you get an amazing plate of food and it's no small one either. Beautiful Steak, gammon, chicken breast, 2 proper sausages, 2 eggs, onion rings skin in fries, perfect portion of peas. Everything was spot on and you definitely get your money's worth. He's done a fabulous job and has exceeded expectations. And a Huge thank you to Belle for looking after us and coming over to check if everything was ok with our food. Absolutely zero faults in the service, nice atmosphere, everything is lovely and clean, great setting next to the canal side and awesome food that hits the spot. Will definitely be coming again, might have found a new favourite restaurant to go to Great job to all the team 👏🏻👏🏻 Keep up the fantastic service 👍🏻

I always come here for the buffet breakfast, always get your moneys worth as there's a good variety to choose from, also unlimited hot drinks along with fruit juices. Can't wait for my next visit.

Always a positive experience eating here and the staff are amazing. Always willing to help if you have any allergies and never too much trouble to offer alternative options. Best carvery I've had in a while! Great selection of veg and other sides such as Mac and Cheese and potato gratin. The meat was cooked lovely and plenty of it! Yorkshire puddings were straight out of the oven and sooo good! As a table of 5, we all had the carvery and were all impressed. Also had desserts and they were really good. We had caramel apple Betty, chocolate brownie and kids sundae. Couple of things for improvement. There was a big queue at the bar to order food and drinks. The furniture could do with a refresh. Will definitely be returning for our next carvery.

First visit on Sunday 6 of us 5 carverys and 1 scampi and chips. Food was all very good, good service pleasant friendly staff. The only downside was, that there wasn't a lot of vegetables if they could address this everything would be a five star only scoring a 4 because of lack of veg! We all had a desert aswell, again all very good 👍 we will return.

Brilliant atmosphere with friendly helpful staff. Really well priced food with a large variety of options for any foodie. Bar staff are professional and service is speedy. Cocktails are fabulously priced and delicious. Clean premises and any issues (of which there are very few) are always dealt with swiftly and respectfully. I would recommend this restaurant to friends, family and business colleagues.

Closed for a 2nd term holiday. awful service on a regular day, definitely know they can’t handle when the kids are off school so just shut it to avoid the complaints. Avoid at all costs !

Atmosphere is shocking, went to order food and they wouldn’t accept cash… £50 notes. Was very rude and snotty. We Finnished our drinks and left. Would not recommend at all…

We had the fish pie, very disappointed, hot on outside of dish but lukewarm in middle, we are sure it was just microwaved and not cooked conventionally, will probably not go there again, also we had a bottle of wine served with 2 wet glasses, not good at all

I am a regular customer. I booked a Carvery for 2 on Sunday 14th January at 3.30pm. I had to ask for fresh Yorkshire puddings and waited over 5 minutes. The chief gave me 2 pigs in blanket to apologise. My Carvery ended up luke warm thanks to the Gravy. Then I went to the ladies room and it was not nice. Rubbish around the Sink areas and Poo in the toilets. Then I went to the bar to ask them to turn off the Air Conditioning. I don't expect to wear my Gloves in a restaurant. Overall I am not a happy customer.

I went for Christmas day lunch with family and friends. We had already pre ordered our meals and were looking forward to our lunch. We arrived slightly early and had to wait for our table. The staff were in very good spirits and clearly working hard together as a team. Once we sat at our table, we mentioned our welcome drinks as part of the package. This was missed out, and the staff member quickly rectified it and brought our drinks. I really cannot tell you enough of how impressed I was with the staff. They did a fabulous job. The food was fine, nothing exciting, and was the standard I was expecting. A few members of my party expressed the beef being bland, I however had no issue.

We come to brewers fayre the wharf walsall several times a week and always on special occasions, we love the staff particularly David Mike and Ashley always a warm pleasant welcome food great and very good prices would highly recommend

The young lad behind the bar was very friendly! Food was very disappointing.

I ate here a couple of weeks ago and was not impressed. We ate here xmas eve ,and had the carvery which was dried up, poor value for money ,more than Toby Inn. Not a great deal of choice re veg. I've come here for many years ,now it's poor food. I'll b reconsidering any time further eating there .Such a shame

Used be a really nice place, stained seating, stained floors, decor outdated and dusty and they wonder why they had rat problems and had to shut a few months ago.

Was a good meal with decent service however other customers were having to wait 40mins to 1hour for their food.

I went there yesterday with the person I live with. The guy who served was very welcoming and helpful.the food we had was delicious. the tea was great. The fish was largest and delicious. I will heavily recommend this place. It cheaper and better than wheatherspoons.

Arrived just after 7pm on Saturday night and found ourselves an unreserved table. Unfortunately a large group was arriving later that evening and that area should have been reserved. Laila was very polite when informing us and found us an alternative table. We ordered our food from the festive menu. Laila was attentive and diligent while looking after us at our table. Our drinks were made by Brad who is an absolute star. The chocobox martinis require a few different elements and a lot of shaking, he did it all while having a friendly chat. The final presentation of the drinks were very pretty and bought a little Christmas cheer.

The food here is actually really good, good value for money. The seating area is in definite need of a refurb. The floor is sticky, the chairs are stained and tables old. But saying that the team are really friendly and food was great.

Enjoyed our meal. Was good value for money. Didn't have to wait long for our food.
